I just got into baking and decided to start with the easiest of all breads to make… sour dough (For those of you not in the know, I am being sarcastic).
I wanted to feel like a pro before knowing what I was doing. I had to have a wooden handle, none of the plastic stuff and the all metal stuff was not appealing to me. I feel like a wooden handle with a steel blade was perfect for that artisan feel. The quality is very sturdy and I really like the measurement conversions etched into the one side of the blade. Very pro feeling and looking. And for the price, getting two is a steal.

This set of dough knives are usefully and legibly marked with cm and inch scales and measurement equivalents. On the inch scale side, there is a bevel, which isn’t on most dough knives, and the scale is nicely cut into the bevel. The bevel makes a sharper working edge which makes cutting and scraping more efficient. The wood handles make for a nice working feel.

Très bons grattoir. La partie grattoir fonctionne super bien et les 2 côtés gratte nt de façons différentes: 1 côté plus aggressif et l’autre plus glissant. Seul ennui est le jeu entre la poignée de bois et la lame. J’espère que ça ne les empêchera pas de durer car je les utilise régulièrement.
