I have my unit on my nightstand in a shallow ceramic oval bowl – which gives it an even richer, amplified sound (see photo).
My only gripe is that the interface to the various sounds provided is limited, and the way to activate them is a bit confusing – for me it’s not intuitive.
So far I’ve been lucky – I’ve managed to hit sound sequences that have lulled me to sleep within a couple minutes.
For that alone this unit is worth its weight in gold.

This product produces a very nice Tibetan bowl sound, makes a nice background sound for meditation. Docked one star because it needs to be plugged in to work. The NOIT Tibetan sing bowls machine has a rechargeable battery and sound variety is a little better, but it is hard to find.

It stopped working after 6 months. It was difficult to program and a bit clunky to figure out. Wish I had no spent the money, the cheap one I got from walmart is still going strong.
