Compared to other brands, this product’s pattern is printed poorly against the black fabric. It rubs off easily as you stitch and creates dust because the duck fabric is heavy and as it is taunt tightly within the hoops, the strong tension from the needle as you insert causes the pattern print to begin to naturally prick off. If you need to take a stitch out and redo it, the line is absolutely gone. The design doesn’t have to be on black fabric if the challenge to print it is the issue, white is fine! It’s extremely basic stitches, primarily one to two stitch styles are only required, therefore, it’s useful for beginners. Not really impressed with the illustration, seemed clip art in my opinion, but tried it before my daughter could use it myself. But brcause of the nature of the pattern flaking off easily, I would not think it’ll work for her as I originally planned as she needs room for error which this product does not support.

I am just getting into embroidery and know very little aside from the basics. Not only are these designs beautiful, the instructions are so clear and very helpful. Each design has an easy to follow guide. You get the thread colors you need, three needles, and an embroidery hoop. The only down side in my opinion is the hoop is plastic. I have done a few other pieces that had wooden hoop which I prefer the look of more but these are fine as well.

Was a little hard using 6 strands for most of the flowers, but you can see why in the design of finished product. Great size, good quality, vibrant colors. Great value, more than enough thread provided.

Really beautiful pattern and colors but I ran out of blue thread in the night sky one just as I was about to finish the sky. I did not screw up nearly enough to justify this and followed instructions. I should be finishing with extra thread based on this item’s description.
Now I’m nervous about the other sections
🙁 I’ll have to grab some blue thread from the other pattern. Hoping it doesn’t result in that one not having enough thread too.

I admit that I’m currently in a state of incompletion on these three needle-points, but they are fun and I really do like the beautiful designs printed on the embroidery cloths.
Appearance: It arrived in perfect condition, as there was no damage and after opening I took inventory of what was to be there and what I had, it matched as described- so that was great. A point I’m probably going to mention twice is that I really appreciated the paper with the completed object on one side and really helpful visual and written under every different kind of stitch needed. As someone who hadn’t done this activity in a while, it was nice to have good instructions and tips for me to become reacquainted with the differing stitches, thread numbers, how and when to tie which knot as per thread amounts, ect.
Ease of Use.:
The product was very much easy to use if you make sure to gather what you need for the one you’re going to do, check out the completed photo, separate the needed strings, pre string your needle, and find your starting stitch type on the back; look and read if you’re not sure and it’s easy as pie.
The only regrets are not getting finger protection for my thumbs and pointer fingers sooner, as I will zone out while watching something or just sitting and end up with torn, calloused tips to said digits that are inflamed and irritated from my distracted self. Metal thimbles work well, but I found some moldable, rubbery and cushioned ones— just wanted to throw that out there if someone else just starts something and keeps it up for way too long, hurt their fingers, and then have to just live with throbbing thumbs and fingers!

The negative…Patterns are not iron on transfers. It’s more of a chalk like substance that crumbles with each stitch. What this means is, there is no room for error. If you make any mistakes and have to take out stitches, you lose the pattern.
I did not expect this, as I’ve purchased other kits from this brand and the patterns were iron on transfers. Very disappointing. I’m actually doing this set for a customer.

This is such a great beginners kit. Easy to follow instructions, and along the way, you learn a few stitches along the way with lots of practice. This was my first time in a long time doing embroidery… I love it. This set has 3 pieces: each piece is packaged with the pattern, plenty of thread, and needles, and easy to follow instructions; also, 3 plastic embroidery rings. So, you have everything you need to get started. The thread isn’t the best quality, but the end result… you still get a beautiful, brilliant, good quality piece of art work… 3 pieces of art work! Overall, great quality and value!

This is a beautiful and complete kit! I’ve had issues in the past with the washable lines not coming off, especially on the darker fabric, but this came off perfectly. Of course, the trade-off is that you have to be careful not to rub off the lines as you work, but it’s better than spending hours on a piece only to discover the lines won’t wash off (that happened to me with a different brand.) One thing I recommend is taking a picture of the item before doing the embroidery for reference. When you are working on a segment with shading lines, once you embroider the base (like the moon in my picture), you cover over the shading lines. It’s nice to have a photo for reference, so you can eyeball where the lines go.

Very nice embroidery set. It was purchased for a friend who has been wanting to learn but the instructions are very much lacking. She’s using YouTube so no biggie but included, detailed paper instructions would have been preferred. Still, find a good video or teacher because this really is a lovely set at a good price & the quality is good.

Product as described. Very nice designs and user friendly instructions. I made the mistake of ironing out one of the canvas because it was wrinkly. Don’t do this! Lol It fades out the design. Very lovely kit ❤️
