Let me start by saying I adopted two kittens about 7 months ago and had no clue they were feral. I got them from a rescue and one is polite the other we still cannot touch and in fact will hiss and grower if you walk by or get to close. This one injured herself and we have no idea how and so we had to use a live trap to safely get her to the vet. She was great while scared and shaking at the vet but the moment we got home she as right back to the behavior. The vet gave me meds to try but she refused to eat and again I can’t touch her to give them to her. I have purchased cat help oil and everything you can imagine naturally to try from calming treats to plug in pheromones. This we noticed within an hour she actually ate it and allowed up to get close enough to touch her. I pray it just gets better for her. I pray she relaxes and enjoys peacefully living her life without the anxiety.

I can’t even explain the difference this had made. I honestly didn’t think this would work but my vet recommended it. We were about to put my husbands cat on cat version of elavil but we thought why not try it. We had trained all cats 9 months every day, separate rooms, tried the easing into the same room, tried the plug ins, our previous home she had destroyed with peeing everywhere and then hiding in a litter box then the cats I had would come check it out of get so worked up they would then get her or pee I mean it was just insanity. It got to a point this year after my husband went to thirds with a weird schedule not consistent and she licked all her hair off her stomach. That was the final straw. We gave this powder to all the cats and now it’s the most peaceful home. Praise God daily for the work He did to help us and the cats and our vet for recommending this. It has been truly a blessing!
These pictures would have never been possible before without this product.

Me and my cats love this product. I give it to them first thing in the morning, alongside their breakfast. Because they enjoy the flavor so much, I turn the probiotic into a paste by adding a little water. I spread it across a small, flat plate and they lick it up in seconds.
My girl (6mo), was easily overwhelmed and very shy regarding physical contact. After doing a bit of research on how I could reduce her social anxiety, I came across this probiotic. Within two weeks of using it she is very social, loves affection and seems well adjusted.
My boy was always very affectionate but was very fearful of loud/foreign noises. He’d run and hide at the sound of loud wind or the sound of the vacuum. After taking this probiotic he’s no longer fearful of these noises.
I’d highly recommend.

I am shocked as to how well Purina Calming Care for cats has worked!… I adopted an abandoned 1 yr old VERY large 15 lb (un-neutered) male kitty 1 1/2 yrs ago & got him neutered immediately. The challenge was I already had a super mellow 11 lb 15 yr old male cat that the young “brute” despised… Right out of the starting gate the new male addition began attacking my older boy on a regular basis. I knew he was very jealous of him. Un-fortunately, my 15 yr old cat was being bullied weekly by the young male. I tried EVERYTHING from pheromone collars, diffusers, sprays, shock collar (1 week), & CBD oil, & none of these things would stop the brute’s weekly stalking attacks. There were more than numerous occasions I felt I would have to re-home the new cat. (Last week’s attack on my 15 yr old was so brutal that I had planned to surrender the young male cat to the SPCA the next day.)… Later that same night directly following the attack, I read an article about Purina Calming Care. It almost sounded too good to be true & too simple to work so well. But, what did I have to lose? After all, I had tried everything else…. I have been giving the young male cat 1 packet of the Calming Care sprinkled & mixed into his wet food every early evening for the past 5 evenings. (I chose the evening time to give him the Calming Care because 95% of the time his “Bully Attitude” / attacks would happen in the evenings & outdoors where he would “ambush” my older male cat.)… Well, I’ll be darn! For the past 5 nights, I have had a perfect young male “gentleman” cat hanging out with me on my living room couch. He is thoroughly calm & behaves like any other normal cat. He’s not the amped, fired-up young “male stud” cat wanting to go outside at night to be / act like a typical, on-the-prowl, fighting Tom Cat like he use to be. Now, the young boy seems perfectly content… AND, not 1 hair on my 15 yr old male cat’s body has been touched by the young “brute” in the past 5 days…. I can honestly say that I am truly baffled as to how something so simple as probiotics, specifically “BL999,” which is what’s in Calming Care, could work so doggone well. But, so far, it has brought a great deal of peace into my home, & has changed a cat from being a Bully to a content cat that I’m really wanting to keep… Even my sweet 15 yr old male cat is a bit confused & surprised with the peaceful change. : )

This calming care supplement works great for my kitty “Misty.” It helps with her anxiety and stops her from pulling her fur out. She is much more calm with this product. I sprinkel it on her food. She likes it because it has a liver flavor.

The packets in my most recent box don’t have the normal amount of powder in them. I’ve ordered this product multiple times here on Amazon and the packets were at least half full. The most recent box we received about a week ago, the packets are not even 1/4 full. I’m not sure if it’s the box we got was manufactured wrong or if others are having this same issue recently. It took 2 packets to get the same amount as 1. I’m working on trying to get a replacement. This product works great for our male cat

I did notice less fighting and tension between my 2 females on this, and i did notice firmer stools. However, for the price I probably wont keep them on this long term. It was good to try to see if we could avoid a medication like prozac for my girl cat.
They did eat it without alot of coaxing! they seem to like the taste

