Poor quality steel so it came slightly bent and the ring that holds the handle is loose and allows the handle on one of them to slide up and then doesn’t rotate easily

I live in the southwest, where water is a real concern, and everyone is looking for it. I don’t know the evidence for or against dousing rods, but someone gave me a pair without the handles and everyone was interested and amazed by these little copper rods so I decided to order some with handles. Many old timers here swear they work! I just think it’s fun and fun to talk about and see in person.
