The best flavor for me is wild berry, blood orange tasted nasty. You can definitely taste the caffeine (or guarana, I’m not sure) as there’s nothing disguising it. Not bad though, just wish they were cheaper or there was a bulk buy option for me to help me with my Red bull addiction.

Tastes great and keeps me awake! Nice mid-day boost!

I used to buy these at Ralph’s up until a year or so ago. Unfortunately Anheuser-Busch discontinued this brand several years after acquiring it from the original, “grassroot” creators. Now it’s owned/operated by Tilray Brands, based in NY. My first observation is that it seems slightly less carbonated and less flavored than I recall. Keep in mind HiBall’s appeal was its’ clean, sugar-free, lightly flavored recipe, along with a medium-dose of caffiene, at 160mgs. (400 milligrams is the FDA cutoff. Anymore than 200 in one day might blow my adrenal system out and induce a cardiac event) But it just seems a little lighter in carbonation and flavor than I recall. Still good, though. Wild Berry was always my go-to.
I’m not sure if Tilray is cutting corners on ingredients, or even the aluminum cans, but I will order some other flavors to test myself. In the meantime, I’m fairly happy to recommend if you’re not in the mood for the many zombie-piss and depleted uranium-based caffeine drinks out there. Cheers.

I started drinking these years ago when I was working at Whole Foods, and I have been a loyal customer ever since (5+ years)! Super clean ingredients, very carbonated, and I enjoy the flavor/smell of pretty much all varieties If you get them on sale, or utilize subscription coupons, they are a good value for the money. If you love lots of caffeine but hate sugar and sugar substitutes then this is the drink for you! Blackberry and Grapefruit are my favorite flavors. Try mixing the vanilla favor with a little OJ or cranberry juice for a yummy treat!

This product is good because it’s zero sugar and keto friendly, which I appreciate. The taste is refreshing, and I feel energized without the crash. However, the price feels a bit high, and I wish it had higher caffeine content to really boost my day. Overall, a decent option for healthier energy drinks, just needs a little tweak.

The taste is pretty bland if you don’t like croix type carbonated water, but the effects are some of the best for an energy drink. It’s like a mild-moderate energy kick but noticeable and no crash at all. Please keep making these

Ever since my fav go-to energy drink with caffeine decided to lose the very reason I purchased it for. Being the caffeine (duh & WTHeck?) I have been looking for a substitute to enter as my go to beverage, so I went through the many listings here, and thought this would perhaps be so fabulous it would justify the HUGE amount required in order to partake.
But hey, its not all about $, its about what you enjoy and I figure this late in life? If I find enjoyment within something? I will obtain it, as long as the $ is not so high I am in debt to have it. This was close to the debt issue, but I ordered and here are my thoughts in my experience. I will be continuing my search for my next” go to” highly caffeinated bev “de jour”..

Size of can is great, MUCH prefer the 16 OZ as compared to the smaller serving cans of energy drinks. To me? Less is, well? Less, and I need as much energy driving additives as possible! I grab one first thing in the mid AM directly after my triple espresso, and its gotta keep me going till I have time to grab another one later in my day. Size is a star!
Next, amount of the extras (basically the ONLY reason I obtain energy bev’s) No carbs, yea! Not that its an inclusion, it’s a exclusion but bonus for having zero, & thought I should add as a whole group of no carb diets going on.
Back to the inclusions, Organic Guarana,, so we all know that that is just another way to add caffeine as thats what it is at the end of the day. Bonus info, I think the fact it comes from the “Amazon” is amusing. Maybe my sense of humor is not everyone’s? But I found a chuckle in that… Back to the subject, as far as the organic part? I don’t really care if it is or not, as to me? The entire “organic” thing is always attached with an accompanying extra “$”, just saying. But there is an amount of 50 mg of organic guarana in this as per can, not per serving.

Organic (yes, that word again. I can just hear “cha-ching” in my head lol) ginseng in another 50 mg per can. There are two (2) different types of this, Asian, and the other is American. It does not define which is included, I am going on Asian due to the benefits over American. Asian seems to ME, how I see it that it’s more beneficial in personally gain. That being mood improvement (have not really noticed that so much honestly, but hey? Maybe it takes a while) & what is referenced to as stamina. Personal interpretation of stamina = energy, so okay, but the dosage provided is so low? I think it’s to say it is in there, but again? Just my personal opinion. Moving on here to my first and foremost reason behind trying this drink out, caffeine.
Now, what did I say about the organic labeling in that I THINK it’s attached to a pricer version, moreso then not organic. As here, “Organic” Caffeine in 160 mg per can. This might seem to be a good dosage? Not on my listing wants, as the amount of caffeine per serving that is said to be okay before you get all zipped out? Above 400 mg. Yes, 400 mg is a distance to the 160 mg included. Disappointing personally, as I really thought with the high request to obtain here? You would get more zoom, not the ying/yang feel that label provides to most people & their ideas of healthy. Healthy is not a must have, in MY search, NOT suggesting anyone follow my lead. I know what I want, I am NOT suggesting anyone else should, period.
I will include here for anyone who cares, that Vitamins B6, & B12 are included at 150% each? I GUESS that would be in percentage of the daily recommenced dose maybe? Note this is a guess, I do NOT know that. And Niacin @ 150%, and last Pantothenic Acid is 150% also. May I ask here if anyone knows what that is? The Pantothenic Acid? It’s B12, yep B12. Which is already clearly ON the listings in the 150%. So what about that? Why the verbal dissimilarity? I am totally unsure and not about to guess. If a question you need to know the Anwser to? I would go straight to the peeps, I am not extending any ideas or even do I want too, period.

