This Infallible Eyeliner by L’Oreal is very reliable and works great. It goes on smoothly and lasts a long time. I have other eyeliners but I prefer this one. I like the smudger tip on the end of it. I bought the carbon black which I think is a bit too dark for me but that is my mistake. Next time I will just buy regular black. I like the fact that it is sturdy and soft at the same time. I have used this eyeliner for a long time and never had the point break.

This eye pencil glides on smoothly without tugging and delivers rich, deep pigmentation in a single stroke. It instantly adds depth, and makes the eyes look dressy. Perfect to use in the car – as long as you’re not the one driving.
The only issue is that, possibly due to my oily eyelids, the pencil sometimes transfers, and leaves a mark on my upper lids.

This particular color has been a favorite of mine for at least a decade. It’s creamy, perfect shade goes on almost by itself and is very flattering if you have cool toned skin. I love the little sharpener too as it makes sharpening easy. It stays all day and doesn’t travel from where you place it. Great little pencil.

This is my absolute favorite eyeliner ever. I know that everyone’s preferences/interactions are different when it comes to cosmetics, but this one works the best for me. I have been using it for several years now and it is the only one I will continue to use, except when I want to add some liquid liner for a special night out. I prefer a more smudged eyeliner look than a hard and straight line, so this is ideal for me since the eyeliner itself is softer than a pencil and it has the smudge tool. Since I smudge it anyway, I can apply this relatively quickly without worrying about getting a perfectly straight and even line. Even though it is softer than a pencil, it is not so soft as a liquid liner/brush, so it is easier for me to control and apply and it is dry right away. It is dark, but it is not as dark and defined as a liquid liner. You will get a slightly different look depending on whether you apply it before eye shadow or after. Eye shadow will stick to the top of it, so it’s less defined (more blended in?) if you apply the eyeliner first. If you apply the liner after the shadow, then it takes a little bit more effort because the liner will kindof wipe away the eye shadow first before it actually sticks to your eyelid, so you have to make a couple passes. But the end result will be a bit more definition of the line. And there is obviously more definition if you don’t smudge it afterward. When I want a darker, more defined line, I use this liner as a sort of primer to liquid liner. I will apply this one and smudge it in as usual, then top it with a thin coat of liquid liner. More color and definition, but less worry about making the liquid line 100% correct and thick since the undercoat of liner shades in any gaps. It also comes with a sharpener attached to the smudger, but I never use it since I’m not going for that thin/defined line and I’m smudging it anyway; sharpening the crayon just wastes product. Once applied, it lasts me all day as long as I’m not rubbing my eyes or something. Even after swimming or sleeping, there is enough there to still look ok (again, since I smudge it…if I was going for a defined thin line, it probably wouldn’t look right after swimming or sleeping).
The only problem I have with this eyeliner is the casing – the clear smudger cap breaks and detaches easily in a bag and the casing around the smudger/sharpener cracks easily which causes the smudger/sharpener to fall out completely (and it always ends up at the bottom of my makeup bag, of course). The crayon itself often detaches from the retracting mechanism so that you can only advance it and not retract it.
