The only flaw was that the cord for the necklace is fairly short, but still works. One was used to hang from the rearview mirror.

I received this yesterday, (10-10-23) and I was surprised at how well made this is, I bought the cheaper of the 3 that I was looking at, I could not really see a difference between any of them, so I took a chance.
Everybody everywhere always says, “This is a lot smaller than I thought it would be”. Ravens have a LOT of feathers on top of their heads, and really, if you removed your hair and skin you’d be surprised at how small our skulls are, they are a lot smaller than you’d think.
As far as the resin it’s made of, it’s fine, it has some heft to it, and the paint job is O.K., it’s a little dark. I took some colored pencils that I have and made it much better looking, and it doesn’t rub off like you would think. (Of course, it’s a very good brand and it’s oil-based) Of course if you wanted to paint it, you sure could, wash it good first though to get the mold release off from casting.
If you plan on using this for a necklace, it has a hole drilled all of the way through its eyes, just for that.
If you don’t use it for a necklace, the holes don’t really show at all, so that’s good.
The hole is ‘approximately’ 1/8″ in diameter, thereabouts.
This will be used as a photographic prop, for some old style still life, like the paintings they did in the 1700’s, etc. (along with candles, and old quill pen, a (replica) human skull, old books, and a few odds and ends.
It’s a really good buy, at this time I paid $8.99 for it, you can’t beat that price.
I’d buy it again if I had to, it’s really worth it.

This raven skull is a cool little accent piece. It is small, but appropriately sized for a raven. It looks pretty realistic, and the price is reasonable. It can work well in a curiosity cabinet, or on a 19th century style desk with little specimens, rocks, shells, and inkwell, pen, etc. which is how I’m using it. It is a hard resin type of material, so isnt fragile. I am pleased with this purchase.

I thought that the two pack had two different sized items and that was not the case they are both the same size.
Although the size is not appropriate for what I was going to do with them I decided that I would keep them and use them elsewhere.
They look authentic and they will hold up nicely. There was some shavings or small little pieces in the bag and I thought one of them might have been broken – if it came off of one of them it’s not noticeable.
