I like this and it stays beautiful on my face for a whole day. I have gotten compliments too. However, I hate that it darkens after a while and I feel this whitish residues. I thought it was my moisturizers, but apparently it’s the after effect of the foundation. I will go a color lighter next time

I use the this 125 color when I am tan in the summer. I have used this exact foundation for years, except the oily, creamy version, not the matte and poreless. I purchased the Matte and Porelss at Walmart a couple months ago and have used it a few times. I just used it again yesterday, so here goes:
Cons: I have moderate sized pores. To my eyes, they stand out horribly and I hate them. While this is VERY matte and definitely eliminates shine, it does not give you a ‘poreless’ look. The shine reduction and smooth finish do give a very even overall look. It is an improvement over the exact same foundation, only the one for dry skin that is creamier. However, because it’s matte, it does accent lines and wrinkles and the edges of the pores somewhat, but not nearly as bad as others I have tried. Anyone that has used matte finish foundations knows they all do that.
Pros: The coverage was really, really good and it lasted all day. Granted, I just went to town to do some errands and shopping, but when I got home, it looked like it had just been applied. Not only that, it helped my eye make up stay on much better than it’s counterpart. It evened out my skin and any blemishes were well covered. It did give a smooth, creamy finish, so if you don’t have wrinkles and have small pores already, you will love it.

I remember using this back when it first came out. I’ve been using the Clinique stay matte foundation for years and it was recently discontinued so I decided to try this one again. First thing is that it pulls slightly orange (I used shade 122 for my light cool-toned skin), but not enough that it’s super noticeable. I was surprised how good this looked on, it gave a very matte but natural finish with medium coverage. However, even with primer, concealer, setting powder and setting spray, it wears off after about 4 hours. I have acne and dark spots and after wearing this on several occasions for 4-8 hours all of the coverage disappeared. It is winter so it wasn’t even a problem of sweating it off. My skin is oily but when it wears off my skin still looks pretty matte, it just loses the coverage. I might retry once my skin clears up but for now this is not for me.
