I’ve been trying different brands out for the last 10 years and I’ve never been completely satisfied until I found this eyeliner. The quality is great, this will last me all day and night as long as I’m not rubbing my eyes too much. Once it dries, it’s smudge proof and waterproof for sure. It’s very easy to use! The colour is accurate and it’s a perfect black.

Great liquid liner! There are certain cosmetic products I will pay more for but liquid eyeliner isn’t one of them. I knew I could find what I needed in a drugstore brand for under $15. After trying out several this one checks all the boxes. Easy to apply (length/texture of pen gives great grip and applicator is firm but not too stiff). The formula is not too runny/wet and doesn’t bleed, you can fix mistakes fairly easily, it lasts all day and the shade of brown is perfect- not too warm toned and truly “dark brown.” I will try out the black next!

This is my favorite liquid eyeliner! The color is completely opaque like you want in a black liner, and not watery at all. Despite that, I don’t find it to feel goopy or crusty on the eyelid, which is great. The tip is nice and sharp and makes applying it very easy, with exception to user error of course. But speaking of user error, if I inevitably find it’s a day where I can’t draw straight lines, or am just bad at matching angles on both sides, removing it to then fix is very easy. I just wipe it away with a q-tip dipped in micellar water and keep going. But if not removed with micellar water, I find that it stays put for hours!

This liner is pretty excellent for the price. I used to use Kat Von D, but I ain’t got that money anymore. Even if I did, I’d keep using this over the fancier brands. In humid Florida it holds well if you use something to set your eyelids first. Which means if you live somewhere dry? You are set my friend.
My eye area tends to get sweaty, and maybe by the end of a 6-8 hour day in humid summer it’ll start smudging a teensy bit. By then I’m generally at home. It can be difficult to remove—I use oil to massage it off my skin, and then soap my face. And even then I might still have some residue that a face tonic easily rids of. Worth the work for how good it lasts. Easy to draw, the color is DARK and you only really need one layer. It’s comfy and glides on well and doesn’t bleed. I have hooded eyes so I have to keep my eyes closed for it to dry first, as with all liquid liner. Only downside? The brush tip bleeds a bit. Like, it bubbles out the product and I have to clear it off with a napkin. Otherwise, the felt tip is soooo saturated that my lines get smudged or it’ll apply too much product. I’ve had it for a while now, and so perhaps being tossed around in my purse has made it sad. It hasn’t exploded though and still works rather well. I feel I’ve used it so much and it doesn’t seem to plan on drying anytime soon.

This eyeliner is okay, but I’m not a big fan of the brush tip. It frayed out pretty quickly, and I wasn’t a big fan of how the product came off the brush at first compared to my others. It definitely was not my favorite tip but i got used to it . If you don’t have a lot of experience, then this is not the tip for you. I did okay with it, but in the morning, I’m tired and don’t always feel ad steady, and it’s made a mess of your not careful, and it does smear and flow out!
The good thing about this eyeliner is that it does flow off easily w little effort and has a shaker ball to stir it. It goes a long way and didn’t dry out like some, so if it weren’t for the brush issues, I would have gotten months more! I use my eyeliner every day, maybe skipping a day here and there, but I had this all summer and then kinda kept pulling the loose frayed to make it last longer through fall, till i got sick.of it and opened the next one discarding all the eyelin lift in the tube . It is very black, also, which is good and what i like.
The brush is fine, and before it frayed, it was nice for detailing the fine line I do. I got two, so I’m hoping the second will be a better experience with the fraying of the brush because if it weren’t for that, I would give it four stars! This time I’m a lot more careful with how I lay it and close it. I Make sure you lay it up because the product will flow down and make a mess because of how liquidy thin the liner is!

As far as I remember this lasted me quite a bit before dying, and was gorgeous and bold and vibrant. Dried pretty fast, the felt tip wasn’t too small or big, and the eyeliner didn’t really smudge despite me having the most oily face ever- totally worth it

I’ve been testing out various pen liners so I can change up brands. I’ve used NYX frequently and wanted to switch it up since my pen finally died. I will admit I’m a makeup snob especially when it comes to eye makeup. I however hate paying the eye cost that’s associated with some of the brand names when some off brand products or “drug store” type products work just as well. This is my first time buying Maybelline’s eyeliner and I doubt I’ll buy it again. What I do like is the fine tip point and the black color. It went on easily and the tip is great. My complaint has to do with if you line your top lid. I’ve attempted lining with both primer and without and the results were the same regardless. The top lid continues to smear or fade away faster then the bottom and wings. The bottom I didn’t notice that so much but I also go over my eyeliner a lot of times with shadow under my eye. This product smears easier than other products. I use a setting spray and even then I rubbed near my eye and had black streaking. Normally my setting spray prevents that or other brands stay on longer. I mean it’s ok in a pinch and if you line your eyes with shadow over the liner on the lids but for me, this is a pass for going out or needing something long-lasting.
I’ve tried out a cheaper brand non-brand name that worked better which surprised me after seeing the great reviews on this product. I’ll go back to NYX, Too faced and other brands mainly because I line my top lid and need something that works there as well. If sticking with this brand make sure you have a setting spray and eye primer or maybe just use for under your eyes.

This is like a holy grail in affordable liquid eye liner. It is super easy to use and apply. The black color is opaque and perfect. It does not budge or flake or move during the day (I usually have it on for at least 12 hours) and it is easy to remove at the end of the day. I love it!
