These are absolutely amazing. I use them anytime there’s a storm, or my high energy dog has too much energy.And it’s raining outside and we can’t go outside to play. It takes About forty five minutes to an hour For them to kick in, but they help your dog a lot.And when you buy the two pack , you save a lot of money. These work well for my pups. We give them to our dogs when we are leaving to help with their anxiety. They do smell a bit odd but it’s the herbal ingredients. One of our boys has now associated the treat with our leaving so although he’ll eat it, he’s not as excited to eat it as the others.

These are AWFUL!!!! To start off with, they smell absolutely terrible. It is so bad I physically gag every time I open them. Secondly, they do NOT work well at all. My dog is about 90 lbs and I have to give him like 8 just for it to even calm him down the slightest bit. Also, when they do start to work, it’s after about 4 hours anyways, so it’s not worth it really, just let them calm themselves down and you saved money. This is my first review it’s how upset I was.

I have subscribed to shipments of this product for awhile now, this is obviously a product we feel safe giving to our dogs. I have two dogs – an older dog who experiences situational anxiety (fireworks, firearms, motorcycles) and a younger dog who has a lot of general anxiety.
For my dog who suffers less, this product is very effective. In Florida, fireworks accompany most major holidays, so keeping my dog on these in peperation does wonders.
For my dog who suffers more, this product is not as effective and does not help as much, but I do notice a minor difference, especially when it comes to social situations. However, she loves the taste of the treats and darts into the room when she hears the jar being rattled, so in that way they are very effective at getting her to drop her anxiety for a moment!
In order for these to work, they must be taken consistently. While the cost doesn’t break the bank, it can be pricey continuing to buy them over time, I especially notice this when I am buying them for two dogs. I would appreciate larger containers that hold more soft chews, this would make using this product as intended less of an incontinence. Overall, I recommend this product to anyone looking to provide their dogs with a bit of stress relief – just keep in mind that it’s going to be an acquired smell when opening these containers!

My senior labrador has been taking these chews for over a year now. A lady of very advanced years and working to manage her dementia, these are a godsend in her overall treatment. For daily use, I feel comfortable giving her these and they make a very noticeable difference in her comfort and my peace of mind in about 45 minutes. I also really like that we can adjust the dose based on her symptoms, not just based on her body weight, opting for anything from 1-4 chews at a time. On really rough days we do 4 chews plus a prescription medication and there are no contraindications for her. Our vet is impressed and has started recommending them to others before opting for stronger medications. They also work great in my other dog for general anxiety associated with fireworks and thunderstorms. Instead of pacing and panting and shaking, I’m left with a happy, mellow dog.

So far so good! Sometimes Junior doesn’t always eat treats with hemp but two days in a row has eaten this one- it seems to work pretty well- he was pretty relaxed and maybe slept a little more than usual. He is 24.6 LB and I only gave one per day out of an abundance of caution. The hooloo hemp treat was the only one he would eat before this and that brand is either back ordered or discontinued ..

These chews are very effective for calming my dog who has severe storm anxiety. They smell terrible, but the dogs love them and eat them willingly! They think they are treats, and come running when they see the bottle come out. I have recommended them to my friend who has also used them successfully for her large dog.

DONT BUY!! Tried it on my older German Shepherd and he ended up in the ER vet! Way too strong and ingredients do not go well together! If you dont. Are about your dog and just want to shut them up, this is made by you! After giving him a whole treat, he couldn’t walk for 2 days and very lethargic. I then tried a quarter of a treat a few days later. Same thing! Was going to try a eighth but asked the vet first. Glad I did! He had to have vitamins pumped into him through IV. He was at the vet a few weeks before and other than osteoarthritis, he has a clean bill of health. Stick to normal calming techniques. Exercise, weighted blankets, etc. Other treats ive tried worked without this reaction. His well being is more important than me wishing he would chill out!! Id rather have him around as ling as possible than use this treat!
