Great lip balm however it is a bit overrated. Laniege a well known, popular brand that I like but it is not my favorite brand when it comes to lip products.
The product itself is cute and smells really good. The scent is one of the best things about it, the texture is very thick and velvety but sticky and too thick. It mosturizes my lips to a point but eventually it didn’t make a difference. It may work differently depending on the skin type but it is still a good product I enjoy bringing around with me when I need it.

The blueberry scent is light and sweet, not overpowering at all. My lips stay hydrated for hours, and it layers beautifully over lip liner or on its own for an everyday look. I love this product! Out of all the lip glosses I’ve bought throughout my life, this has been the only lipgloss that doesn’t get stuck to everything it touches. It’s not sticky, it’s hydrating and adds a great glossy pink color to the lips. I got the shade ‘berry’ and it smells great but not in an overwhelming way. Will buy again- in a couple months because a little goes a long way!

I love Laneige products and this lip balm/gloss is such a great go-to! It’s moisturizing, it stays on really well, and it also has a little bit of tint to it. It’s not too much so it will absolutely work for any skin tone, but it gives you just enough to perk up your lips and also give them a nice shine. Great product!

I have used the grapefruit one for years. Never tried the others because it worked. But as ARMY fan from BTS, I saw that JK uses the gummy bear one. I needed one for my car so why not? I love it. I love the formula already for not being sticky, more like slick oil. And the sweet candy smell is good. Is colorless, tasteless to me and it last a decent time like a balm not a big lip gloss. It’s an every day lip product, and I reapply after eating mostly.

Love everything about this lip balm. I put it on at night before I go to sleep and when I wake up my lips feel so soft. I chew my lips alot and this helps so much its like they are renewed overnight. It is the best lip balm I have ever used. Not sticky at all goes on smooth and the vanilla so far is my favorite scent. Its light and smells super yummy! You won’t regret buying, the price is on the more expensive end but mine has lasted me over a year. Definitely worth the splurge.

Definitely my favorite lip gloss to date. It’s a little pricey, but I do have to say, it’s WELL worth it. It’s not sticky in the slightest, just soft and hydrating. The LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm is definitely on the pricey side, but it’s very hydrating and gives a nice shiny finish. It has a pleasant smell, though it can feel a bit sticky at first. The size is perfect for keeping in your purse or even your pocket. Overall, a nice product—part of what you’re paying for is the brand name.

i wish it had more “tea” scent but it does smell like what it is. i dont think it smells like grass or floral at all so i am not sure why this scent has such polarizing reviews. maybe you just have to try it for yourself. to me this smells exactly like the actually boba pearls itself with a hint of powdery slightly lactonic green tea. and no to whoever says it smells like elizabeth arden green tea, u lied and im sad lol. its not overpowering at all so i dont mind it and enjoy it more than other scents ive tried. packaging is cute and small so travel friendly without leakage and i prefer this applicator than the curved ones that are going viral as of late. i hope one day they upgrade to metal applicators.
it has a mute tone to it where it kind of cancels out the redness of lips but it isnt super milky white or green on the lips for me, just a hint of a veil of mute-ness and enhances the color of my natural lips and make them look smoother and almost angelic/baby pink if that makes sense. i think its nice to tone down lip products that might be too bright as a topper because it does have that grey-ish hue. this formula is great as toppers as it doesnt feel / look heavy at all. its thin but its extremely comfortable as it doesnt feel like a lip gloss but more of a liquid lip balm. it doesnt completely fill in the lines of the lips so it doesnt have that feeling of having a thick latex glove feeling covering the lips like some of the peptide lip balms feel. its on the thinner side so it will dissapear quickly but it does leave the lips moisturized and smooth. it isnt super thin where it feels like its dripping down the chin like some other thinner lip balms on the market where its just a greasy mess.
i can tell i like a balm’s formula or not very quickly because for me what matters the most is how “comfortable” they are on the lips. i think laneige has the most comfortable feeling and i can look past on reapplying since it feels really nice going on the lips. as it fades the lips stay hydrated which is very important to me. i dislike applying lip balm or gloss because my lips feel dry throughout the day. this one makes my lips feel naturally hydrated after its faded where i feel i dont need to reapply unless i want my lips to be glossy or have more shine or simply to smell it again. This is the lip gloss balm that i can wear under a mask where it doesnt feel nasty. I have sensory issues with a lot of balms and lip glosses out there and i have to admit laniege has been a favorite and its been a decade of my trying other lip balms and this formula still impresses me.
i hate the greasy “butter” feeling of summer fridays where its like melting butter, its thin in a bad way whereas this one is thin but has some grip. it also isnt thickening like the ole henriksen or eadem. eadem is thick and almost feel like elmer’s glue in a dry gloss way while ole h is goopey syrup-y occlusive if that makes sense. ive also tried others like glossier, experiment, topicals, too faced, dior, chanel, all the drugstore brands, chineses and kbeauty brands, sheglam etc you name it ive tried it and looking at packaging, scent, taste, price per gram and overall comfort and feel i definitely recommend laneige overall.
