I’ve been using Lavazza Crema e Aroma for a while now, and it’s become my go-to for daily coffee. It’s a medium roast that delivers a really nice balance. Smooth, creamy, and not too bitter. The aroma when you grind the beans is amazingly rich and nutty, with just a hint of chocolate. I love it.
The name “Crema e Aroma” fits perfectly, because it really does produce a beautiful crema, especially when used with an espresso machine. The texture is velvety, and the flavor feels refined compared to most supermarket blends.
That said, if you prefer very strong or dark roasts, this one might feel a little too mild. It’s not as intense or punchy as Lavazza’s darker blends like Super Crema. I’d describe it as more balanced and smooth, which makes it ideal for milk-based drinks like cappuccinos or lattes. However I also like it for a gentle espresso.
It also works great for moka pot, espresso, or fully automatic machines, and the beans grind evenly without clogging the grinder nor feeling oily.
In the end, It’s a high-quality Italian coffee brand that’s easy to drink and consistent every time. Very happy with it, to the point I’ve set it up on subscription so I never run out.

Eric Shields –
Good Coffee. Works well in my breville and isn’t too dark for a smooth latte. I do wish it came in decaf, I don’t need to be jitterbugging all day.
Veldina Abdic –
Smooth tasting cup of tea!

Should absolutely not be advertised as a medium roast. Overroasted, notes of tree bark and dirt. Good if that’s what you’re into
Normand Desparois –
Tastes great.

I’ve tried many espresso beans over the years, but Lavazza Crema e Aroma truly stands out. The roast is perfectly balanced — dark enough to give that deep, bold flavor, yet never bitter or burnt. The aroma fills the kitchen the moment you start grinding, and the crema it produces is consistently thick and velvety.
The flavor profile is rich with hints of chocolate and nuts, ideal for both espresso and cappuccino. It’s also excellent for drip or French press, holding its body and flavor beautifully.
Acidity is low, caffeine content feels moderate but uplifting just enough to energize without the jitters. The freshness of the beans was impressive; you can tell they’re roasted and sealed with care.
Highly recommend for anyone who loves a full-bodied, Italian-style coffee with smooth character and long-lasting taste. Perfect for both home baristas and everyday coffee lovers.
smooth crema, rich aroma,

Always great for Cappacinos and Expresso’s with real Italian coffee. What could be better?

These are the best tasting beans I have ever had! They brew wonderful coffee in a drip pot or percolator. I highly recommend Lavazza!

I’ve been using this Lavazza Crema e Aroma blend for several months, mainly for espresso and cappuccino at home. The beans produce a smooth, balanced shot with low acidity and a reliable crema every time. I like that the flavor stays consistent from bag to bag, which hasn’t always been the case with other brands I’ve tried.
I’ve also tested it with both a manual espresso machine and a super-automatic machine, and it performs well in both. It has a mild sweetness that pairs nicely with milk-based drinks without tasting burnt or bitter.
If you prefer a medium roast that leans smooth rather than strong or smoky, this is a great everyday option. Good quality and very dependable.

Very good, Strong coffee.
I am not of much of a coffee drinker but this coffee is definitely one I could be craving in the morning with a great pick-me-up. I don’t need much of this stuff which is good for me cause 1 bag can last me a while. Whole the price for the quality of coffee you get.
Gadget Guru –
As a coffee drinker, I try different beans, farmers from all over the world and so far I’ve been amazed by the aroma, deep flavor and quality of the coffee beans.
I recommend the seller and the Camera to everyone.
Thank you and Merry Christmas, Happy new Year.

I have tried many of the Lavazza whole bean coffees and this was the least favorite of all of them. The taste was a bit bitter and just seemed “off”. I closed up the bag and went back to Top Class Filtro Whole Bean Coffee. The Lavazza Qualità Oro Whole Bean Blend is also quite good

Very happy with flavor and value. Prefer to grind fresh beans. Value for money is high. Not acidic. Gets me out the door and keeps me going. Something I look fwd to. Grinds easily and stays fresh. Size of bag stays fresh for two coffee drinkers (4-6 cups per day total).

Tastes great.

I’ve tried a lot of different beans, but this Lavazza Crema e Aroma is consistently the best tasting for the price. If you’re looking for a high-quality “all-rounder” coffee, this 2.2 lb bag is it.
Exceptional Flavor: It’s a balanced medium roast with really pleasant chocolate and nutty notes. It has a rich, full-bodied taste without any of that harsh bitterness you get with some darker roasts.
Perfect Crema: The “Crema” in the name isn’t an exaggeration. It produces a thick, velvety crema that looks and tastes like something you’d get at a high-end Italian café.
Incredible Freshness: Even as a large bag, the beans stay fresh and aromatic. The smell when you first open it is amazing.
This has quickly become my go-to for my morning espresso and afternoon lattes. Truly delicious coffee that never disappoints.

