Bought 2 of these. Both were for grandsons to keep their money, ticket stubs, etc in. They like them. One is just fine, but other cover is so tight, it’s quite difficult to open it. A little disappointed.

I had to get a screwdriver to get the box open. While pretty, the fit is so tight it can’t be functionally used without sanding or other means to loosen the fit of the lid.

It was a bit hard to open and close. We gifted it to 85 year old great grandmother. We tried to carve this piece down a bit to open and close easier. It did not work but we gave it to her anyway

I really like the dream catcher box. It is obviously handmade, not mass-produced. The top fits a little bit tight and is difficult at first to open. I put a little candle wax (just rub an unlit candle over the wood) around the inside edge and it smoothed the way. This made a unique Christmas gift for my sister that I filled with pictures of things I would have bought her for Christmas if we had not decided to cut back. I dreamed big and got her a B&B in Provence, France, and a Sumerian necklace currently house in the Brooklyn Museum. She in turn got me a 1965 Alpha Romeo Spider. Much better than the Grinch socks I got last year.

It’s very pretty however I could not get it to open at all until I used a butter knife to pry it gently open. Felt like the lid may have adjusted some maybe during shipping. The box it came in was slightly smashed. Which was not the packing box, it was its own box. There was a piece on the inside that was loose. I’ll probably have to glue it back in. I think I can fix it without having to return it.

This was a Christmas gift for my roommate. She loved it and I didn’t have any problems with the lid being to tight to open. Many of the reviews mentioned problems with the lid, but I didn’t have any trouble.
