It’s a white noise machine. It has so many white noise sounds I can’t believe it. The sounds are clear too. It’s easy to set, remembers your last setting when it’s off, and has a timer that lets you set it up for one, two, or three hours of mental relaxation. Awesome. Perfect design.

There is nothing I dislike about this noice machine. I am a nurse working a mixture of night shifts and day shifts with no consistency. I need a fan running in my room at all times but it wasn’t enough to drown out the noise in the house. The fact I can crank the volume on this machine (and it is LOUD) and have an option of fan noises among many other options is perfect for my needs. And to top it off it’s decorative to boot! It saves from my last settings so there’s no need to take the time to adjust to my preference. Just turn it on and either crank or lower the volume to my needs. Anyone who works shift work and is easily woken and struggles to stay asleep, this machine with a sleep mask will be your saving grace!

We have bought two of these now, we keep them on during the day for our boys’ naps. I love the size of it and how many options there are for songs, noise, sounds, volume control and lights. It’s a great sound machine, we haven’t had any issues and we’ve been using this daily since our boys came home from the nicu in June.

I love this thing. It works great, can turn up loud, and has great options for the various sounds. I like brown noise and this one is great.

This machine is great. So many different sounds. I like the timer so I can set it for an hour or two as I have trouble falling asleep not staying asleep so I don’t need it running all night. My spouse said they didn’t even realize it was on so that was a big bonus. I also like that the controls are tilted so it is very easy to turn on or change sounds in bed. It is also very compact so you can easily travel with it and the wood finish is a nice touch, looks very stylish in the room.

I bought this so I don’t have to use my hone at night and I love the sounds. Has different volumes and sounds. Very easy to use. I have it plugged in, so don’t use the battery and bought it to use at home. I’ve had it a little over a month and happy with the quality – easy to use. I think even my dogs like it!
Galactickim –
So far so good. Used it for the first time last night, so can’t comment on longevity, but sound quality and volume are great for the price, and there are some good sounds to choose from. I decided to try to use this instead of earplugs as I have tinnitus.
I will only ever use nature sounds for myself. Fan noises are torturous to me, and in the nature sounds are dripping water and a ticking clock – NO NO NO. LOL. So there are some sounds that I’d find traumatic in there, but the few that I do like sound great. I used the rain sound last night. Might try ocean, crickets, or the creek as well.

Unfortunately my wife has just come down with a medical condition related to tinnitus. Among other things, this problem has ruined her sleep, causing her to awaken several times a night and then having difficulty falling back to sleep.
She saw a neurologist who suggested, in addition to being tested in the next week or so, she should get a white noise machine.
We came home from the neurologist’s office and immediately began looking here on Amazon. I looked (on my computer) and she looked (on hers). I had picked about six of them, including this one but she picked this one only. She said that this is just what she wanted. It does not have a nightlight, which we do not need or want, and its wood-grain design is very nice and fits well into our bedroom.
I immediately ordered it (around 4:00 PM) and, with Amazon’s amazing shipping, it arrived around 8:00 PM that evening!
We have now used it for two nights running, leaving it on all night. Her preferred setting is White Noise, Lowest Setting with a fairly high volume level.
It has been helping her. She has been able to sleep for a much longer period of time and, when she does awaken, this machine overcomes the tinnitus-type problem.
I had thought that having this white noise throughout the night would interrupt my own sleep but such has not been the case.
The device appears to be very well-constructed of high quality materials and its design is superb. I do not know if the case is actually constructed from wood but, if it’s not, it’s the best simulated wood I have ever seen or felt.
We are both very pleased with this device. There are two recommendations I could make to the manufacturer: 1) I wish its auto-off timer had options of 2 hours, 4 hours, and 6 hours, instead of 1, 2, or 3 hours (though we have been leaving it on all night – I just turn it off manually in the morning when we wake up), and 2) I wish its power input port were a standard USB C port rather than the non-standard one it uses; the port it uses would make replacing the cord, were it ever necessary, to be very difficult.
However, regarding the last suggestion, the included power cord seems to be very robust and, as we take good care of our devices, I am sure that the cord will last for the life of the machine (which I hope is a very long time).
I especially like the fact that it runs solely on AC power and has no built-in non-replaceable battery. (When those batteries “die” in some device – and they WILL die eventually – that’s the end of the device, even if it is still working well.)
Not that this attribute is too important to us, but this machine has many more (and many more good) sound options than any of the others at which I looked. (Of course the one we use is my wife’s pick.)
As I mentioned above, we are very pleased with this white noise machine and I will VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT to you.
Especially at its price, just $26.99, Amazon’s current price, I regard this machine as a genuine bargain.
If you need or just want a well-made and well-designed white noise machine, I hope you’ll consider this one. I am certain that you’ll be just as pleased with yours as we are with ours.
Thank you very much for reading my report and for considering my opinions.

