Like another reviewer mentioned, the stand is TRASH, and the quality is poor on the selenite itself, lumpy, cracked. I would NOT recommend.

This is a lovely piece of selenite. Because of the clear color of selenite, you will be able to see through this orb and see different types of strands and where the selenite forms and separates inside, and that is pretty common with these types of rounded mineral balls. The stone instead has this luminescent quality to it and when it hits the light it really shines. I used this orb to help recharge some of my other crystals and Selenite is great for that purpose. It does come with a small decorative wood stand, which I appreciate as this guy will roll down due to its shape. Overall I am pleased with this lovely addition to my mineral/rock family and recommend this stone to mineral collectors.

In my opinion all crystals from Mother Earth deserve 5 stars no matter how imperfect. For the sake of reviewing this crystal to help others decide whether this store is right for you, I am giving this 3 stars. I knocked off 1 star because the sphere I received is lumpy all over. It’s so lumpy, there’s no worry about it rolling off a table, you don’t even need a stand. Yes I am expecting a pool cue ball smooth selenite sphere and there is no reason why this crystal ball could not be same. This is a quality control problem.
I knocked off a second star because the stand that came with it is a stacked together mess. It’s two wooden bases joined one on top of another by a one inch plastic rod, covered at the top by one inch diameter red velvet cloth, upon which the sphere sits. The problem is that the red velvet is barely hanging on and the top portion of the base moves, you can literally twist and turn it like a lid. No wonder there’s no picture of it in the seller’s listing.
Also the sphere came bubble wrapped in plastic tape inside brown paper carton that made it look cheap and messy. If you’re planning on gifting this, you might want to repackage it. This crystal selenite sphere deserve better treatment than this. All in all very disappointing.

I adore this selenite ball, it’s not perfectly round but I happen to be someone who chooses the raw crystals over the polished and perfect ones anyways. Makes it feel like no other crystal could ever be like the one I’m holding in my hand because no two could be the same. In this case, it’s not super oddly misshapen either, just slightly and is hardly noticeable unless I point it out to someone else or something. Otherwise it looks perfectly round on its stand and I am super connected to the energy it has already. I’m 100 % stoked to have a selenite crystal on a stand that will go next to my crystal balls for divination purposes. Forever cleaning the crystals near it just by it being there, since selenite can’t hold bad energy and will always cleanse it from anything in it vicinity as well! It’s magical to own this and I’m so thankful for it and the sellers for how gorgeous it is. Thank you!! Would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t need perfection but just the rawness of the beauty it holds.

I don’t know if you are supposed to be able to see thru selenite like glass but on one side of this, I can see into it perfectly like it was just a glass ball. The ball is lumpy and not smooth at all, looks a bit goofy when you are holding it and looking at it.
The base is kinda cheap looking and they put some ugly red felt on top so when the crystal is on top of the base, the red shows up clear at the top of the crystal and looks goofy. So i’ll definitely be changing the fabric out under the crystal to something white.
Bottom line for me? Not worth $26 at all! This ball should be more like $10 for how goofy it and the stand looks.
