I decided to replace my morning coffee with matcha to cut back on caffeine spikes, and this organic Matcha DNA powder has made the transition so easy. The flavor is smooth and earthy without being bitter, and it blends really well in hot water or oat milk. I also love that it’s certified organic — it gives me peace of mind knowing it’s clean and high quality.

Now I make a matcha latte every morning, and I genuinely feel more alert and calm throughout the day compared to coffee jitters. The resealable tin keeps it fresh, and a little goes a long way. Definitely worth it if you’re trying to start a healthier routine!

My first purchase of this Matcha brand, after trying many, and it has redefined my appreciation of a GREAT tea in it’s natural sweetness, no bitterness, light creaminess, no chalky aftertaste, or clumping. Highly recommend!

Very good matcha, its value for the money paid, great taste and perfect for morning freshness. It’s best if you do the whisk with small amount of warm water and it blends easily and better tasting and no bitterness

I bought this Matcha for the third time. It tastes great, and smells fresh when you open the container. I highly recommend it! The price is unbeatable and it’s top quality and organic certified. I bought more expensive Matcha before and it was not any better. The real deal!

This is the best day-to-day matcha I found. Unbelievable price for the amount you’re getting. Taste is good. Grind is fine. Yes, it’s not ceremonial quality but if you want a good matcha for an unbelievable price, this is it. I bought 3 cans in two years (yes, it lasts THAT long and I use a lot every day). Great product!

I had bought the much more expensive matcha brands for years, and was delighted to find that the economical MATCHA DNA is every bit as as effective for the wonderful calm energy that matcha is known for. The flavor is just as good too.

This is a great deal for the price. I am from China, where matcha originated, and our people love it! We have vast green tea plantations in the central-southern region of the country, and matcha is made from the very fresh, young leaves at the tips of the tea plants. This product tastes great, and the powder is very fine and well preserved. I highly recommend it.

This is an ok matcha and great for the price. IMHO it’s acceptable for drinking as tea but it’s not good ceremonial grade, a bit bitter and the umami is ok burned not great. Still for the price it’s at least as good as purechimp

Honestly… The best I have found in the market! I requested more information on lead levels and processes used and I was well impressed. Second time I’ve purchased from them and will continue to do so for sure.
    Very quickly delivered too!

I go on matcha kicks and I like this brand, not sweet at all but great quality! I started liking matcha from Dunkin so I was surprised when it wasn’t sweet but it still tasted better! I can’t drink coffee because it makes me antsy but this drink doesn’t! I also feel relaxed when I drink it in the afternoon. I like mine with milk and sugar

As an old dude (81) I have relied on Earl Gray black tea, or coffee, for a stimulating buzz. But they always end up leaving me with a tightness in the gut after a few days; plus this seems to prevent deeper sleep.
Macha is new to me. I got a product with Macha and other ingredients which I mix into a morning fruit smoothie. I have to say that I do get a nice wake-up stimulus, and without the bad side effect.
Thus i am now trying pure Macha by itself. My initial report is that it tastes like seaweed to me, but if I find using it in the morning proves to have less side effects, I will continue it and I’m sure my body will learn to love it.

If I can give this zero stars or negative stars I would!!!

This is probably the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon!

I spent about 30 minutes on Amazon looking at reviews looking at products comparing product options

Searching for a different Matcha brand and decided to take a chance on this one because it offers way more for the price so I was excited to try it

However, once I receive this product, I attempted to make a Matcha latte, which is the reason why I purchased it.. The product was so bad. I quite literally could not even force myself to drink it.

I even tried to remake my drink two different times!!!

And I still couldn’t drink it no matter which way I try to make it or how I try to make it better. The Matcha was just that bad.

This is not Matcha THIS IS DIRT in a bucket!!!!

If you love Matcha and you know what Matcha taste like please do not even waste your time on purchasing this product stick to the high-quality Matcha

And that’s not even the worst part!!!

The worst part is after I figured out there’s no way to make this much of work because I obviously wanted to make it work

I attempted to process a refund so I can return it the very next day after I got it and tried it

But when I went onto my Amazon account to try to process the refund so that I can return it and get my money

I was told this item is not returnable!!

So now I’m stuck with a disgusting batch of mozzarella powder that I have no choice, but to throw away because I can’t even force to use it. That’s how bad it is.!

But now I’m stuck with a unusable product that’s not consumable in the company still has my money

They won’t even offer me the option to refund it to make things right!!!

DOOO NOTTT BUYYY THISS!!!! …Trust Me!!!!

I went ahead and uploaded a photo of the Matcha that I received and compared it to the leftover ceremonial grade Matcha powder that I had purchased on Amazon prior to ordering this one!!

So you can see the difference in color!!

This new cat I ordered was supposed to be a replenishment, but you can see in the photo the brand that I had purchased on Amazon and you can see the difference in the quality and color

Versus the can of Matcha that looks like brown dirt!
    And taste like exactly that!!!!

SOOO BADD ..I can’t even explain itt …just Bad!!!