After visiting a dermatologist with my mom, I heard ocean waves in the background. It was so soothing. The Nurse mentioned they have them in all the rooms. It lowers blood pressure, anxiety, etc. I bought this one and listen to waves, rain, thunder, howling wind, fan noise, birds, etc… Great machine. So reasonably priced and looks nice anywhere you put it.
Duncan from Canada –
I bought this sound machine because I saw comments about its power, the diversity of sounds, and the good quality of the sounds. All of this has been true for me. However, I only listen to more typical “white-noise machine” sounds (the flowing stream sound is my favourite). Some of the sounds, while good quality, are unpleasant or just weird for such machine. Still, I’m keeping it: really solid build, good quality, compact, and the sounds are definitely higher quality than cheaper machines.

Very aesthetically pleasing! Great quality! All sounds are very clear and real. Would definitely recommend. Great for a white elephant gift.
dragon6473 –
I bought it because our baby’s room needed something steady to mask creaks and street noise, and I wanted something unobtrusive that wouldn’t wake the whole house. A simple device with a few reliable sounds seemed ideal for helping everyone drift off without drama.
In everyday use the sound stays nicely intimate thanks to the forward facing speaker, so I can hear the details at a low volume without blasting the room. The 31 real sounds give me a few comfortable options like rain or gentle ocean, and the volume fades quietly so there are no jarring jumps as I fall asleep or wake in the night. The timer options are convenient, and I like that it can run until morning if needed without me having to reset it.
What stood out most is the look. The wood texture and soft curves make it feel calmer on the nightstand than plain white plastic, and the tilt design keeps adjustments easy without having to fumble in the dark. The output feels solid enough to feel premium without being loud or disruptive, which is exactly what I want when someone is trying to sleep next to me.
One small caveat is that there are no lights or audible clicks, so in the dark it can be a little tricky to confirm which sound is playing without listening closely or changing settings. Still, the overall experience is very positive and it genuinely helps with sleep, so I’m glad to own it.

The “White Machine” is a reliable, no-frills sound machine designed to create a peaceful environment for sleep or focus. In a market crowded with complex smart devices, this machine stands out for its simplicity and single-minded purpose. If you’re looking for a straightforward device to produce authentic, fan-based white noise without any distracting bells and whistles, this is an excellent, budget-friendly option.

Not knowing what I would like after a lot of shopping I ordered 4 different whoice noise machines this being one of them. The others were the Magicteam with 40 sounds (#1), The more compact magicteam with 20 sounds (#2) and the DreamSky with 26 sounds (#3). All were decent but I’d rank this one 4th place of the 4. I hate the white power cord. I mean you have a black face and a white cord ? It’s a nit picky thing I know. The sound selection was OK and the sound quality I’d say middle of the road for the ones I bought. Not the best of them for sure. And in spite of that this was the most expensive so it was also easily last in value. It was also the only one that did not come with a printed list of the sounds. A minor annoyance. The controls are easy enough (as were they all) that you don’t need instructions. But a sound list for what is linked to each of the category buttons would be nice so you are not left randomly flitting through them. And there is overlap with the categories as far as I could tell. I’ve run 3 machines at a time at times and I put this one on the far side of the room from my bed turned down very low. Most of the time I just don’t bother with it since I have better ones. All in all I would NOT buy this one again knowing what I know now about what I like best. It’s not that it is bad. But you can get better ones for less money.

