You get the Three of Pentacles, Seven of Pentacles, and The Star.
“Um…YEAH OK THANKS, TAROT. BUT WHAT ABOUT MY DATE?”
I hear you.
Love and Relationship themed Tarot readings are the most popular readings of all, and yet….
If you have tried to read Tarot, you may have come to the conclusion that only about a third of the cards concern themselves with relationships and emotions (Looking at you, Cups).
In truth, if you know how to look, all of the cards of the Tarot deck have meanings that fall into the Big Three of Inquiry: Love, Money, and Work.
Of course you care about your job or the occasional specific issue, but by and large people want answers to questions such as “Does he/she love me?” “Is he/she the right one for me?” “What’s going to happen now?” And the daunting “Why is this happening TO ME?”
This book will open the veil!

If you read tarot like me, and are having problems with understanding your cards when it comes to relationships, this book was very helpful and to the point. It’s also helpful when you are trying to do relationship readings for others as well.
The author really goes into detail on the specifics of each card (all 78) when it comes to finding love, and relationships. There’s also 3 useful tarot spreads near the end that you can do as well. I highly recommend this book!

I found this book so helpful that I have a copy of the book in print as well as buying the Kindle version in case I need to refer to it and I’m not home! Yes it really is that good.
Jhone Daniels makes reading Tarot so much more accessible and alleviates the stress that comes with trying to decipher esoteric knowledge.
Her descriptions of each card are clear and concise and she adds other card combinations in so that you truly get a sense of what your reading means to tell you. The book is also super easy to read and Jhone is witty and compassionate so even when the cards are not in your favor you still get a sense of hopefulness rather than helplessness.
This book is a must for experienced as well as novice readers.

Finally, a tarot author who speaks my language. Absolutely loved this book. Fab tarot card combinations also. Thank you. Will be looking out for more of your books

I’m a Tarot beginner. This book got my attention because it focuses on love and romance meanings in the cards, which I’ve struggled with. So, I sat down with my cards and the book…and wow! It really helped me put them in the right context and see the nuance in the cards.
But this book is not limited to love readings. The author provides concise traditional meanings for the cards, which I find valuable for readings on other topics as well.
Plus, it’s just fun to read. I really enjoy her conversational style and humor. I highly recommend this book.

Apesar da leitura ser leve e bem humorada, os significados das cartas são bem superficiais, até mesmo para um iniciante. Não significa que um produto destinado a iniciante não possa ser mais completo. Não recomendo.

When I was a teenager, I had a friend who taught me how to read tarot cards. Of course, I’ve forgotten much of what I’ve learned since then, but I remember that we had so much fun dealing out the spreads and interpreting what the cards held for us. Decades later, reading this book makes me feel as if I’m back in those days, with that trusted friend whose advice I know would never steer me wrong. Jhone’s warm and easy writing makes you feel as if you’re sitting down with her, drinking tea (or something stronger,) and discussing a current love interest. Her interpretations of the various tarot cards are no-nonsense and wise, and her humor and wit easily keep you engaged in the subject. This book is an enjoyable – as well as informative – read. I highly recommend it!

LOVE this book! I find myself referring back to it often when I need a proper sit-down and chat to really hear a card’s message from a romantic angle. Ms. Daniels delivers this message in a deliciously simple, delightfully humorous, and compassionate, when needed, way. There is a glorious depth and richness provided that brings each card to life. This has become a beloved staple in my tarot library.

Pretty obvious descriptions that you probably already know if you are familiar with cards.

I’ve been collecting tarot decks and reading books about them and trying to get better at reading them without frantically flipping through a book for (mumbletyhumphle) years.
Ok, since the music that’s now playing in grocery stores was NEW, ok?
And honestly, this sassy little book, directly addressed to all of us “Star Pirates,” is already one of my all-time favorites in the genre.
I love how it cuts through all the unnecessary lore and mysticism that can cheapen tarot and cuts right to the heart of what ive always found valuable about it–it isn’t a “fortune-telling” tool so much as a key to deeper layers of your own subconscious.
If you can’t afford a therapist, you can afford this book and a tarot deck.
Same thing, different methods, really.

The title says “…for beginners” but I’ll tell you, as an experienced reader I am getting a whole lot out of this! This book, although written in a humorous style, is actually very deep. If you do love readings, or want to expand into that area, this is the book for you. The author goes card by card to show you how each card might be interpreted in a love/relationship reading. Besides the individual card meanings, she describes how the meaning might be altered depending on its place in a spread, and how it is influenced by surrounding cards, which is a big help in doing a reading. The book has a few illustrations by the author which I love– she should create a deck! You will really enjoy this book and get a LOT out of it. Many times I read her love interpretations and I think, “Wow, I never thought of that!” Great book.
