I wanted to compare the heat retention in this vs the Joco cup of the same tier. the heat retention was good. I measured it using a cooking thermometer and i measured at 10 minute intervals for 40 minutes. The retention is not bad at all.

I love clear glass coffee mugs. If you have tried coffee out of one of these before, you know what I am talking about. Also, the lid is one of the best designs I have used. First of all, there is very little taste. One thing that bothers me about plastic or silicone lids is the taste, and this doesn’t have a taste at all. It is water proof and simple making it easy to clean. I would love to replace all of my travel lids with this design. It is mildly inconvenient to have to hand wash the cup, so if that is something that bothers you, there are keepcups without the cork, but the cork is cute imo. I have another keepcup that is plastic insulated that I do not like as much because there are too many parts to clean. This one is nice, simple, and I like the design of the lid.

Klar ist er nicht auslaufsicher, aber es ist unglaublich angenehm, aus dem Aufsatz zu trinken (egal ob zu Hause oder von unterwegs). Zudem lässt er sich gut verschließen, wenn man ihn unterwegs in der Hand hält oder nach dem Trinken in der Tasche verstauen möchte. Auch dann kommen die letzten kleinen Tropfen idR nicht raus. Der KeepCup (egal aus Kork oder insulated/aus Edelstahl) nach wie vor mein Lieblingsbecher. 🙂

I bought the 16 oz model. The lid does leak a little while taking a sip sometimes but often it’s just because I haven’t got it on properly or I haven’t wiped it down well. It happens more often with coffee than water (which I use it for the rest of the time) which is no worse than the paper cups with plastic lids from my favorite coffee shop so it’s hardly a problem for me at all. I love the overall shape and feel of it. It’s lead free which is mainly what I wanted it for. To insulate it a bit more I got a 50 cent tumbler from Walmart, put a knitted cozy around the glass and it fit snugly inside right up against the cork. If ever the cork wears out I can just buy a new cork ring or put a longer cozy on the glass and snug it all the way in (it’s an 18 oz tumbler.) I slapped a redbubble sticker on it and it’s my favorite travel cup! Most satisfied.

the top of the cup has a removable piece where you can either move it so you have access to the sip spout, remove it so you can insert a straw in the middle, or cover BOTH to make it travel friendly!! (probably not completely leak proof but won’t spill with this option) versatile cup. looks well made, sturdy, good size.

I hardly do reviews but had to for this one… It’s the perfect office tea glass. Some complain about the position of cork band but I find it perfectly placed with middle, ring, and thumb placed on cork with index finger place on lid… Comfortable and no hot surface to skin. Ease of clean is a plus. No spill or leak so far. Overall a good purchase.

This cup is, first and foremost, very beautiful. Although this might seem unimportant, it makes drinking out of it much more enjoyable, and I remember to buy drinks in it more often (at least before COVID happened). I also like that, if you remove the plug, there’s a hole big enough to insert a boba straw (which again lends itself to the “getting take-out beverages in it”), which is actually the main reason why I chose to buy this against its competitors. I also like that it is easy to repair, as Keep Cup sells the different parts on its website to prolong its lifespan. In terms of ethics, I like that Keep Cup is both a B Corp and part of 1% for the Planet.
There are quite a few shortcomings in terms of functionality, but they don’t bother me personally. If you care about any of the listed below, you should not buy this cup:
– not thermally insulated, loses heat similarly to a ceramic mug
– is a bit heavy
– is also not super durable, since it’s made of glass (I have been very careful to not drop it)
– is NOT leak-proof, and will leak if the cup is placed on its side
– the lid is a bit difficult to take off (would not recommend taking the lid off while there’s a beverage inside as it would cause the liquid to splash)
– must be hand-washed (DO NOT REMOVE THE CORK. In the beginning, whenever I washed the cup, I noticed that the cork would slip off. However, as time progressed, the cork band began to tighten)
– the cork band is a little higher than where the hand would naturally rest (not conducive if you plan on drinking a lot of hot drinks)
Overall, I have enjoyed my experience using the cup but I can see how its limited functionality could be a deal breaker to some.

As a frequent coffee/tea drinker, these are by far my favorite travel cup design. The glass helps avoid the metallic taste you get from most traditional travel mugs when transporting hot beverages. Glass also lets the drink cool off a little bit so you avoid burning your tongue, and it’s great for cold drinks as well. I’ve been using these for years and have only had one break on me when I dropped it on concrete. I usually prefer the 16 ounce, but the 12 ounce is great for cappuccinos!

This is definitely for the aesthetic girls who like a neutral kind of coffee mug or coffee cup that goes with all of your outfits for on the go. I’ve only used this once so I can’t talk about durability just yet but so far so good. I appreciate the cork sleeve on the cup because the glass does get really hot so you definitely have to hold the glass around the cork. I love the look overall. The lid snaps on vs an screw top. I put some tea in here and so far so good.

I really do love this cup. Was turned to it by Lead Free Mama. The cork ring lets you hold onto the cup without having to touch the glass and get hot or cold or wet. The lid has a closure that works well, I’ve dropped it a few times and it doesn’t spill with the thing closed, also pretty durable. But please make sure the lid is on all the way. I went to pick it up in the car and only grabbed the lid and it wasn’t secure and spilled everywhere. Also, it says not to remove the cork ring, but if water gets trapped under there it can start growing green mold. It can get damp and be ok, and if you do have to remove it to clean the ring and under it, I found it’s easier if it’s damp, to come off or go back on. It is a cup made for someone who is willing to spend that little extra time on it, but worth it imo. It is not an insulated cup tho. It will not keep your drink same temp. I drink iced lattes and don’t mind if the ice melts before I finish it.

I really wanted to like this cup, but the lid is terrible.
The opening to drink from is too small, so it’s like I’m pouring coffee in my mouth instead of drinking it.
The plastic smells awful, even after soaking in white vinegar and running through the dishwasher.
I tried using it without the lid, but it easily knocked over and spilled coffee everywhere.
I’d recommend skipping this one.

I love this cup. Like all travel cups, it drips onto your shirt when you sip, so it’s best to use the top for when you’re moving around and then take it off to actually sip. I LOVE the cork thing, which I also use for regular glasses if I want to put hot liquid in a regular glass.

So far so good. I use it for boiling hot coffee 100 c. 212 f for muricans. Nothing happened so far. Doesn’t affect the taste which is what is good about glass. Very easy to clean just be cautious with the brown holder. I get a lot of compliments at work related to the cup.

This is a good coffee cup for the car. The handless design allows the cup to fit snuggly into the car cup holder. The glass material does not affect coffee taste. It is expensive but so far the cup has met my expectations.