I’ve tried this matcha several times now, and I like to keep buying it because it has a good flavor and a very affordable price. I mainly buy matcha for its health benefits rather than for an intense umami flavor, so for the price this matcha offers, I get a generous amount that lasts for many drinks. Sometimes I drink it with soy milk, and other times simply with hot water. For my palate, it has a pleasant taste, just a little bit of honey to balance it out, and it turns out great.

Previously, this matcha came in resealable bags, but they have now changed the packaging to aluminum tins, which I think is a much better option. Sometimes the bags didn’t seal properly, but now I can close the tin securely with its lid and also store the included measuring scoop inside, keeping everything well sealed.

Overall, if you’re looking for a good matcha with an excellent price-to-quality ratio, this is one of the best options I’ve seen on Amazon.

MATCHA DNA Certified Organic Matcha Green Tea good quality, taste and blends well. My son switched from energy drinks to this. He likes to stay up late on weekends. This is a much safer and healthier alternative. I use it too for the health benefits. Highly recommended.

I have two small restaurants that offer Matcha served hot or cold. Our original Matcha subscription was discontinued and I am happy to report that my staff likes this one even better. It blends nicely with milk hot or cold. It has a nice bold color, the taste is appropriate for Matcha and the tin makes it easy to store and keep fresh.

I bought these two matcha powders at the same time expecting similar quality, but they are very different and will fit different needs depending on how you like your matcha.

The smaller tin has a much brighter green color, a finer texture, and tastes noticeably smoother. It whisks up creamy with no effort and has that nice natural sweetness you expect from higher-grade matcha. This is the one you want if you drink matcha straight, make lattes, or prefer a softer flavor without bitterness.

The large tin, on the other hand, is more of an olive green and has a slightly coarser texture. The flavor is earthier and a little more bitter, which makes it better for baking or smoothies where you want matcha flavor but don’t need ceremonial-level quality. It’s a good value for the amount you get, just not as delicate or vibrant as the smaller tin.

Overall, both are useful—just for different purposes. If you want a smoother daily latte or traditional matcha, pick the brighter one. If you want a budget-friendly big container for cooking or mixing, the larger tin works great.

For the money, you really can’t go wrong with this giant, one pound can of matcha powder! At just over a dollar an ounce, this will go a long way without erasing your bank account. It comes in a tightly sealed metal can similar to ground coffee, without a plastic bag inside the tin.

I’ve tried several much more expensive matcha powders, and I’ll explain the main differences between this DNA matcha and the others…

The DNA matcha powder is on the duller green side when I compare it with the bright green color of more expensive matches, and while the aroma is there, it definitely doesn’t ‘jump out’ like the others. The seal should preserve it as it was when packaged, so this blend might not use the freshest green leaves of the more expensive brands.

With that in consideration, if you’re really used to the good stuff, you might be disappointed, but this matcha is still better tasting than a few of the pricier ones. There is a very slight bitterness, but I can live with that.

If you like to bake with matcha, THIS is a steal. I really like matcha lattes and smoothies and tend to use double the powder in my drinks to get a thicker and stronger flavor. This size package will be perfect for me, but I expect it would get stale if you’re a casual user. I’ll update my review if I note a lot of oxidation or bitterness before It’s used up.

The texture of this matcha powder is excellent. It blends without lots of little clumps, and results in a smooth, slightly gritty consistency. It froths nicely with either a traditional matcha wisk or a battery powered one.

This matcha is solid quality for the size and price. Color is a healthy green rather than dull or brownish, which usually indicates decent freshness. Flavor is smooth and grassy without excessive bitterness when prepared correctly.

It dissolves well with proper whisking or blending and works in both hot and iced drinks. Also performs well in smoothies, baking, and lattes without overpowering other ingredients.

The large tin is practical if you use matcha regularly instead of treating it as a ceremonial-only product. This is a functional, everyday matcha that prioritizes consistency and value over hype.

This matcha powder is very good. The powder smells great, like a matcha you’d get at a cafe. The powder is fine and a pretty creamy lime green. It tastes great on its own but even better with some honey. Wayyyy better than Jad* Matha powder. Miles better. And I’ve tried everything from high end ceremonial grade at $27 to cheap Jad* Leaf matcha for $7. This one is one of the better ones for such a good price. I’d buy again!!!

I have tried so many different matcha teas. This one is perfect for lattes, to add to your coffee or have as traditional matcha. Now there are ceremonial grade matcha’s that have a deeper flavor than this, but for this price point this is by far the best I have tried.

As a first timer trying this matcha, I was moved to write a review. I bought this a few months ago and I absolutely love it. So far I have been making matcha latte at home and I love it. Today I wanted to try it pure with no milk or sugar. I was ready for it to be bitter or foul smelling but OMG it taste great and smooth. I only added hot water and mixed it and to me it’s smooth, dissolved very well and to be honest it tastes a little sweet with no smell to it. I love this and will definitely buy more for how easy it is to use.
