Especially for items that are intended for a specific event or outing, such as this shirt, and the XL is skin tight on me. Do not support this shop or order their products.

I Love this shirt, even its material feels authentic, somehow light and heavy lol almost scratchy but not, Feel like a real Peasant LOL but seriously great shirt, love the front lace tie just adds a flavor to the look NO ONE else is rocking. almost a maturity to it. I use it with my Minister shirt!

I would suggest you size up as this does run small for each size. The cotton fabric is nice a sturdy, it would be good to wear in layering or alone in warm weather. Fair warning is that it leaves little for form flexing so if you want it to fit properly definitely go a size or 2 up.

Spent the weekend at the Renaissance Faire in this and, in my honest opinion, it’s quite comfortable and lightweight. Good for being out in the sun. It is that cheap mix material, but for the price I can’t complain too much. Good fit, I wear a size large and it was close to true to size. Just a little more snug than I would have liked.

These shirts shrink bad once washed. I advise not to dry in heat, I would hang it up to dry.

The material simulates a textured unfinished linen. The drawstrings are uncapped with a well used look. Note they will fray so use a fray check on the ends. I used this for my D&D Ranger cosplay at the session table so authenticity wasn’t much an issue for me. The material is thin and it does not stand up well to sweat … wear a similar color T-shirt underneath. For my game play, it works well. For Ren Faire enthusiasts … You may want a better quality shirt that can stand up to sweat. Sizes run small … An XL is really just L.

Overall this is a good shirt but the fabric has no give.
By a size larger than you think you need. Especially if you have broad shoulders or a larger chest.
The shoulders is where this one got me. it fit me fine in the chest and gut area but the shirt was very tight in the shoulder area.

It runs small, but the material is linen I think , it would be cool in the summer. I had gotten this for my husband , who has lost a lot of weight from essential tremor medication. Made him anorexic. Anyhow it doesn’t fit him , but too much trouble to return, I’ll just pass it on to someone who needs a shirt . I cannot say it is soft , maybe with more washings and softener , but what can u expect from linen.
