I received this as a Christmas gift. Turned it on in my bathroom and OMG! It’s just like the picture. You can charge it and take it with you, you don’t need a plug in. I also noticed that the little clear plastic battery protector can slide in and out, which means the battery is protected when I’m not using the light. I loved it so much I ordered a second one for my sister! One thing though, this light is plastic and very lightweight but makes a beautiful northern lights on your bathroom walls and ceiling!

Pretty nice lighting effect to add to any room that’s affordable. Has several single color modes and a few that morph.
It’s made of all plastic and very light weight. A motor rotates the lighting device inside the translucent cube and is slightly audible but should not be distracting or annoying except to the most sensitive.
It’s bright with adjustable levels. Alone, it won’t light an entirely dark room in a standard sense but acts more as a night light / aesthetic appeal. In other words: don’t rely on this for your primary lighting.
It works as intended and happy with product. My only concern is the longevity. I hope this lasts at least a few years before dying; will update if or when it does.

Pleasantly surprised by this thing. One thing I don’t love is it uses USB power, but from a fixed built-in cable which is quite short for anything higher than a nightstand. It also doesn’t play nice with every USB charger block, it took me a few tries to find one that would give it power. Otherwise, it does exactly what it should and looks really nice. The plastic enclosure is, as far as I can tell, clipped and glued, so no points on repairability. It uses a standard mass-market RGB remote for the color selection.

I LOVE the aquatic ambience these give off. The simple ice cube design is lovely. I use both in my bedroom to maximize the effect, but even one placed at a central point in a room would be great. I didn’t need white noise or music—I just wanted relaxing lighting. The color options are amazing and they’re overall great value. I’ve only used them with the remote, so I can’t speak to ease of use without it. I figure even if they don’t last forever, it’ll be worth it.

I was a bit unsure how safe this would be in my tiny studio bathroom, but thankfully the cord/plug is opposite of my shower, it’s far from any contact with water (and me), and I take very short showers. I’ve been meaning to find something soothing for my showers as I’m a very anxious person who uses showers to relax from a long busy day fully. This light has MANY different colors but even the darkest blue 🔵 is really bright in direct eye contact. The ripples are reflected all over my bathroom and behind a double shower curtain set up. It is so wonderful to have this on with relaxing music and a hot shower. I love the rippling look in my shower. I’ll be sure to keep it on my lists just in case the humidity finally gets to it.
Mechanics: I keep the remote control far from the shower. It’s useful but I don’t really use it much. I mostly change the setting or turn it off through a waterproof button after drying off.
Many showers later and it’s still clean and sturdy.

I bought this light hoping to add a little ambiance to our daughter’s room. She is 4 and diagnosed with autism level 3. — It completely exceeded expectations. It turned our room into a calming sensory retreat with just one cube.
✅ What I Loved:
• The 3D ripple effect casts beautiful shadows across the ceiling and walls, especially when paired with our climbing wall and cozy setup.
• The 16-color options let us switch between soothing blues for bedtime and vibrant purples for playtime.
• The remote and app controls are intuitive — even my 10-year-old can adjust the colors and effects without help.
• It’s lightweight but surprisingly bright, and the cube design fits perfectly on a bed, shelf, or nightstand.
⚠️ What Could Be Better:
The power cord is a bit short, so plan to use an extension if your outlet isn’t nearby. Also, the cube can tip if bumped, so we placed it on a soft surface where it’s less likely to fall. There is no option to use batteries, so know that it has to be plugged up to be of use.
🎯 Final Thoughts:
This is a fantastic choice for families, sensory-friendly rooms, or anyone who wants to add a touch of magic to their space. It’s become part of our nightly routine, and I’d absolutely buy it again. If you need a very affordable, functional calming sensory light, this one is great!

Edit: March 4, 2026: It was 5 stars, now 3 and here is why; the electric motor stopped working in just 45 days. My daughter was devastated. So after a 14 hour work day I went to the workbench and proceeded to disassemble the light. I removed the little electric motor and added some lithium grease to its tiny little bushings. Reassemble the light, and….. it works again…. for now. It really is a beautiful night light, but it is very cheap. Just know that you will need to fix your light eventually.
