Sometimes older dogs have trouble sleeping. That was true of my Molly after she hit 14+ years. My husband’s partner recommended this doggy melotonin, and I was honestly gobsmacked by how well it worked. Don’t overdose your dog. Make sure you give the right number for the dog’s weight. But for us, at least, Molly had many peaceful nights because of this product.

I tried these calming chews on my dog. She loves them. They help calm her down as she is anxious for loud noises inside and outside. They smell good and she loves them. Just open the top, take out enough for the weight of the dog and it calms her down. It has Melaonin in it for calming effects. The brain naturally has melatonin in it, too. So it’s easy to use. These “treats” must taste great or she would take them. The quality is great because it works to calm my “baby”.

Highly recommend!! My 11 year old boxer mix has been pretty reactive with people she doesn’t know. I rescued her when she was 8 months old. She was not potty trained, didnt know how to be on a leash, had been abused, and she had zero confidence as a dog. They kept her in a cage all the time. She has a long tail and the fur on the entire tip is gone!! Because she would be wagging it constantly and it hit the sides of the cage and wore all the fur away.
I have noticed a few senior health things happening and need to have a vet visit. This is a new vet for us due to moving. They recommend that I give her a supplement to help her be chill for the check up.
I already get supplements from this company for her and found this product.
I gave her 2 soft chews and within 30 mins she was so relaxed. She went and layed down in her place and slept. She slept so calmly and deeply. It was wonderful seeing her so relaxed. She was back to her normal within 6 hours.
These supplements have been life changing for us. I would definitely recommend getting the smallest container and do a test run. Use the amounts that are given on the side of the box. My girl is almost 50 pounds and with her weight it recommends 2. Thats what I use.

I use this for my dog as he is terrified of thunder. I spray it on a towel and lay it in his kennel during bad weather. When he isn’t kenneled, I will spray it on his thunder jacket before putting it on him. Works amazingly well for him. Calms him down. It does have a weird smell, but it works and I’d prefer it worked over smelling pleasant.

Update: 2024 12 20 – The seller has reached out to me due to my original review, and I will give them FIVE STARS for that and support of their product. Coming from the violent background that my little girl did, I will say that maybe she is just too afraid of everything yet for any product such as this to really work. OR MAYBE I just didn’t give her “enough” at one time to help. I’m really cautious on “meds” for any pet I have, and she could very well be that one exception to any rule. I have only had her since April of this year, and it took her a few months to realize TOYS were to play with and chew on if she wanted to; and the noises and commotion in the apartment building I live in (not the best environment) gives her reason to be on guard all the time. I got these for my newly adopted baby girl. She came from Texas and was in a violent, backyard, hoarding, breeding situation. When I got her, she was just about to turn two. Everything in her new environment was scary for her. THESE DID NOT HELP CALM her down even a little that I could see. Now, it’s been a few months and she is starting to realize that people around us will not hurt her or kick her and she’s starting to trust people for the first time. She does not leave my side, but trying to help calm her even for a walk … well, these just didn’t help her out.

These calming chews have been really helpful for my dog, especially during thunderstorms and fireworks. She usually gets anxious and paces around, but after giving her one, she’s noticeably more relaxed and comfortable. I like that they’re soft and easy to chew, no struggle getting her to eat them since she actually likes the bacon and chicken flavor.
The texture feels fresh, not dry or crumbly, and the jar keeps them sealed well. I also like that they don’t have a strong smell like some supplements do. They’ve become part of our routine before vet visits or long car rides, and they make those situations a lot easier for both of us.

These calming dog supplement chews work pretty well for my pup. The ingredient list is really nice and feels a lot cleaner than some other calming treats I’ve looked at. I’ve noticed that when we’re not home, she seems more relaxed and less on edge, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
One big plus is that she actually enjoys eating them… no hiding them in peanut butter or bribing her to take them. They’re more like a treat to her, which makes things easy.
Overall, they’re not a magic fix, but they genuinely help take the edge off and keep her calmer. I’d definitely buy them again.

I’ve tried both the chewable tablets and the chews. Both work equally well, but in some slightly different ways. The tablets seem to be a bit stronger in dose, like one tablet is all that’s needed to knock my pup into a deep sound sleep, whereas 2-3 chews are needed to make my just under 60 Ibs 9-month old golden pup sleepy. However, she definitely prefers the chews over the tablet and will eat the chews like it’s a treat. I’d have to smother the tablet in peanut butter just to get her to swollen it because she’d chew it and spit it out soon after, since the tablets are kinda big and also chalky. The size of the tablet is about the size of a quarter. If you have a pickier pup, go for the chews and just get a slightly bigger package (to last longer). If you’ve got a large breed too, it will also take a couple more chews to have it work effectively, but that’s perfectly fine with us!

