The body wash (Glycolic Acid Smoother (?) I forgor <3), is great, and has many of the same ingredients as this scrub, however, I feel as though the added benefit of this being a *scrub* is the real game changer. I've suffered with KP for my whole life and got a really bad, full body, stress rash a year ago that left hyperpigmentation everywhere. Once my body was healed-ish, I needed something for the KP, hyperpigmentation, and my skin feeling like sandpaper. This stuff works almost instantaneously. It helped improve the look of my KP without feeling like I scrubbed 30 layers and a past-life's worth of skin off. The secret is to leaving it on and letting it tingle for a few minutes, lol! You gotta let the chemicals work! My skin has genuinely never felt as smooth and looked as good. 1-2 times a week is more than enough. Just ensure to wear sunscreen when out and applying a really good lotion/body cream packed with moisture. Love her!

I really like this scrub! I’ve struggled with KP and rough patches for years, and this actually makes a difference. It’s a nice mix of physical and chemical exfoliation, so my skin feels super smooth after using it. I usually leave it on for a minute like a mask, then rinse, and the bumps are way less noticeable. Doesn’t have a strong smell, and a little goes a long way. Definitely worth it if you deal with “strawberry skin” or just want softer, even skin.

So I bought this because paying $30 for the KP body scrub from First Aid Beauty is annoying and I wanted a cheaper alternative; who doesn’t wanna save 12 dollars if they can ya know?
The texture of the mask is lovely, very nice and thick, but there is something about the mask that stays in the crevices of my hands. I’ll just finish rubbing it on my arms and then I assume because the mask is so thick it just works it’s way into every fine line on my hand and then my hand immediately looks like I’m 50. Yes it washes off, but sometimes it’s harder to wash out of my hands than others. And when the mask is meant to stay on my arms for a few minutes I don’t want to have to scrub my hands clean under the water and then water splashing around causes the mask to rinse off my arm (yes that has happened to me before)…
My next complaint is that it has to stay on your skin for a few minutes in the shower to work. If you have no issue with turning the water off mid shower or just contorting your body to avoid water from hitting your arms, or if you have a big shower, then by all means go for it. But I have a small shower so I don’t have room to step out of the water unless I want to step out of the shower, which I don’t want to do because cold and I don’t want the water off either because again, cold. Having the mask sit on my arms becomes extra annoying for me because I do my body care when I’m having conditioner and hair masks sit in my hair. I can’t have both my head and my arms out of the water in a small shower, it’s just too difficult. I have had the mask rinse off my arms multiple times, and when this happens my kp isn’t going away as it should…
Lastly, the packaging of this mask is thiccccc. So thick that it’s hard to squeeze product out, and because of that it’s hard to use all the product available. So then I cut the packaging open and omg it was so hard to cut because it’s a thick plastic 🤣 But I needed to cut it open because about 1/4-1/8 of the product was still inside but I couldn’t squeeze it out.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend it based off my personal use, but if you don’t have the same issues that I do then by all means give it a try!

I’ve been using this body scrub for a while now, and it has become a staple in my skincare routine. This is actually my third repurchase of this product – that’s how much I love it.
One of the best things about this scrub is that it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth, without being overly harsh or abrasive. The pumice is finely grained. Many other exfoliating scrubs I’ve tried in the past have been too rough, leaving my skin feeling irritated. But this one gets the job done gently yet effectively.
Another big plus is that the scrub is fragrance-free, which I really appreciate. My skin tends to be sensitive, so I prefer products without added perfumes or scents.
What really sets this scrub apart, though, is the blend of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), beta hydroxy acids (BHA), and LHA. This multi-functional formula not only exfoliates to slough off dead skin, but also helps to address blemishes and smooth texture. My skin looks and feels refreshed and radiant after each use.
Overall, I can’t recommend this body scrub enough. It’s hands down the best exfoliating product I’ve found, and I’ll continue to repurchase it as part of my regular skincare routine.

I was using the First Aid Beauty KP scrub but it was a tad pricey so I picked this up. Love it even more! Texture is a bit less coarse but still exfoliates super well and is nice and moisturizing too. My skin is more on the sensitive side and this does not irritate it at all.

I’ve been using this body scub on my arms and I love that it’s not painful. My hands, arms feel sooo soft after exfoliating.
I use this product every 3 days because I do not want to overdo it.
I’m loving it! And it doesn’t have a strong scent either.

I use this scrub mask about once a week maybe twice and it works great. It doesn’t hurt to scrub in like others I’ve had in the past, and it really helps get rid of bumps. It doesn’t have any scent and it doesn’t bother my sensitive skin. I wish it had at least a tiny bit of scent but I can see why they’d leave it out.

I’ve always had kp bumps on the backs of my arms. I used a salicylic acid scrub (St Ives acne scrub) on my face for years so thought I’d try it on my arms as well. Every time I’d wash my face in the shower, I’d also use the scrub on my arms. This was my ritual for years but it was not strong enough to have much noticeable effect on the kp.
Came across this product and thought I would give it a try. After the first use, my arms were softer and smoother! However, my mistake was using my bare hands to rub it in. For days, my palms were raw and burning.
To be fair, I have a history of eczema on my hands (as well as other places) so the sensation of irritation, sensitivity, and pain was familiar. I just thought I was having another flair up. Only after using this scrub 3 times over the course of 2 weeks did I realize it was this product that was causing my hands to hurt. If it had been eczema, those episodes tend to last for months and don’t go away after only a couple days, plus I’ve been taking medication for it.
That said, I still like the results on my arms enough that I won’t stop using this scrub. But I now take the precaution to wear disposable gloves before rubbing it into my arms. Not always the most convenient when I’m in the shower, but it beats having painful hands.
So for those with very sensitive or eczema-prone skin, I would say be a little cautious with this product. It packs a punch with its combination of chemical and mechanical exfoliants. While effective for what it claims to do, I found it can have unintended effects on thinner skin.
