Halo –
I wear an extended size, 36j or 36k (in UK sizing), and these types of bras typically don’t work for the gals. I got a 2XL and put it on the tightest set of hooks, and the band is still a bit looser than I’d prefer for proper support. But my cups spilleth over as I expected, so couldn’t wear it for any social events or where I’d expect to be seen, photos etc. Being soft cup, this would work for home/sleep/lounge/the odd errand.
Plus points are that it’s super smooth, comfortable on the skin, stretchy, and likely supportive enough for more typical sizes. Seems durable and well made, and the price was right. For me, I have to take off a star because the cups are not stretchy enough to accommodate my massive mammaries, and I desperately wish they were because I otherwise really like this bra. Not the bra’s fault nor the designer’s; yet I wish they’d make a specialty line for the unusually gifted. There are little to no options that are affordable; I hate spending $60-80+ per bra! I would do snatch up a half dozen of these if they fit me better. Just need a little extra fabric in the cup for me and maybe more hooks to be able to tighten the band.
Nala –
These bras are comfortable. I wish they had adjustable shoulder straps, but overall they’re great for everyday wear.

The best bra I’ve ever had! It’s so comfortable, lightweight and gives support. Doesn’t leave marks even if I’ve worn it for a long time. I might buy a second pair 🙂
Leisa Kite –
I threw away most of my old bras after wearing this one! It’s so comfortable & fits perfectly!

I have purchased all sorts of bras, and they have all been very uncomfortable. I did find two jockey bras that were comfortable. So I searched for Jockey bras and found these Hanes on sale. I took a chance and purchased two bras. I wore one today for 14 hours and felt very comfortable. I describe this bra as the perfect fit and the most comfortable bra that I have purchased for decades. I just made another purchase of two more bras.
Linda Hok –
The most comfortable bra I have ever had. I could sleep in this. No more underwires. Usually I start out the day without a bra, but I am wearing this one around the house. Fantastic.
L. Garland –
I have purchased many of these. They are very comfortable and work for me. However…
They do not provide any support, to speak of, but I have implants (due to cancer) and my breasts stand up in spite of no support.
The straps could be wider.
The cup fabric is so thin that your nipples will show thru.

I have tried so many more expensive bras and I cannot find one that fits. I do think part of my problem with these is that you get what you pay for. That said, they are the only thing that fits without causing my costochondritis to flare, so I keep buying them… despite that the elastic wears out after 5 or 6 wears. I have tried hand washing. I have tried NOT washing, and they still wear out just from the weight of supporting my chest. It’s really disappointing because they are so comfortable the first and second time that I wear them, but even on the third wear, I start to feel the difference.

I bought this bra in an XL. I am a 58 year old woman who normally wears a 38B. I am 5’6″ and 168 lbs. I bought the nude one first and loved it so much I bought one in black. So here’s the deal. Bra is super stretchy, the back was about 2 inches smaller than the nude but it stretched just fine after a wear or two. The cups are soft and cozy. They are not lifting or very supportive, just enough to keep them from resting on my under boob area. I work from home and wear these under my lounge wear and loose tops. They are not padded at all. Your nipples will show through if you get cold. I, for one, am not shy about my nipples (we all got them, right?) The bra is comfy with one exception, and for me, it’s a big one. On the back, where the hook and eye closure is, there are so many sharp corners on the fabric. Also, the threads used to stitch the closure on feels very sharp like fishing line. It is constantly poking me and I have had to clip off several sharp edges to make it wearable. It feels like little needles poking me in the back. Now that I have softened the sharp corners with manicure scissors it’s better but there is nothing I can do about the sharp threads other than try to cover them up with moleskin. The nude one didn’t have these threads, the black one is almost too painful to wear.

These are AMAZING bras! I purchased these for a trip to Africa and I was looking for something with support, but also lightweight. I love the feel of the fabric, they are so very comfortable and not as “confining” as your typical pull over sports bras. They have me a great deal of support, which is necessary on the extremely bumpy roads of rural Kenya. Granted, there were times I did need to use my hand for a little extra support when the road was bumpy enough to throw you out of your seat. The girls generally sweat a lot, but with this bra and some Carpe breast lotion, I was as cool as a cucumber. I’ve bought every color except black, which I will be rectifying once I get back to the States!
Just My Opinion…. –
I was looking for a decent, comfortable, quick-drying bra for travel in a hot, humid climate and found this at Target. I’ve always worn only cotton and hate padded cups. But this is amazing. No padded cups (yay), the fabric is soft, seamless (except for an unobtrusive seam at the top of each shoulder), has wide side/back coverage and actually supports. The label says “machine wash warm, tumble dry low” and it air-dried it in 2 hours.
It looked smooth across my torso, the fabric is lightweight, and feels luxurious – not sheer and not plastic-y. I am so pleased that I’ve bought 4 more.
The size suggested by the tag did surprise me, and since there is a completely useless sizing chart offered, I’ll try to relate the one from the tag:
Small: 34A, 34B, 36A
Medium: 34C, 34D, 36B, 36C
Large: 36D, 38B, 38C 38D, 40B
X-Large: 40C, 40D, 42B, 42C,
2X:44B, 44C, 46B, 46C
3X: 48B, 48C, 50B, 50C
((if you’re not listed, then the chart does not mention your size).
There are three hook-and-eye fastening widths to choose from, and yes, the straps are not adjustable, but I didn’t find that a problem. The fabric is stretchy in multiple directions and keeps a surprisingly good profile for not having any underwire. It looks as good at the end of the day as at the beginning, and let’s just say that while I’m not massively endowed, I’m not able to get away with “decorative” support.
Please note that I had to find this based on the photo. The label inside says “G796/HOC7/4587” but the “G796” brings up a different bra on Amazon.
Added Comment 10 August, 2015:
I found the photo to be a bit misleading as to the “Nude” colour (which looks too light) and the “Golden Cocoa” which looked more like regular nude colour. BUT…in life, the “Nude” colour is true to the general colour associated with nude in lingerie, and the “Golden Cocoa” is more of a dark caramel/brown (think the dark caramel/brown pantihose BEFORE you stretch them across your skin). And while I’m on it, the “Navy” is more blue-black than sapphire blue. Hope this helps.

