I work nights so I’ve been buying this for a while – I’ve taken melatonin pills but because this is liquid the surface area is already maximized and so therefore it hits you quick. I have longer, more restful sleep with this. They did just change the flavor within the last year so it’s still sweet and thick but I think they added beets to it for color or something? The only downside (and this is the same for any melatonin I’ve taken) is that with continued use I have wild dreams. Hyper realistic dreams that are frequently nightmare adjacent.

I bought this because I initially couldn’t find a different brand of 10 mg. liqiid that worked well for me, but I was disappointed. It is sickeningly sweet and so thick that it’s almost gelatin. I could live with those two things, but my biggest problem is that it doesn’t work as well as my previous brand. It has an effect, but not as noticeable a one as I was used to. The search continues.

This is my first time purchasing this on Amazon, my previous purpose was from a pharmacy store. Taste is not that great but it puts me to sleep quick if I relax. I found if I’m not relaxed, I can stay up all night after taking it. My biggest concern is that the consistency and color of the product has changed. It used to be clear and liquidity, now it’s pink, thick and slimy (See pics). I haven’t tried the new bottle yet. I did check the ingredients on the new bottle and looks like they added “beet root color” and used less Citric acid, so the recipe has changed slightly. I would not mind the change as long as it can still put me to night-night!
