This actually works really well- even better than expected. It’s thinner than nail polish and goes on in a thin, even coat. It dried invisibly and has a slight transparent shine to it. There’s no real smell and it dries fairly quickly. I used a thin coat of this on a ring I have that tends to tarnish very easily, and it has maintained it’s shine for several days now.
This is a good cost-effective way to seal some of my less expensive costume jewelry and keep it looking new for longer.

Doesn’t work started peeling off shortly after I applied it

I thought this would be a permanent solution but I need to remember to reapply every few months. It’s no big deal but I have used protective spray before that only needs to be retouched once a year. My jewelry hasn’t tarnished yet (cheapo brand of bracelets) but it was a little annoying to apply and let dry. There’s no smell though which is great.
