If you notice, most 5 star reviews are from people who didn’t realize they were getting such a large candle. I actually read descriptions before I make purchases so you are not going to get a 5 star review from me simply because I’m ecstatic over receiving a bucket size jar of wax LOL. As photos show, this candle arrived a mess with essential oils all over the box and candle itself. Also all over my hands and counter because I had to unpack and remove the candle. The wax was also slightly melted and crumbly looking which I’ve never experienced before even on the hottest days of the year. I order from several different candle companies that use soy and essential oils and this is the first time anything like this has happened. Also, weather isn’t overly hot, it’s in the 70’s with low humidity. I wasn’t surprised though because I read reviews before purchasing and this is not the first time it’s happened apparently. Does it smell good? Yes. Does it smell like a caramel pumpkin latte? No. I can’t detect any pumpkin or even caramel notes in this scent. When I smell the oil on the box it makes me think of almond, milk, creamy, Tonka bean, vanilla. The oil/scent all over the box is divine but sadly the throw this candle has is average at best. I would personally say it’s below average. Now is that because so much oil leaked inside the box or would the scent throw still underperform regardless? I guess I’ll never know because I will not be ordering another. We purchase scented candles for the SCENT while burning, so when I get better throw from $4.00 candles from Wal-Mart or better throw from $18.00 Village Candles or from $15.00 Woodwick candles and Swan Creek Candles, there’s a problem. I also have to say I’ve burned this candle for a total of 6 hours so far and the wax has not completely liquefied on top so there’s another issue as that means it will burn uneven all the way down wasting wax. I also did some research and found that if you purchase this candle directly from the company’s website it will cost you $42…why is Amazon selling these for between $28-$32 with a coupon offered? Are these seconds? Do they know there’s a problem with the batches they have so that’s why they’re cheaper? So, I’ll leave you with a NO I do not recommend this candle. The quality just does not match the price even being discounted. EDIT: I see reviews saying this is giftable…do you see my photos LOL? Unless the person you are gifting to likes a leaking mess I would not suggest gifting this to anyone unless you’re able to inspect it first. Do NOT have it shipped directly to the person’s residence.

I bought this candle because I was looking for a true lavender scent. Unfortunately, it doesn’t smell like lavender at all. It does have a pleasant, floral fragrance though, and it’s beautifully made — the container is gorgeous and reusable (it would make a lovely vase once the candle is finished).

The printing of the design on this candle is top notch. It’s very elegant looking overall. I hazarded myself by purchasing something with dark green but I really wanted the scent. Jasmine is one of my favorite scents.
This would make a fantastic gift. It’s in the right price range. The star off is for the scent itself. It’s a straightforward Jasmine, fresh and sweet, but the amber is barely there. I purchased the candle ultimately specifically for the amber jasmine combination alone, and unfortunately the dark green gives me some problems lately.
So I might not repurchase but others would greatly like this. Just know that there is no complexity of scent, but it does smell “nice” and boosts the atmosphere of your place.

EDIT: Days after receiving
the 3 other candles I had to change my opinion (sad face). These candles are stunning (visually) that’s why I purchased 3 more after receiving the Moonlight Tuberose but I personally didn’t care for the other scents (Jasmine, Peony & Lavender-they had a somewhat pungent/sour smell imho) The Tuberose is the only scent I’m keeping, it smells so pretty. SO The packaging is still superb, the candles are still large and impressive! The scent of the candle I’m keeping (Tuberose) is strong, even when unlit. The jars/vessels are still beautiful, I will be repurposing (now only one) as vases to hold my plants! The soy wax burns evenly (only the Tuberose). Wicks are evenly spaced and trim up nicely when necessary (wicks on the other 3 are too skinny & curl). Be sure to burn for at least 4 hours each lighting, long enough for the wax to fully melt. I also bought the Jasmine, Lavender and Peony because I just couldn’t pass up the value (returning all 3, maybe I just got a bad batch?) M&Sense outshines the best of them! Scent, presentation, packaging, burn quality- all exceptional (I do still agree with the above and going to try other scents & hope they work out!)

It’s a nice candle, it was packaged with care, I am excited to use the vessel for decor once the candle burns out. One thing for sure, I was impressed the by the freaking size of it. I bought another candle for roughly the same price, a day apart and this one arrived second. I was not expecting there to be much of a difference in the size and weight only thinking that one was a few dollars more because of the flowers on it. I’m giving it 3 positive stars for the above mentioned, however , regarding the strength and overall essence, I do wish the aroma was more potent. I live in a one bedroom apartment. I’ve moved it from my single bedroom with the door closed to my smaller bathroom and gave it a shot in the living room (where it now lives because it is a stunning glass vessel ). If you’re buying for smell, like I was, I’d shop around. In comparison the other candle I purchased is actually my new fav despite how beautiful this one looks and burns.

Nice sized for the money. Burns slowly and evenly. Doesn’t smoke or give off any unpleasant burn smell. No scent that anyone here could discern, so I can’t really recommend as a scented candle. If you’re just looking for a “warm glow”, I guess this would work. Otherwise, would not recommend if you want a nice scent for your home.

I would easily give this candle 5 stars if the hot throw was stronger. The cold throw is wonderful and then you light it and the only time you can smell it is when you stand right over it or right next to it. That said, it is the cleanest and slowest burning candle I have come across in a long time. I wish it would fill a room with wonderful fragrance and then I could stop my search for the perfect candle. The price isn’t bad for a very large candle of this size. For $5 more than the very popular corporate 3-wick candle at just half the size of this one, this is a bargain! The picture I am showing you is after 3 hours burn time. The wicks are pure perfection and burn very lowly and clean. At this rate, I will be using this one for a while. I love the scent (eucalyptus) but just wish I could smell it across the room. Improve on that and you will have customers who never buy anything else. Still, a very nice candle
