I really hate it when sellers can’t name their stones properly. There’s no such thing as yellow jade. Yellow jade is a trade name for a type of quartz that is naturally yellowy.

I bought 6 2lbs bags for my fish tank. Beautiful coloring. I will say it is pricy though. Didn’t see any sharp ones that can damage my betta fins. The 2lbs bag is smaller than what I thought as well ( why I had to make a second order of more).

The chips were a VERY pale pink as opposed to a richer pink colour, but none of them were white, super clear or appear to be maliciously altered. (I haven’t really investigated them much, just colour and feel)

Color and stone size as pictured. Colors range from almost clear to milky white to very light pink. I sprinkled a few deeper stones on top to show contrast. At this price they are among the best value in this type of stone. These look lovely surrounding a plant by themselves or with some darker stones mixed in. Would also be nice in a clear vase. Package contains about 2-1/2 cups of stones. I used just under half (1 lb) for a 6″ diam. planter, one to two stones deep.

As soon as I opened the package, I knew immediately I would not be able to use them for a fish tank. I did clean them off and decide to keep them for a vase with bamboo in it and it looks really pretty. They would also be really good to use if you make candles and wanted to add some pretty stones to them.

I wanted these to be more rose-y, but they worked for my purposes. They do vary in color a bit, but all very light pink. They do stain pretty well, so if you need a different color you can toss them around with some india ink to get whatever color you like. I made some extra pink, red, and black, and all turned out as you would imagine. Not 100% what I was hoping for, but definitely not disappointed.

Bought the cherry quartz to put in my fish tank (5.5 gallons) to make it more pink and it definitely got the job done, I absolutely love it. The colors are so pretty. Rinse well before adding to your tank. They’re all very smooth no rough edges at all. I still have about half the bag left over so I will have to find another use for the leftovers but I’m very happy with this purchase if you’re thinking about buying this for your tank, just do it I promise you won’t regret it. I originally wanted to get pink but I heard it’s a very pale pink and it can sometimes look white, which is why I picked cherry quartz in the end and I’m glad I did.
