I have 2 small mixed breed dogs that I wanted to get regulated on a good quality food but they tend to eat anything for a few days and then refuse it forever after. I had to play around a little with it but found that adding 1 TBSP hot water plus a tsp of wet cat food to 1/4 cup of Hill’s has done the trick consistently! They both eat it to the last kibble and their poop has been small, moist, formed and easy to scoop.

A dog seemed to like this brand remember put it in the freezer for at least 48 hours to kill anything that might be hanging out inside your dog food. I like this dog food, especially if I don’t give our dogs treats they go to the dog food instead of ignoring it it seems to work both our dogs are in their 60s of dog years

Two of my dogs diagnosed with pancreatitis and IBS which seems common in older small dogs. An older dog doesnt need as much protein or fat in their diet as the pancreas had a harder time processing. Vet recommended this food and after 4 days of not eating his regular food, he gulped this food down and became livelier than he was. His poop also solidified. I give this with a probiotic.

I ordered this by mistake. I usually get the Science Diet Healty Mobility for small Adult dogs. My dog likes it but since he is a Senior and not that active I think it is causing him to gain weight. I do like the Science Diet products a lot, especiialy the Healthy Mobility Adult for small dogs that seemed to help his mobility issues so I will need to be more careful ordering in teh future.

My picky 15 year old pomchi eats this right up. Her teeth are bad and makes it difficult to eat most dog food, but has no problem with the size or texture of this. She also seems to have some more pep in her step, so to say. I will be purchasing this again. And like any food change, make sure to mix with a bit of your pups old food while transitioning. I messed up and didnt transition like I should have and she had diarrhea for a couple of days, but adjusted smoothly after that!

I did some research and switched to this brand/type and it’s been four months and she just tested negative for urinary crystals. Since it’s linked to diet and balancing the pH levels, I think this food really helped. It was a great alternative for us.
She also went on a kibble strike for months. And once we switched to this. She ate it no problem.

Awesome food. Very simple ingredients but has the extra nutrients you senior pup needs. I add in a few bits of cooked chicken breast, a tiny bit of water, toss in the microwave for 8 seconds and my little gobbler eats it all regaining her membership in the clean plate club!