I’m all about water sounds & I was able to find one I liked. I’ll likely never change it to any of the other options because it works well to help me get to sleep (I have tinnitus & an anxious mind). It’s much better than the one I’m replacing it with.
Likes:
– clear sound
– I wasn’t able to detect a loop in sound
– 3 different timer options: 1hr/2hr/3hr or constant play
– remembers last settings used
– automatically shuts off once timer is up
– can be used for just light, just sound, or both
– found 1 sound that makes me happy, relaxed, & puts me to sleep
– the turquoise blue light option is like light therapy… it makes me smile (& relaxed) because it reminds me of a childhood toy. I put it on while I’m getting ready for bed. Don’t underestimate the power of color. I almost didn’t go with this one because I didn’t think I’d use the light at all.
– it’s made of plastic, but it doesn’t look or feel cheap like some of the other products on here
Dislikes:
– lowest volume setting isn’t low enough. I have it set on the lowest volume and the machine sits below the top of my mattress because my night stand is low, but I still have to face the speaker away from me and piled up some socks in front of it to reduce the volume to a more suitable level for me.
– breathing light option was hard to get into sync with & it’s not something I’d use to fall asleep with because the brightness is enough to distract me from sleeping unless I was dead tired… I’m the type of person that has electrical tape on the appliance clocks because they shine into my bedroom. Could be useful if I wanted to try meditating though…
– because it’s USB + wall adapter (included), the plug sticks out further than just a regular one would & I had to move my dresser to accommodate

Best purchase ever!! This has been a game changer for my quality of sleeping and drowning out the sounds of noisy neighbors!
I have it set on the sound of rain. So calming.
10/10
SUZANNA R. –
This sound machine is precisely perfect, serves with my sleep issues, has multi sounds, volume controls and can be set on a timer for 1, 2, 3 hours or set for continuous sounds without sleep interruption!
My favorites are the waterfall and ocean waves! Excellent product so I purchased a 2nd one! Small enough to travel with, comes with slim cord and block for charging. Perfect and a great investment for a very inexpensive price! Highly recommend!
Keith Aday –
If you need background noise while sleeping, this is a great product. There are several sound options, though it can be a little hard to tell which noises work best for you without hearing this in person. This particular unit didn’t have the exact sound or light we prefer, but it still works well and is exactly as described. Fast shipping and overall a great product
amxcoder –
We normally use our windows air conditioner for a background noise to drown out barking dogs etc. I just did not want to do this again all winter when we need no cooling. This device has a fan noise position to select. It sounds almost exactly like our air conditioner sounds. We are used to that sound and it works very well. It also has enough volume. Most of these devices have very poor devices and I wound up throwing one away because it could not be turned up. This device is not even run at full volume. I strongly recommend this device to drown out noise that might wake you up. It is also a noise for us that we are very used to hearing. This was a great buy. If I could change anything about it that would be to put it have this built in a basic square box to facilitate easy mounting and stacking something on top of it. A very small criticism.
Jake Darwin –
This is the best white noise machine I have ever had. It has so many sounds. I switched it every night. I got this last month for Christmas and I still haven’t gotten through all the sounds. I encourage you to buy this nice cost affordable, but higher quality than the one that might be in like your kids bedroom.
Louis-Philippe Ruel –
Very nice product. A lot of various sounds and easy to use. Volume is strong enough and the product is estheticly pleasing.
Douglas R. Turner –
Fantastic white noise machine. It has other sounds like rain or my favorite, a babbling brook. Helps me get to sleep if I have to get up at night. Many different sound options.
Keke S –
Absolutely love this noise machine! The sound quality is great, and it’s small enough to travel with easily. We loved it so much that I ended up getting one for each of my kids so everyone can sleep soundly. Highly recommend!
ChronoChris –
Very happy with this little product. It’s unobtrusive, sheds no light when sleeping and the various sounds are great. I found a fan sound that mimicked the fan I had (which broke, which I only was using for noise) and so this was cheaper to replace and more versatile. It’s small so I can imagine traveling with it, and it maintains the settings (selected sound and volume) after pushing on/off. (I haven’t used the timer feature, but it’s there and I suspect it would work well.)
FreddyMac –
Lots of settings for the sound that works for you. This thing is perfect for drowning out background noise and promotes a great sleep. At least for me
Stacy L. Zimmerman –
Really glad I purchased this! It’s been a great thing to have in the background for sleep and to drown out the sounds of noisey neighbors. It has a nice variety of sounds, and the speaker quality is great. It’s small enough to where it doesn’t take up much space on the nightstand and would be perfect for travel.
Just a note in case it helps anyone : It’s power source is usb cable, so if you want to plug it into a standard outlet make sure you have an adapter for that. Mine didn’t come with one, but I had plenty laying around.
