If I could only take three or four supplements, this would be one of them because it is good for inflammation which is the cause of a lot of human health problems.

I really wanted to love this product because I’ve read so many great things about turmeric and curcumin. I also use regular turmeric in my food with no problems at all. Unfortunately, this concentrated extract just didn’t agree with my body.
After taking it for a couple of weeks, I began having nausea, regurgitation, and upper right abdominal discomfort—especially at night when lying down. I later learned that high-strength curcumin extracts can trigger the gallbladder to release too much bile, which can cause the exact symptoms I experienced. I never had any of these issues before starting this supplement.
I’m sure this product works well for some people, but if you have a sensitive stomach or take it on an empty stomach, be careful. Even though turmeric in food is gentle for me, this extract was much too strong and caused noticeable digestive upset.
I’ve stopped taking it and the symptoms have started to improve. Just sharing my experience in case it helps someone else.

I’ve had to update this review. The sterate in these caused me some issues. I really thought that since it’s vegetable sterate it would not bother me, but it’s all the same it seems. Too bad.
I didn’t know if this would work but I figured it was worth a try. I usually have sensitivities to whatever they put in supplement capsules and end up having to throw them away. Well, I didn’t have to do that with this product. I feel that life extension products have saved my life on a number of occasions especially after a surgery and major drop in estrogen. I have fibromyalgia and asthma. Those are my major ailments at the moment. I had a persistent cough that NEVER went away and this is no exaggeration. My chest would hurt terribly and the medications, inhalers, etc didn’t stop the coughing. I didn’t think this would stop the coughing. I purchased it because of the fibromyalgia. It stopped the coughing and stopped the fibromyalgia pain. I really can’t believe it. I think this is the best curcumin you can buy. I didn’t have to worry about bioperine interfering with any medications because this doesn’t have it. I also don’t trust some of these other companies on Amazon that I’ve never heard of. I checked out one supplement company that had an item listed and found out they were bottling the supplement in their home right here in the city where I live! You can imagine my shock. What were the chances! Anybody can order a couple of bottle off of Alibaba, print some labels at home and repackage some supplements from China. That’s scary. Life extension is top notch.
I hope they keep their quality, honesty, and integrity. That’s the only way to make steady money. Low quality and greed leads to quick money and a quick downfall too.

I have been using curcumin products for some time now since I started getting inflammation in my fingers. I didn’t want to start using medication that the doctor was going to prescribe and after a few weeks of using curcumin the pain has gone. After my last brand ran out of stock I thought I would try this as it doesn’t have piperine in (as it doesn’t agree with me) and I must say that it appears to work well and my pain is still controlled. Very happy with this product.

A couple of friends told us how effective Curcumin was for relieving pain from arthritis. They sent us a bottle to try. My wife’s osteoarthritis pain had diminished after a few days and no longer keeps her awake! She takes two capsules daily. We have ordered from Life Extension ever since.
With Curcumin having anti-inflammatory properties, some say it’s effective for those with Crohn’s Disease. I’m one of those folks, so I am trying it now. The symptoms of my disease have been less painful than most, but I have dealt with soreness through my lower gut just over the belt line. After a week’s use, the soreness is gone. I will speak with my GI doctor about it on my next appointment and see her opinion about this, but I don’t see this as a fluke. I’ve known that natural remedies can be helpful for some time. Now I’m a true believer!
