This tea has a good flavor reminiscent of better quality white teas. What I received appeared to be a lower quality tea , that is a bit stale and contains a lot of stems. It is a good value for the weight and flavor.

Quality seems good. I cold brew 2 cups in a mason jar at a time.

I wanted an alternative to green and black tea that was a little more subtle in flavor and lower in caffeine content. I have only brewed this iced and mixed with some herbal tea such as peach or raspberry and the taste is perfect. So refreshing and the 1 lb bag at this price was well worth it. Would probably last into next summer if stored properly. Highly recommend!

Peony tea is versatile and very good hot tea and excellent for an iced tea. I also brew in as a sun tea. I tea strainer of my tea pot and glass 2 pint jars make brewing easier to get the full flavor without over boiling my tea. I routine many teas. Peony tea also mixed well when brewed with a green tea or black tea. For the delicacy and clarity, I really like Peony tea. It also does like give me heartburn.

This white tea is fabulous and at a great price.

I’ve switched to loose tea, and I love the products from this company. I enjoy starting my day with one or two cups of white tea. The color gives it the white tea name, and the taste is subtle and pleasant. If you use loose tea and want something low in caffeine, you might try this product.

I had never tried Chun Mee so this was a gamble, but I didn’t care for it. Tasted grassy and funky even after brewing with the correct temp and steep time. If you want a lighter, less earthy flavor, try the sencha from this brand- much better!
Jojo –
If you want a lot of green tea on a budget, and don’t consider yourself a tea connoisseur, this sencha is well worth it.
Two caveats:
1. Brew it with 180 degree water, not boiling. If you use boiling, it will taste like grass.
2. It takes a lot of sencha (volume-wise) to brew a cup, let alone 64oz like I do. If you want better value, you may want to try a different green tea.

I’m a big fan of herbal teas and make my own. At times I want to add a little something more to them but I’m not crazy about green or black teas. I decided to try white tea and so glad I purchased this. First of all what a value! Very good quality, the package seals well (if you are going to keep it in the original package). The flavor is wonderful! No bitterness, smooth and light. Perfect addition to herbal or fruit teas or lovely just on its own!

Fantastic tea. The aroma and flavor is amazing. I combine with equal parts lemongrass and mint tea for a delicious and healthy morning tea.

Too my pleasant surprise, this is not more work to use than tea bags – it’s less. Electric kettles with a sieve make bulk tea easy to use. I don’t even take out the used tea every time. I just add more and more water and brew the next batch until it gets too full, then I dump and rinse it out. That might not work if you don’t make it every day, but it works for me. I switched to this to get away from the plastic (hence microplastics) in bagged tea, and now I kick myself for not switching sooner. I suggest taking out of the bag in putting it in a rigid, preferably non-plastic container, because flexing of the inner plastic wall probably sheds microplastics into the tea. These are great for the purpose: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7Z883TM

DO NOT BUY IF YOU EXPECT GREEN TEA
this tea is brown, full of stems, smells terrible, brews dark, tastes bitter and horrible at the same time, like dirt and poo

So with this one honestly worth every single penny its solid quality tea I do the gongfu style so smaller steeps and this tea has incredible longevity lasting close to 9 steeps which in incredible for green tea the flavor is smooth as hell deep and fresh flavor remember everyone to keep it sealed and take the air out of it if you can it’ll last longer that way I actually put mine in the freezer until I do a session it’s amazing though I highly recommend it for anyone who wants quality tea
S Etoile –
Pretty darn gross. Does not taste clean, tastes soapy, is dark and marks my mouth salivate. Sadly I have to throw out this 1lb package. I have never tasted such gross tea.

This is excellent tea, excellent quality and is not bitter
