This was recommended by my wife’s wound care nurse, we got it maybe two weeks ago and there’s already a huge increase with her healing, it’s kind of spendy but worth it. The only draw back is she says it tastes absolutely horrible.

I’ve taken this product for both of my last surgeries and I do have to say while the price is very high for my budget, it really works. I see the collagen working very well, even my nails begin to grow and stay strong. My healing process improves while I’m home recovering. The taste is great. It makes me also use the restroom very smoothly. LOL

Great product! I’m going in for a knee replacement and this product was recommended to me by a medical professional. They give it to people getting surgery. It is easy to use. I put a little water in a glass, pour in the powder and mix well. Add more water and drink. Tastes good!

Had surgery and my stomach split open, So this actually helped speed up the healing process! I suggest fruit punch.It’s a very pink color but it is delicious.The orange is a little weird but can’t go wrong with either one! Really does work to help heal you up quicker But you should take two a day, at least!

To be very honest, the first 2 days of drinking the orange flavor I gagged a few times trying to choke it down. I decided to pour the powder (with a funnel) into a 16.9 oz bottle of water (8 oz of water at a time) and shake it up really well- then put the bottle into the freezer for 2 hours to turn it into a slushy, and use a smoothie straw to drink it. I actually look forward to drinking them now- but there’s no way I could drink it in 8 oz of water.
Now, for the results. Absolutely amazing, after only 1 week! It started off as a small, shallow ulcer on my big toe and after 1 week I developed a large pressure blister that opened the same day. That’s when the wound care nurse suggested the Juven and gave me a $20 coupon for it. The ulcer is closed and the open blister that was the size of a silver dollar has now closed up to half the size of a dime in 1 week. I know the collagen pad applied directly to it has helped but I credit Juven with accelerating the healing!

I needed a knee surgery, I am also struggling with celiac issues so this product combined well with my other powder medicine and made it more manageable and effective. I keep ordering it because of this reason and it makes me feel better overall. Every time I see someone they say that they are amazed at how well I’m doing post-operatively. If you are looking at a surgical procedure, why wouldn’t you want to heal yourself with everything at your disposal.

I had surgery in July 2025. A few weeks later we noticed a small area was closed but the ‘bed’ (my doctor’s term for the bottom layers of the skin) was not healing. We tried different methods to promote the healing of that area to no avail including a wet to dry bandage. In September we decided to do a debridement. After the debridement, it looked as if it was healing well. Approximately three weeks later, it became infected on the inside which caused it to reopen.
I then went to a wound care clinic. This clinic is part of a major, well known, top rated, specialty hospital that works with high risk patients of which I am a patient. They had me pack the wound with medicated gauze every other day. They also suggested that I drink two packets of Juven daily and eat lots of protein. It has been one month, the wound is now healed. Each staff member who examined me during my visits was convinced that the Juven played a major part of the healing. The difference between my first and second visit was clearly visible and it improved from week to week. They suggested that I continue it for two more weeks but I have been cleared to continue further treatments.
I bought the fruit punch flavor and mixed it with 8 ounces water. The taste was fine for me. I drank it without food, between breakfast and lunch and then between dinner and bedtime. If I have another surgery, my intention will be to use Juven to help the healing process. Pricey? Yes. But we are all worth every penny.

I feel great after surgery following a series of regime: taking my vitamins and supplements for quicker recovery, putting Arnica Cream mixed with Silicone Gel or Cream on my surgery incisions to lower the chance of scars, and added this drink into the mix. The Fruit Punch taste great, no nasty after taste, not sweet and easy to mix. Follow the instructions. I drink this once a day, (after dinner) for the next 2 weeks following surgery. Your body works hard to heal especially while you sleep so I just give it a boost to help it come along.

This just made a huge price jump across all platforms, but I can speak from personal and professional experience when I say that this product, taken twice per day, makes wounds heal faster. I personally prefer the unflavored version, fruit punch is my next favorite, orange is my third. I’m a nurse and use this for my patients with significant wounds to improve their rate of healing and I haven’t had it let me down once. My patients don’t mind the taste and tolerate it well. If you are struggling with a slow healing wound, this is WELL WORTH the cost.

I bought these for my son after he had a toe surgery. Within less than a week, his wound was healed and no pain. Seemed like it scabbed over and started healing within a day or two. A little pricey but totally worth it! Taste is good as well!

This product seems to be working well. I am not a huge fan of the taste as it is all pretty sweet yet also kind of bland? I think if it were a little more tart/sharp I would enjoy drinking it more and would raise the star count. As it is I treat it like I would a glass of Metamucil and just kind of throw it back to get it over with. I would recommend it but with caveats that it is about as tasty as any protein or fiber forward drink.

I recently had surgery and my abdominal incision started getting the dissolvable internal stitches poking through. I guess for some reason, some people’s bodies will reject them and will force them out of the body. When this happened to me I would have openings in my incisions where the stitches were coming through about 1/8 of an inch sometimes a little bigger and they were not healing over even though I’ve kept the wound covered with gauze. I had read on Reddit that some surgeons had suggested the Juven powder drink to help in healing so I thought I’d try it. After the first week, it had started to heal and by the time I had finished the second package it was completely healed.
I purchased the pineapple coconut and after mixing it up in a cup I added enough water to equal about 12 oz and then I added a lot of ice and stirred it up and drank this throughout the day and then in the late afternoon I whipped up another one and drank it so I would get the full daily dose as suggested by the manufacturer. Adding the extra water helped the taste for me and I didn’t mind it at all. In fact I kind of missed it now that it’s all gone but it’s so expensive that I can’t afford to buy more. I would just drink it for health if I could afford it.
Come on Abbott, reduce the price so more people can afford this. Most people in the United States are already suffering financially, we should be able to afford something that aids in our health without breaking the bank.

Recently had brachioplasty surgery and read taking this postop helps with healing. I take the recommend twice a day. I seem to be healing good. I read the other flavors tastes gross except this, and it tastes pretty good. Only thing is a box is 30 packs, so taking 2x a day makes it run out fast. But I think ur only suppose to take it for a few weeks anyway. Im irding another box so I can get a few more weeks out if it. It is very expensive. I used a 20 off coupon which help, but still expensive either way.

not sure if these really helped, but psychologically, felt like I was doing something and dr. recommended. The plain drink tastes terrible. I added mio type water flavor enhancer to make it tolerable, so in doing this you can make it any flavor you want. I prefer the orange flavored, while slightly more expensive, tastes much better.
