As I age and finally caught COVID which forced me to live an extremely sedentary lifestyle (because I couldn’t catch my breath), I finally bought a variety of things to beat myself up with, I mean massage myself with, for circulation purposes and getting cramped in place.
These items are hand-held and made of ABS plastic, which is fine with me since I envision them to be long-lasting and I will be using them for the rest of my life (or until I lose them). I carry them inside a drawstring bag that goes in my daily bag, so I can jab myself, I mean massage myself, in the neck or leg wherever I go. I am about to become a giant blood clot because I can barely move without losing my breath or getting dizzy. These have been subjected to food-grade oils used as massage oil and they have held up fine — just wipe it off. You can swirl them in a small tub of water with a bit of soap to clean them if you want. Five stars!

Three shape are very versatile, though I don’t use the “3-legged” one very much. But others I use often and they reduce strain on my hands/fingers. Well-priced, too.

It is common for real massage therapists to have the same problems as the people receiving massage. The use of various massage tools can slow down or if used early on possibly avoid later deterioration. The green and blue tools can help your thumbs and other areas. Thumbs being the first thing you will notice in hand arthritus. The black tool is okay but Amazon offers better versions.

Sturdy hard plastic definitely saves the thumb it was a great purchase especially for the price. I would buy again
The only potential down side is you will need to wear a piece of clothing in between the tool and skin when using the blue piece because of the way it was molded together it could scrape your skin if you don’t sand it down
