My 11 yo cat has severe IBD/IBS that the vets can’t explain or find a cause for and his liver was slightly enlarged from all the inflammation. After steroids almost did him in we had to stop all treatment and after the vet had no explanation for declining health, not for lack of trying, we turned to holistic treatments to at least give him a better quality of life. We added the kidney gold at a low dose (2 drops up to six drops a day, once every six hours) to battle inflammation and it’s really made a huge difference. We feed him a raw diet, home made pork bone broth for calories/nutrition, and a cat multi-vitamin two times a day. Probiotics are not advised for cats with liver problems which we didn’t know, so we took those out and he improved further. Impressive changes so far.

Back in June (2022), my little girl, Cloud, disappeared for three weeks and came back ragged, thin and she appeared to be yellow in the eyes, ears and other visible skin areas. She did not eat, drink or groom herself.
After taking her to the emergency vet, they assessed her and ran both blood and urine tests and her liver enzymes were in the 350 range. The vets provided all their options including hospitalization (2500.00), euthanization and then home-care (provided a 25% success rate). On August 18, 2017 my 9 year old cat was diagnosed with Liver Failure and Chronic Renal Failure, vet told me that we cannot know exactly the damage that the liver has but that it wasn’t totally damaged. I will gladly add an extra star if later on follows initial impression. I am started off modest to make sure there is no interaction. My cat is 18 and on Phenolbarbitol for seizures. Phenolbarbital taxes the liver and at 18, it’s a battle. I have heard amazing things about this product and I have high hopes.
So far, after a few days I have increased the drops to 3/4 his weight requirement without issue. I find this to be promising considering he is extremely sensitive to any type of supplement or medication. If it is not gentle, he won’t tolerate it and this seems to be working out just fine.
I will follow up in one month to rate again, but I have a feelling I will be adding that extra star based on what I see now.

Our cat was pretty ill, to the point that she had jaundice (yellowing of the skin due to liver issues). She was very weak with little energy and loss of appetite. We started doing research when we came across milk thistle and we were intrigued on the reviews due to the specified capabilities of the product. So we decided to purchase the product and give it a try and to our surprise it is helping a lot. Our cat does not take the milk thistle on its own, we do mix it in with food, but by doing this she has no issues taking it. She now has more energy, is actually up walking around, and playing. She has also regained her appetite and does not seem to have a yellowing to her skin anymore. Now this product isn’t like really cheap, but it also is not overly expensive and in our opinion well worth the money!

Bought this as an alternative to the powered milk thistle in the capsule that my vet recommended but my cat wouldn’t touch in his food. He will eat this in a lickable treat we just give half a dose per half a treat twice a day and he gets the full dose. We haven’t taken him in for blood work since giving him the liquid milk thistle but he hasn’t had any poop problems since taking it and seems to feel better so we take that as a good sign. Will continue to purchase this.

I have used this for my cats as a supplement in the hope it will help to keep them and their livers a little healthier. Both cats were happy to eat in their evening meals, so the taste must be fine. It smells fine too. The Pet Wellbeing brand is good quality, and this is reflected in the high price (currently around £58 for a 118ml bottle) so only the user can judge its value for money. Easy to administer using the dropper inside the bottle cap. It is hard to state its effectiveness, but I hope it does its job for my boys.

The vet recently gave us a liver supplement for our senior tortie, and our picky princess flatly refused to go near it. So we turned to Pet Wellbeing, who we already use for other supplements, and our girl has taken to it without issues.
The taste is bacon, which she seems to enjoy; it’s fat free, and has no nasty additives. Dosing instructions are clear, as are markings on the pipette. We had a question for Customer Service and they replied quickly with a lot of helpful information, so that’s a plus too!
Always good quality ingredients from this brand, and they really have been helping our senior stay in tiptop condition. Yes it’s expensive but in our opinion, it’s worth the money for a quality, beneficial supplement.

(pictures eating food and laying on blanket are before & at the start of using this product, two photos of him with a string are from today 6/2/2021). this company is a MIRACLE. three years ago, i used their kidney products to save my dogs life, who the vet recommended we put down as there was nothing else they could do for him. i recently moved into a new home and my 5 year old cat began losing weight and stopped eating entirely, even his favorite treats. he lost 4 pounds and was so skinny that i could feel each individual bump on his spine and his fur on his back stood up and was spikey. when i took him to the vet, we thought it may be a dental issue because he was trying to eat but would drop anything he put in his mouth. bloodwork revealed that he was developing a fatty liver and the vet recommended that i force feed him. i did it for a few weeks without seeing much improvement or weight gain and after an emotional breakdown with my boyfriend over our sweet baby’s declining health, i realized i needed to check this company’s products and find something for the liver. i began to mix it in with the liquid food i was force feeding him and i am not joking when i tell you that his personality started coming back after the first use. he had been depressed and hiding in closets for weeks and that all stopped after his first dose. it has now been about a month and i am so so grateful that i have my cat back. he has put weight back on, he is eating normally again, he plays and acts like his normal self. please please do not give up on your animals before giving this company a chance. they have literally saved two of my pets lives now. my cat will he getting his liver enzymes rechecked in a few months but all of the symptoms he was displaying before have left. i cannot spread enough good words about this company and i am begging you to give them a try before you believe that there is nothing left. when my dog went back to the vet after using the kidney products, they were baffled and said it was a miracle that he was alive and recovering. this company is a godsend ❤️
