Everything is plastic. Pretty cheap and small for being $15. And my figure arrived with his head broken off. I know they want you to contact them in those cases but it’s not worth going through the return process. Just an unfortunate incident. It’s an okay product.

I have this mini Zen garden on top of my printer at my desk. I love raking when I have a few minutes to “play”. The Buddha is really cute. It is just a fun thing to have around.

I gifted this to a co-worker who loves Zen gardens for her desk. She loved it and it is a nice touch as a decoration. It’s not very large but this makes it perfect for a desk or small table. Good quality, looks exactly as described, would order again.

i found that there is plenty of sand. the bag that is intended to hold the sand was struggling. Some of the sand spilled out throughout the box and coated the sand tray in a fine dust. easy enough to wipe away and dumped the sand in the plastic into the tray. the pieces and rocks are super cute just like the picture. its a good size and my rake seemed as sturdy as it could be. i may get a set of rakes and tools eventually, but the rake is good for now. overall, im happy.

This was purchased for a nine year old. He used one while in therapy and had a positive reaction to it so I bought one for home. It had helped him calm down when his anxiety gets high or he’s struggling with….life. The same is light and the accessories are sturdy and well made.

I will give this three stars and here’s why: The thing is cheap. It’s much smaller than I anticipated (it’s about the size on a small paperback chapter book and about as shallow). The dimensions are listed so that’s partly my fault for creating a bigger picture in my mind. It comes in a small box with 4 rocks, a small bag of sand (you get about 1cup worth), a bridge and a statue (both about the size of a sharpie cap), and a plastic rake. Here’s my issue and why I left off two starts from the review…it is incredibly cheap. This is $15 and it seems like a good deal compared to the other comparable ones on Amazon, until you open it. The box is cheap plastic, the rake is cheap plastic, the rocks are nice because well..they’re rocks, and the figures are nice, but the size and the amount of sand you get isn’t (in my opinion) worth $15. Maybe $10…but not $15. I can only imagine the profit margins this seller has. I would guess this set is being sold at 3-4x their cost, at least. However, It is still a sand garden and what I wanted so it will work. I didn’t need anything fancy, just something to sit in our living room. My grandfather passed away a few years ago from complications from dementia but before he got sick he was a brilliant lawyer and had an office in a big building downtown when I was little..he had one of these and it’s a memory I have so I wanted to get one for that reason. They’re really pretty and calming, and it will provide some entertainment for us and our six year old when he’s bored.

This is one of my meditating gear! Really like it. It is small. I think is great. I found a craft box from Walmart, and it fits perfectly. After I done with it, I can simply close the lid without worry messing it up or getting dusty. Didn’t expect this tiny sand plate is fun and great to play with.
