This is an amazing eyeliner, the staying power is something else. Lasts all day and doesn’t have the dreaded transfer to your upper lid! I was an Estee eye make up fan but this is my new fave now. Its better and easier applied. Great selection of colours also. I bought the royal quartz colour and it’s beaut. I like.

My eyes/eyelids are pretty sensitive & dry do to long time cytotoxic treatment, however I didn’t experience any iritation wearing this one. It is soft, glides effortlesy, precise lines even my hands are not too steady. No panda eyes even after being out for a stand up comedy show, where i laugh so much that my tummy felt like after first gym session.I did use previously Estee Lauder, for many many years, but I have to say this one is AMAZING. I bought this item last February and I’m still enjoying it, so much I order two more in two different tones this week. The color stays as is, no smudges; the texture is soft and smooth, it applies easily, and in my situation, I don’t need a sharp point because I use it a eye shadow, not as a liner so it’s great as a round tip. It last all day but you see a bit on the crease; it wash fast with Cerave cleanser.

However, it did not go on smoothly as an eyeliner. It left tiny fragments on my eyelashes which then fell into my eye. Should be an eyeshadow rather than eyeliner.

I’m 55 and like a highly pigmented, smooth eyeliner. This is perfect for me. It glides on easily — no starts and stops from dryness. This alone is a game changer from most eyeliners on mature skin, IYKYK. Also, it has staying power and is not quick to transfer. Note that the shape of the pencil means that it does great with a thick line–that’s what I’m going for. Others said it was hard to get a thin line–I haven’t tried, but I could see that being an issue. Love it. Highly recd.

I am torn on how to review this product. The color is amazing. The “stay put” power is amazing. However, it is soooo fat, it is extremely hard to use and it does not sharpen well. Overall I am choosing to throw it away, but if they ever make a slim version, I would buy it again.

After using Laura Geller kohl pencil, I find the Smoky Amethyst to be more brown in color to my eye. I was hoping that when using, the squat point would be helpful (the top of pencil resembles a Hershey kiss). When using on the eyelid, it is too thick and difficult to get a narrower line. I was able to sharpen, but of course, removes a lot of pencil ($$$). It is very creamy and color goes on easily. I do notice some fading after time. I do think this is a nice eyeliner pencil but is not working for me.

Finally! A creamy pencil that can cover my eyelid for the smokey look without being too waxy. It actually goes on as dark as i want. I use a qtip to blend where needed. Got the denim charcoal. I am 78.
