A great tasting Coffee. Not bold and bitter. Rather I will recommend this toasty and smooth coffee. The Mayorga is a pretty respectable brand. You won’t be disappointed

Very. Very good. Hunt of coco creamy and very smooth. Not bitter at all with an aero press. Love it.
J Rhoades –
This coffee doesn’t disappoint
its smooth and no bitter notes! Aromatically divine.

We have been drinking this coffee for over a year. It’s a medium roast that is a perfect way to start yhe day. It’s de.ivered regularly and is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend it.
Amazon Customer –
Amazing coffee beans. Rich and super smooth (no bitterness at all). I bought more in order to stock up in these crazy times where the coffee prices are constantly fluctuating.
Russell Cederberg –
I’ve tried most of them and have settled on this one. I have a nice Italian espresso rig and a burr grinder so the bean needs to be really good and this one works splendidly. Not burnt or oily, not bitter or too green, just rich and delicious.

Very good coffee, good flavor, not acidic or bitter. Flavor is good enough that after drinking a mug of it you want another mug just for the taste. So many coffees taste like drinking battery acid… but not this coffee. A while back I came across “Mexican Chiapas H/g E/p Fair Trade Organic Coffee Beans (Medium Roast (Full City +)” which was my favorite coffee but it hasn’t been available for a long time.
Between price increases for coffee beans and availability shortages I’ve tried to find a substitute for Mexican Chiapas ended up trying a few different coffee beans at around the $9 a pound price range and they all were horrible, one sip and would rather dump the mug instead of drinking it.
I tried Mayorga Organic Coffee Mayan Blend because it was on sale, it has a lot of flavor and is smooth and not acidic or bitter. After drinking a mug of this I want another mug of it. This will be my go to coffee from now on.
Mid Koaster –
The Artesino just wasn’t for me, which was a surprise. I loved their winter dark roast, so with all all the other positive feedback I expected it to be very smooth. However this medium roast I found to be excessively heavy with a good robust quality, but with a bitterness that overpowered whatever flavor was supposed to be there. This was especially true when I brewed with my Aeropress, but it helped to not grind the beans as finely as usual. Drip coffee was a little better, but still not to my liking. Maybe it was just the batch? I’ll probably buy this brand again though.
Nur Kandas –
Great taste. I liked how some of the flavors hit your taste buds after a second or two after you take a sip. It is definitely medium roast with a subtle punch. Easy on the stomach as well. Highly recommend.

I’ve re-ordered this coffee 26 times now & figured I owed it a review by now.
I’ve been a lifelong coffee drinker & have gone through many different brands. I am no expert, but I appreciate good taste nonetheless.
Out of all the amazon coffee’s I’ve tried, this one has by far been my favorite.
I won’t try and explain it like a connoisseur, but I will recommend to give this one a shot!
I don’t like fruity, acidic coffees – this is not that. It tastes as advertised. 26 re-orders is about as good of a justification as you can get

I bought this looking for a replacement for my favorite Panamanian coffee that isn’t available. It is a good solid choice. Not acidic with hints of chocolate but no burnt flavor. Not as complex and nuanced but a good substitute for my morning brew. Priced appropriately.

Outstanding flavor, smooth finish. This is quality coffee.

This coffee is the perfect coffee for me – I have been searching for a coffee that has lower acid content and this one is perfect – beans are packaged in a bag with a ziplock closing and can be stored in the bag – it is easy to pour from the bag – the coffee beans come from reputable farms – the coffee is smooth and have a real nice after taste – I am going to start buying this coffee
Winnie Rasmussen –
My favorite if the mayor’s blends. Not super gourmet but it’s a good medium roast option.
michael kohler –
This is some of the best coffee I’ve had! (Being as how I can only afford lower prices) smooth and not in the least bit bitter! Just as good as the higher priced kind. I’ve paid $42 /lb before. This is close to $30 for 2.5 s lbs!!!

When the delivery arrived I did as I always do with coffees I know I’m going to review. I opened the box, inspected the bag, opened the bag and took a really deep sniff of the coffee. This Mayorga Artesano coffee exhaled an enticing bouquet of aromas, I took another deep inhale through both my mouth and nose, something I learned from world class tasters judging spirits. I couldn’t resist. I emptied my grinder, rinsed and dried its parts and my Moccamastet carafe, grabbed the zero filter filtered water jug and I brewed a full pot. What a terrific homey, warm taste this coffee produces. As it’s brewing it blooms wonderfully and the aroma fills my entire place. The taste does the same. I make the coffee the same way I do all the coffees I drink, a scoop of powdered cream a scoop of Splenda a vigorous stir then it rests till it’s cooled to drink temps. The earthy mocha amber brew that filled the carafe was a celebration of flavors. Just terrific. I wanted more after it was gone. And since, when I start to get the 3 o’clock blues, I hit the button on the grinder and start an afternoon brew. I appreciate flavors, not because I am an expert, I appreciate flavors because I slow down and take the time to experience the flavors without any preconceived ideas. Taste is relative to the taster. For me, this will be a buy again and again. Terrific.

I have purchased several times a bag of the whole bean because I enjoy the taste. I would’ve given five stars. It appears that this batch has a lot of pulp or parchment layer that is in the coffee after it goes through my machine’s grinder. It’s messy but doesn’t seem to alter taste drastically. Haven’t had other coffee brands do this issue. I’m apprehensive about ordering another bag and getting the same issue.
Elliott Skorupa –
These are the most objective reviews I have come across on Amazon. This coffee is mellow yet bold, absent of bitterness. I would advocate for purchasing this blend 100%

Good Arabica coffee! Not harsh and great flavor. I’m pleased with this coffee.
