My younger child loves crystals and I thought the green fluorite necklace would be an appropriate gift for her to take to college, since green fluorite supposedly helps to “foster focus and inspiration for learning and problem-solving” and improving “mental aptitude.” Sadly, this necklace was disappointing. The stone isn’t that large, the green color is very muted and the crystal didn’t have the anticipated clarity or shine. Also, while I like it that the length is adjustable, the cord looks cheap. The bottom line is that at its current price of $6.99, the necklace is too expensive for the poor quality. I definitely would not recommend it as a gift.

This is a simple, but nice raw crystal necklace. The double sliding knot cord is smooth, feels good against the skin, and can easily be shortened or lengthened. The crystal has an attractive shape when viewed from the front and a flat back, allowing it to fully rest on your chest. The adjustable cord allows it to be worn as a choker or a dangling style necklace. Highly recommended.
