I was looking for some supplements for immune support so I opted for this one after trying their Vision Care. I normally take one a day but bumped it up to 2 with plenty of water when I was feeling a little under the weather and gotta say it was a pretty speedy recovery!

There is way too much zinc in this product. The requirements say to take one to two capsules per day. I was taking two capsules, which is 50mg of zinc per day. Synthetic zinc accumulates and builds up in the body and can cause all sorts of nasty side effects such as nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhea, lethargy, brain fog, low copper levels, loss of appetite, headaches, dizziness, and lengthy bouts of lightheadedness. All of these symptoms I experienced after taking this supplement for several months. The lightheadedness was especially bad. These symptoms completely went away once I stopped taking zinc. I would recommend getting zinc from natural sources such as pumpkin seeds.

One thing to note is that these pills are a bit elongated and thus difficult to swallow, so beware for those with sensative gag reflexes. 2 out of 3 adults in my household can take these no problem, so it shouldn’t be an extremely great concern.

I like that 3 different vitamins are combined into one capsule which makes it much simpler to take care of my immune system.
