So i did not expect this to be so good! It’s fresh good aroma and smooth. It is a little pale in color but I just want to stretch it out as much as I can and get the best value for my money. So it’s a very refreshing drink.

I purchased this back in January 2024 which is around the same time some other negative reviews were posted. Maybe I received a ‘bad batch’ as others have complained.
Unfortunately I didn’t like this tea at all. I have had genmaicha green tea before in a restaurant and it was delicious! Earthy, nutty, buttery. The tea that I received tasted burnt and sour. I only steeped it for about 30 seconds as the packaging instructed. I’m not sure if the tea I received was maybe old or had gone off. I’ve also seen discussions online where people attribute the bad taste to your water supply which could be the case as I used tap.
I would like to try this again to see if I truly did receive an off quality batch, but wish there was a smaller size I could order.
