This is a must have for newbies and anyone interested in quick references for Tarot. I just ordered this as a replacement for the book I’ve been using since the late 1990’s. It’s a great quick reference tool even when using a simple playing cards deck. The info seems to be agelessly relevant.

This is a good quick reference for beginners or even advanced readers when you get a brain fog or interpretation bias. This can happen especially when reading the cards for yourself or someone you know. Though it does not replace intuition and building your own understanding of each card; that only comes with experience and practice. Nice small book that is easy to carry with you for times you may do reading exchanges or attend a Tarot group.

I know it is hard to believe that this small pocket Tarot guide is one of the best guides to Tarot on the market, but it’s true. I had the older version and this one is levied with a new layout, and it looks great! The author was a master astrologist who just happened to also REALLY know the Tarot. Symbolism for the Rider-Waite-Smith deck is clearly explained, not just reading interpretation, including reverse meanings, exoteric and esoteric meanings. Love it!
