The pillows seem to be good quality, but they are very very soft. There isn’t a ton of extra filling to add to make them more firm. This would be great for people who like soft pillows, but if you’re looking for an actually firm pillow then this is not the one for you. I’m going to try to buy additional filling, but they don’t seem to sell that from this company so I have to look elsewhere which seems to be at least $17 or so for the same amount of filling which is a bummer. Might end up returning instead

I’ve purchased a few pillows now trying to find the right one and I definitely like this one because you can adjust the height. It’s well made and you can adjust the firmness of it easily by simply unzipping the pillow itself and removing or adding filling. It comes with a bag of extra fill too. It has a nice cover that you can wash. I don’t remember there being any sort of offensive smell to it, but I think I left it outside overnight on the front porch swing to air out….which I would have done either way. Nice pillow.

This is a good quality pillow. My husband always gets hot and has to constantly turn his pillow over, no matter what it’s made of- down, synthetic.. Even with 100% 800 TC cotton pillow cases, same deal. When I got him this, he said he really liked it. We weren’t sure if you were supposed to sleep on the special case to have the cooling effect (with the mesh sides, etc.) or if it would still be as cool with a pillow case over it. He testified that it didn’t really matter. Kept saying he liked it, but after about two weeks asked me for a different pillow 🙁 I took the thing and slept on it myself. Tried it with the cover it came with- and it was hot and sweaty. Tried it with a cotton pillowcase, no change. I’ve come to realize he found out what I paid for it, and didn’t want to hurt my feelings… So, we are stuck with it now. It is comfy and I really like the high-quality fill and the fact that it’s easy to adjust the amount of filling you have in it depending on if you are a back or side-sleeper. But the cooling effect was what we were really after, and sadly, that was a bust. I have a feeling you can probably find a similar “regular” pillow that won’t have this high of a price tag…

These are nice & big! Don’t be fooled by the way these pillows are packaged. I had a good feeling about them just judging by how heavy the box was. After cutting all then plastic off carefully, the pillows puffed up thick! Firm but squishy! The instructions said you can put in he dryer but I didn’t think that was necessary. I also didn’t smell much of anything as far as the “chemical” smell some reviews started. I just sprayed some febreeze and let them dry fully before putting pillow cases on them. They are perfect so far and it’s only been a few days. I didn’t need to add or take away and stuffing they were just right. And like that if they do start getting “flat” I can add more foam stuffing. Honestly these are probly up there with my top 10 purchases from Amazon. I am a side sleeper and and so stoked I finally found some pillows I LOVE! I’m going to order some for my kids now too 🙂

I’ve had this pill for a few weeks now and it works wonders. I am a paraplegic. You can have a lot of neck problems. I love the fact that this pillow is adjustable. I immediately saw it was too stuffy and took a bunch out. It works perfect so glad I didn’t spend money on a $200 purple pillow.
I read a lot of reviews and there were a lot of complaints about the odor. Mine did smell funny when it came out of the box. I immediately threw it in the dryer with a few bounce fabric sheets came out smelling fine.
Pillows are a very individual thing, but I think for 40 bucks this pillow is worth a try. I’m really enjoying mine about one of those silk pillowcases to go over it and it sleeps cool and comfortable. Best wishes in your search for the right pillow.

I have chronic neck pain. I am forever buying new pillows. Sometimes I think I found the perfect pillow but then three months later they’re losing their loft. I thought I would give these pillows to try since the stuffing is removable. Now these pillows are really oversized. To the point where I thought that they had sent me king-size pillows but I double checked the packaging and they were Queen. I ended up having to buy king-size pillowcases for them because they just barely fit in the queen size and the pillowcases would always end up pulling back from the edge. So that’s a negative one star there. Now I’ve been sleeping on these pillows for a while and they have held up well. I did end up removing some of the stuffing because it was just too much. I’m a side sleeper and when I use this pillow, it does a good job of keeping my neck in alignment. However, the pillow tends to migrate up as I sleep. Or I tend to slip down off the pillow, either or. So that’s why I’ve removed a second star. Maybe if I removed more stuffing that wouldn’t happen, but then I feel like the loft would be too little. I will say that these provide great support when sitting up in bed reading or watching TV. So would I buy them again? Probably not. Am I going to keep using them? Yes

I purchased this pillow specifically for its customizable fill feature, which allows you to add or remove stuffing to suit your personal comfort needs. Due to the unique curvature of my cervical spine—forward at the neck rather than backward—I require a soft, semi-flat pillow rather than one that is thick or firm. Additionally, I often experience ear discomfort by morning, so a gentler surface is essential.
Upon adjusting the fill, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of stuffing included. There was enough to fill an additional pillowcase, and I estimate it could easily create four to five more pillows. The ability to modify the pillow’s firmness at any time is an outstanding feature that makes it adaptable for a wide range of preferences and sleep styles.

I really like this pillow. I am a side and back sleeper, so I like that the cover has a sort of gusset on each side and not in the middle. Gives more support when I am on my side, and doesn’t hurt my neck when I am on my back. The filling is good quality, and clean (if you know what I mean). No weird colors or bits of anything in the filling, just soft and gives a consistent supportive cushy feeling. I have tried other shredded foam pillows that had poor quality filling …seemed to be just regular foam with harder pieces mixed in etc. Just didn’t feel great, or look like quality filling. I haven’t used this long, but so far it has helped the neck pain that the last pillow seemed to cause. I have tried so many pillows and this one is a stand out. I would recommend this. Good quality at a great price. 🙂
p.s. There is a slight smell when you take this pillow out of the package. After washing the cover and throwing the pillow in the dryer, with a dryer sheet, for a few mins it was no longer noticeable. I’m sure just letting the pillow air out for a day or two would accomplish the same.

Got a set of these for my wife and myself as we were struggling with our old pillows. These have some really good qualities and some things we’d like to see changed.
First, the good: These are look and feel like they are high quality and made with good materials. The foam itself has a very nice feel to it. We love the fact they are adjustable to add or remove foam. They come with a pretty substantial amount already in the pillow. We appreciate the CertiPur certification.
Now the improvements or changes we’d like to see: The foam, while feeling great, doesn’t bounce back well if you scrunch your pillows, and so every day you have to fluff and reshape the pillow, moreso than some other memory foam pillows we’ve owned. One side of the pillow is cooled and you can feel that even through the pillow case, and that’s a great thing. However, one side is not cooled and we’d have preferred if both sides were made of the cooling material.
Overall, these are good pillows and we are not disappointed with the purchase. They are not, however, our perfect pillows (which do seem hard to find), and at some point in the future will probably make their way to the guest bedroom. We would rate them as some of the better pillows we’ve tried and feel most people would probably like them.