I will say that there is no icky aftertaste, at least within my taste buds. It is seltzer water, with a smidge of flavoring thrown into. Not heavily flavored & one of the reasons I gravitated towards these was due to the basic seltzer water & a splash of whatever various flavor is chosen. . There did seem to be a selection of flavors at the time ordered.

I had really hoped that perhaps this would be more, then it turned out to be. Again, I must add in that is only related to MY needs, as I don’t wish for anyone to pick up on an idea that I am referring, suggesting, or in any way insinuating what anyone( other than myself) should/should not do. This entire review is solely based on MY experience, exclusively. I just want to be sure that is understood in plain language. Okay, so the closing of this way too long review is this, for my wants and must haves in an energy drink? I am sad to say this is not my forever, or go to energy drink. It is fine, no doubt about it? But within the bang for the buck factor? This does not even ping. Providing little and requesting a lot I will leave for my dating life, don’t need a double do especially in something I depend on and know the effects I wish to include in positive results throughout my day. The energy drink, not the dating, lol.

It is just not what I am looking for, so I will not be reordering. If I saw in a connivence store would I grab it? Maybe, depending on what else was offered honestly. But that does not exclude it by any means, not at all. For what it is it’s fine, and if it was offered at a lower request? I might be more forgiving, but it is not? So I won’t, and that’s about all.
My search continues, and I am glad I tried these Hi*Ball Energy Seltzers in Wild Berry. Not bad, just not me. Thank you!

So happy I bought this Hiball Lemon Lime energy drink. I like that it’s zero sugar and zero calories, which is perfect for my health goals. The 160mg of organic caffeine gives me enough energy without feeling jittery. The taste is okay, especially if you prefer a milder flavor in energy drinks. It’s not too sweet and has a clean lemon lime flavor. I find it works well when I need a quick pick-me-up during busy days or when I’m rushing out. Overall, a solid choice for a light and refreshing energy drink.

I put the date on this review just in case because this product I received is either pretty old or hiball is being butchered again. Let me explain. When Hiball was acquired by Tilray after a brief hiatus, it was in different cans that had a plastic coating and were flimsier and it tasted weird and bad. Many speculated they used gnarly tap water instead of filtered or something and couldn’t explain the discrepancy because the ingredients appeared the same. A couple of months later, we were back to something I’d consider acceptable. Welp! This past order I received looks exactly like the hiball from that nasty era. It’s honestly kind of sketchy and I almost don’t want to drink it because it tastes kind of poisonous. I really hope this is not a permanent change and I just got an old box or something.

Absolutely love how this Hiball energy drink offers a clean and energizing boost without any sugar or calories. The lemon lime flavor is quite refreshing and not overly sweet, making it perfect for a quick pick-me-up. I enjoy the sparkling water texture and feel good knowing it contains organic caffeine, ginseng, and guarana. It’s become my go-to for staying alert during busy afternoons.

I really like the Hiball Lemon Lime energy drink. The zero sugar and zero calorie aspects make it perfect for my health goals. The sparkling water gives it a crisp, refreshing taste that I enjoy whenever I need a pick-me-up. The organic caffeine and ginseng provide a boost without the jitters. The 16 fl oz size is convenient for on-the-go. Overall, a tasty and energizing option that keeps me going during busy days.

I know its a seltzer with zero sugar. But this makes me want to add a syrup to it to make it have anything resembling flavor. You get an overwhelming taste of the selter with a mist of fmberry as if they just waved the fruit over the liquid and called it a day. Its just simply not good. If it had more caffeine than maybe id consider it in desperation.

Finally found an energy drink that doesnt remind me of flavored heavy syrup. Love that it’s a sparkling water and not a seltzer so there’s no bitter taste. Also since it’s not heavily flavored I find myself less tempted to drink it too fast. When I want an extra kick I use the squeeze ‘water enhancers’ for more flavors/caffeine. Would like a higher caffeine content option.

The Hiball Clean Energy Blackberry Seltzer absolutely delivers on the energy part. It gives a clean, noticeable boost without sugar, and the added B12 and B6 do their job. If you need caffeine without the crash, this stuff works.

Now…the taste. Let’s just say it’s an acquired one. The blackberry flavor is overshadowed by a strong metallic note—somewhere between licking a battery and drinking carbonated aluminum. Not great, not subtle, and definitely memorable.

Overall, it’s effective but not enjoyable. I’ll keep drinking it when I need energy and don’t care about flavor—but I wouldn’t reach for it if taste mattered. Functional fuel, questionable vibes.

Not bad. Mine came intact as far as packaging and the cans for this order.

If you like things in line with like Bubly, La Croix, etc. you will likely be fine with these as it’s basically essenced. The taste is okay, wish it was just a tad bit stronger—I prefer Bubly’s blackberry flavor as far as taste—this ones is okay though. Might try another flavor after I get through this pack. Either way, will likely grow on me.

As far as the “energy” part of the drink, I do feel a bit energized/awake after drinking it. So it seems to work there.

They’re a bit pricey. But so are most energy drinks in the market. Arguably these are a littler cheaper given they are 16 oz cans and most other brands average 12 oz per 4 pack.

Overall it’s great for an option if you don’t want artificial sweetners which seems to be rare to find as far as energy drinks go. I’d say that was the main selling point for me.

The best clean energy drink on the market! They discontinued my favorite flavor, which was peach, but watermelon mint is great, too. It’s available at Whole Foods for those looking for an in-person purchase place.