UPDATE: I reviewed my first purchase as a Medium fit. Medium should be my correct size per the chart and Amazon’s suggestion. Bought another set in XL and this works for me. The shoulder straps are long enough without altering them. The cup size is just mildly too big, but unnoticeable. So, upside by two and it might work for you!
The fabric is comfortable, the seams are neat. The circumference around my rib cage is snug, but fine. (I ordered a Medium). However, the straps over my shoulders are too short so that the bra continually rides up within a half hour of wearing it. There is no way to adjust the strap length, which I knew about before ordering. If only the strap measurements had been included I might have decided against the purchase. I can sew, so I might decide to cut the straps in front and add an adjustable spacer. Or not…:) I’m 5’6″ for reference sake.

I am a 46b, the bra fits cup-wise but a little tight underbust. I use an extender to get that extra bit of room. What I like most is the under-band which is very soft on the skin, and doesn’t cause the skin under my breasts to split when it gets a bit sore. Very comfortable for the mature woman. I have about 6 of these now and will buy more when needed.
Donna –
My favorite comfy bra, bar none. Lately, it seems to be running a bit smaller than it used to, but I am hoping they stretch a bit. They do not conceal nipples in tight fitting tops, but for wearing around the house or with looser fitting clothing, they are fantastic. I own many of them in different colors.
ladyken –
This is hands down the most comfortable bra I own. The fabric is soft and feels great, which makes it perfect for wearing around the house. That said, it doesn’t quite provide the level of support I personally need when I’m out in public. I’ll admit I may require more lift than the average woman, so support is important to me. I’ve just placed an order for the same bra in a size smaller to see if that offers a better lift. I’m hopeful it will be the perfect balance of comfort and support.

Being a female, I see bras as a necessary evil. But I bought several of these years ago and noticed all my previous bras being ignored. I found some recently in my dresser, and I laughed. Was I really that much smaller, then? Well, as I’ve grown in size, and I realized I needed larger bras. I searched my current bras for the brand, but I’ve had them so long, the brand wore off. For months, I searched for something similar. Sadly, my size is off the charts for most of the cute brands, and I was avoiding underwire AT ALL COSTS! I am not paying to have something poke me in the sides–having to wear a bra is bad enough! I knew from experience that sports bras gave me that “uni-boob” look, and no, I don’t feel like wearing a daily mammogram, tyvm. I put so many possible brands in my cart, bought one or two here and there, and tried. And I just couldn’t. I didn’t understand how those bras could have such rave reviews. They were awful. One brand was so uncomfortable, even though it’s a big name that even your grandma would recognize, that I am swearing off it for the rest of my life. I was hoping to find a balconette bra, but it seems those aren’t made in my size, and the ones CALLED balconette that ARE in my size look like boob coats. I was looking for the balconette style in my SIZE, not something called balconette that would fit but looks nothing LIKE a balconette bra. I’ll pass. I’m plenty fluffy, folks. I’m looking for the most comfortable bra I can find that still gives support. Finally, I saw the Hanes ComfortFlex Wirefree bra, and ordered a couple. When they arrived, I jumped up and down in joy! THESE were the bras I was LOOKING for!! I found them! Okay, I’ll be the first to agree that they are NOT balconette bras (that search will sadly have to be put to bed, now), but they ARE the most comfortable, most supportive bras I will suffer wearing. From now on, until I find that elusive balconette that LOOKS like a balconette IN MY SIZE, these will be the only bras I’ll wear. You wear ’em for sleep? Okay, fine. I’ll wear ’em to work. I better buy a bunch of them, so they don’t fall prey to my tendency to fall in love with something that winds up getting discontinued. You gotta try at least ONE of these. Because I have a feeling when you do, you’ll think it’s the best bra yet, as well. If you find one better, let me know.

I am naturally large breasted with a wide back as well. I have searched and searched for a comfortable bra. I have bought literally dozens of different styles, types, and brands. Wireless, pushup, sport, full coverage, half cup – cheap to extremely expensive. All with one thing in common claiming to be comfortable and supportive. As I am full breasted but not obese or overweight over the years they have kept upping my bra and dress size even though my measurements have remained almost identical for over 10 years, very hard on one’s confidence as you get older. Going from a 36D or L to a 40 F or a XXXXL with no weight or size gain. So it was wonderful to find a bra that stated my size was only a M but was very wary and bought 1. Arranged and wow so now have 5.
Jack’s Gal –
This bra is NOT easy to find..and mostly hard to find in my size medium. Why don’t they make more MEDIUMS of just about every soft type bra out there? It is so comfortable…was on my last decent one..and now am wearing this newest. Fit perfectly. Just ordered another for a very good price.
The Carver Family –
I really love these bras. They are comfortable and don’t add any extra padding. They do tend to lose their shape quickly. However, their low price makes it easy to pick up new sets from time to time. I also love that I can just toss them into the washing machine and have clean bras with every outfit. My only complaints are that the straps aren’t adjustable and the material stretches out quickly, offering less support. Overall, an amazing full-coverage bra that you can wear daily.
Jaqueline –
If you are like me and hate bras and have a hard time finding a good bra, this is for you. This bra is perfection. Comfortable with enough support. 15/10!!
For reference I wear 40 C