Very good

This is good coffee, but I thought it would be different, since it’s supposed to be designed for coffee with milk, which is how I drink my coffee. Honestly, it just tastes like coffee. It’s good coffee, but I can’t tell any difference at all. I thought maybe my husband would notice a difference, since he drinks his coffee black, but he also couldn’t tell a difference. We both agree that it has a good flavor, not bitter or too strong, and we will drink it and enjoy it, but it just tastes like coffee.

These are excellent beans – Highly Recommended!
Excellent Crema Production:
The crema on this coffee is absolutely outstanding. When I pull a shot of espresso, I get a thick, golden-brown crema that lasts and lasts. It’s exactly what you want to see on a properly made espresso – dense, velvety, and persistent. The name “Crema E Aroma” is not just marketing – this blend truly delivers an excellent crema that rivals what you’d find in a quality Italian café. Whether you’re making straight espresso or milk-based drinks, that beautiful crema layer adds both visual appeal and contributes to the overall mouthfeel.
Aromatic Robustness:
The moment you open the bag and grind these beans, the aromatic robustness hits you immediately. The fragrance is rich, complex, and inviting – deep coffee notes with earthy undertones that promise a full-bodied cup. Even before brewing, you know you’re in for something special. That aroma carries through to the cup beautifully, filling the kitchen with an enticing coffee scent that makes mornings feel truly special.
Smooth and Rich Texture with Low Acidity:
What really impressed me is the smooth and rich texture of this coffee. Despite being a medium roast with intensity, there’s no harshness or bitterness. The mouthfeel is creamy and luxurious, coating your palate in the best way. The acidity is pleasantly low, making it incredibly smooth and gentle on the stomach – perfect for those who find high-acid coffees too sharp or uncomfortable. It’s robust without being overwhelming, and the earthiness adds depth without any unpleasant astringency. The balance is simply perfect.
Lovely Espresso and Lattes:
This blend makes a lovely espresso – bold enough to stand on its own with complex flavors that develop as it cools. But where it really shines for me is in lattes. The coffee flavor holds up beautifully against milk, cutting through without getting lost. The result is a perfectly balanced latte with rich coffee character and that gorgeous crema on top. I’ve also made cappuccinos and flat whites with excellent results every time.
Balanced Medium Roast:
The balanced medium roast profile means it’s approachable for different palates while still delivering that intense, earthy flavor Lavazza is known for. It’s not so dark that it’s overpowering, but not so light that it lacks character.
Great Value:
The 2.2-pound bag offers excellent value and stays fresh well if you store it properly. Plus, knowing it’s Non-GMO is a nice bonus.
Overall:
If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality whole bean coffee that delivers café-quality crema and rich flavor at home, this Lavazza blend is hard to beat. It’s become my go-to for both morning espresso and afternoon lattes. Highly recommend!

This is just the best coffee. Very smooth and not acidic. Fresh as well at a great price.
AdvisedByAva –
I take my coffee Americano style. Given the robust flavor and frothiness of the coffee naturally, I don’t need much creamer or sweetener. I find it to have a lower acidity than other variety and feel that it is quite smooth. This has been my go to coffee bean for 3 years due to both cost and flavor profile.

Rich texture, robust, nutty, chocolate tones, silky, premium. Near perfect for a great French press coffee with a touch of cream/and or whipped cream. Great value.
Iryna –
I really enjoyed this coffee! It has a smooth, rich flavor that isn’t too bitter, which makes it easy to drink. The aroma smells great, and it tastes fresh whether I drink it black or with cream and sugar.
It gave me a nice boost of energy without feeling too strong. I also liked that it didn’t leave a bad aftertaste. Overall, this coffee is flavorful, satisfying, and perfect for starting the day or enjoying a relaxing break.

I’ve been using this for my morning espresso shots for about three weeks now, and it’s become my go-to weekday coffee. The crema production is reliable and thick, which matters when you’re pulling shots on a decent machine. The flavor is exactly what they describe: earthy and smooth without being bitter or overly acidic. It’s not complex or surprising, but it’s dependable.
The aroma when grinding is strong and pleasant, with those chocolate notes coming through clearly. Freshness seems solid straight from the bag, though I store it in an airtight container after opening. The grind consistency is uniform, which makes dialing in my espresso machine straightforward. I’ve also run it through a drip maker and French press on weekends without issue, though it really shines in espresso.
At this price point for a 2.2 pound bag, the value is fair. You’re paying for a heritage brand with actual expertise behind the blend, not just marketing. The bag itself is practical with a good seal, and it fits easily in my cabinet. This isn’t a specialty single-origin coffee, but it’s not trying to be. It’s a well-balanced everyday espresso that performs consistently. If you want an Italian coffee that works reliably across different brewing methods, this delivers without pretense.
