If you are used to stronger green tea flavor, this sencha would taste like water with barely a hint of tea flavor and color. I let it sit in my mug over night. The tea is more to my liking the next day (room temp of course but i can hear it up in microwave).

This is THE best Sencha. I’ve sampled many over the years, and this one is by far the smoothest, the least bitter, and a great deal, with 50 bags in the box. Nice, smooth vegetal flavor. Absolutely LOVE this tea!

Almost finished the box. It doesn’t have that bitter flavor that I get with some green teas, but I use a lot of water and I don’t leave the tea bag in for long.
I drink tea without sweeteners, and I do not need sugar or honey to help with the taste of this tea. I replaced my coffee with this, because I use too much sugar and cream in my coffee. It offers other health benefits too.

I ordered this after researching which teas are “better”. The box arrived in good condition and I am very pleased with the taste of this tea. It is a nice light green color after steeping in hot water, (not boiling) for several minutes. It is very mild and easy to drink. I would say it has little or no aroma, and I did not feel any effects of caffeine. This is pure tea leaves with no sugar added…just good old fashioned tea bags with a string. I like them and will order again.