Our 10 yr old male border collie started to breath heavily in the evening time and could not get comfortable. Jumping on our bed several times and whining. Checked for injuries or other, he was fine. Vet said could be doggy anxiety and/or dementia. I read it could also be sundowning. Vet recommended Trazodone for anxiety at night which we did, it seemed to work. In the mean time we looked for a more natural option and found this product. Oh my gosh, it works great. We do a couple of sprays in all the areas he may lay and watch him transform from a heavy breathing, whining, unable to get comfortable doggy to a normal breathing, relaxed deep sleeper for the night. Thus far we really like this product. It smells great and I would think it has health benefits for our pup. It absolutely works on his anxiety, possible doggy dementia or sundowning.

This is the best product we’ve found that really works great! Use it for thunderstorms, Fireworks or if you’re going to be away from home, this helps them to calm down and works within 30 to 45 minutes depending on the weight of your dog. (There’s a weight chart on the container on how many pieces to give them per weight.)

Hasn’t worked as I had hoped for my 10-year-old Belgian Malinois. According to other reviews, I think maybe smaller breeds seem to have the best results. I tried this brand, hoping to have even better results than a competitor I have been using. She likes the taste. I even upped the amount a bit to see if she just needed a bit more. Overall, I am so happy that it is working for other sweet dogs, but for my girl, I am not seeing any added calm.

We’ve used this 3 days and so far it is very effective at relieving his anxiety. Our 11-year old border collie has been dealing with horrible anxiety since we moved into an RV park (while our house is being built). We didn’t want to give him Prozac the veterinarian recommended. This is a better option. We give him 2 about 10 AM and this helps him through the day.

I work at my local Animal Shelter and adopted an ‘animal hoarding/neglect’ four month old puppy. He has slowly come out of his shell – with me – over time. This is the only dog I have ever had that I didn’t immediately crate train. One, I didn’t see the need, as he rarely moved. Two, I didn’t want to attempt it and have it cause him more harm than good. This worked nicely for a while. Eventually, he started licking armpits and crying all night because I wasn’t awake to give him 100% of the attention he wanted. I tried to just ignore it, hoping it would go away with time but it didn’t. So, I gave him his own room. Made it all cozy, etc. That worked for about a week. He decided he was going to eat the blinds, the carpet, the door, anything he could find. So, I broke down and bought the crate. He seemed to love it for the first couple of days, and then the non-stop barking and scratching at the cage ensued. I saw the reviews on this and hoped that it would help us all to be more comfortable.
It was going to be nearly a week until I received it and so in the meantime, I got him a new bed and put it in my room at the foot of the bed. He slept there almost perfectly the entire time. I thought that even when this did arrive, I probably just wouldn’t worry with the crate anymore, since his licking and crying issue seemed to have pretty well come to an end.
I finally received these and gave one to my boy immediately. No change, I have seen several people on reviews say that the recommended dosage didn’t do anything, but that when they give more, it will work. So, I gave my boy another. He became a barking, inconsolable idiot. Talked shit All. Night. Long. When I would reach out to pet/console him, he would try to bite at my hands as if it were playtime. Finally, around two am, into the kennel he went. It is now 8 am and he is still pacing and anxious, although the barking has let down just a little.
I read one review that said she had to give this to her dogs for weeks in order for it to start making any difference in their behavior, so, I will continue to give it a try. If my experience goes as hers does, I will revise my star rating and update my review. But, I have to say, based on immediate ‘for travel, grooming, or stressful situations’, I 10/10 would NOT recommend this product.

Unfortunately this did not work for my 6lb Yorkie. He is deadly afraid of the groomers and has a lot of anxiety when he rides in the car. It took a lot of coaxing to get him to even eat it (yes he’s very picky). And after he finally had one supplement, he was even more nervous and anxious than he had been before!

I have an 11 year old Silky Terrier named Bella.
She is the sweetest, family dog. That being said, she’s getting very restless and fidgety at night.
I am her primary caretaker, so if she’s up all night, so am I.
This has been an issue for months now and I was getting no sleep and very annoyed.
Bella was prescribed Gabapentin but it didn’t seem to help and the liquid was impossible to get her to take.