I have two cats – an older (5 yrs) rescue cat that I’ve had a few years, and a newer (<8 months) cat who was born feral. The older cat is like 98% tolerant but then hisses occassionally at the newcomer kitty. The new cat is displaying typical post-feral behavior: hiding under furniture, body language that shows she's scared, etc.
I’ve had the younger cat for about a month and have been using this on both cats for about 10 days. While the newer cat is showing more signs to being trusting, and the older cat is hissing less, I’m not entirely sure how much, if any, behavior changes can be directly attributed to this product, and how much is just simply growing trust.
For both cats, I mix the powder into wet food, and they eat it quite enthusiastically. (Which is a great comparison to “calming treats”, which both cats ignore as if they *know* the treats are meant to help them!)
If it’s helping, great, but if not, it doesn’t seem to do any harm. Just not seeing any sharp changes in behavior – this is not a magic powder, but it MIGHT be helpful.

these work really well on several levels – First as a probiotic, which seems to help with my kitties’ digestion. Plus they have nutritional value, and seem to help with my kitties’ ‘tudes. They are an excitable bunch, and finicky. I add about half a pouch to their food, twice a day, and my kitties seem to like the taste plus I feel the added probiotics help with digestion and nutrition. I have one kitty that wants to lick this right from the bowl, but the taste is palatable to all my cats.

My cat is an adult. My cat has always been naturally skittish. He hates company and my guests used to think he was a myth. A few days of this amd he actually comes out to see the guests every so often. His social anxiety is so much less. He lets more people pet him now. That alone is worth the price and 5 stars. Cat parents: THIS STUFF ACTUALLY WORKS.

My tortie kitty for some reason would turn a bit feral in the mornings and would hiss and bite. I tried this because I already give her the Purina Hydracare. Mix it in at bedtime–it must taste good to cats because she licks the bowl clean. I think it is working. She’s a calmer kitty, sweet and loving. Highly recommend.

We have a diluted orange boy and a tuxedo girl who have their *quirks*. Orange boy is a certified sour patch kid but worse. He’s the ex that will run you over with their car and have the audacity to offset the felony by driving you to the hospital. For some reason he is just a bully so we tried some more enrichment of letting him experience the backyard under supervision, i.e a leash (they are all indoor cats). Didn’t work but what did start is him screaming at 3-5am to go outside. Specifically coming to my side of the bed to scream at me, not my wife. His meow sounds like a women screaming bloody murder though so this rattling us out of bed every single morning was less than ideal. Nothing quite like your fight or flight response getting triggered before the day even started.
Tuxedo girl was a street rescue, we believe someone abandoned her in the parking lot we found her in, for days she never left the area not even for food. She was still very young around 6-7 months at that time. It took us multiple nights to build the trust to when she came home with us but even now, if we are cleaning or moving too much stuff around, she won’t be seen for 3-4 business days strictly cause of that. She is very skittish if we make sudden movements still. Luckily her and the orange boy were around the same age at the time she was rescued so he taught her how to be a cat a bit but she still doesn’t quite grasp playing. We found out the day after we brought her home that she was not spayed and would have trouble making the move to get her spayed due to her being heart worm positive with the potential of complications. So since she has come of age now (were about a 1yr and 4 months) – I’ve never wanted to unhear a sound as much as I do now. I’m not sure how cats view that hollering as a proposition/invitation but Godspeed.
—With that background—
They’ve been getting this mixed in with their dinners (half wet and dry food plus beef broth/water mixture) for a little over a week and a half. Since then, I have had peace. My girl is seeking out what she calls “play” far more especially with our youngest addition. We are currently going through her first heat with her being on this and the nights into the mornings are surprisingly quiet so far. She actually just sleeps on our schedule finally. My boy hasn’t been playing AS rough (it’s not a miracle powder, he will still commit acts of violence) with his siblings and has actually been taking care of the kitten. And again, peaceful mornings. I didn’t anticipate it working as good or as quickly for what we needed regarding our problematic 4 legged children but here we are. I wouldn’t recommend just throwing it on dry food if that has been a complaint about cats not liking this cause I mean.. would you just raw dog eating some dirt on dehydrated bits? It’s not powdered sugar on a donut. To each their own cause all cats are different, don’t expect miracles but hopefully this lovely essay gives some perspective at least.

I wouldn’t say this has calmed my cats down to 0% crazy, but I do think it has taken the edge off. Less crazed zoomies at night. They also PREFER their food with this now lol. Meow when given food without this sprinkled on. I wish it wasn’t so expensive.

So far so good. I give half a packet to two of my cats. One is anxious/spicey and the other is a young male with tons of energy and zero brain cells. She’d hiss and hit him if he just walked past her – he’d confuse it for playing. Cycle continues. The one cat is no longer hiding above the cabinets. She isn’t being overly aggressive either. She’s started to sleep on the couch. The boy has calmed some. Sleeps almost the whole night and actually listens when you tell him no instead of giving in to his inner thoughts (if he has any). I have one other cat who sometimes tries to eat their food and he does throw up afterwards but not sure if that’s the food that doesn’t agree with him or the the packet.

My 10 year old males cat had been extra clingy for months and more recently started crying at night and at dawn, wandering the hallways and looking down the stairs. He seemed confused and I wasn’t sure if he was looking for a cat that he had a strong bond with who passed away 5 years ago. He would jump on on the bed and just look all around and sniffed everything – Couldn’t relax. The first day I gave him a whole packet with his wet food. I swear there was a difference that first day. It’s now been two weeks of giving him half a packet daily, and he is a different cat! No more clinginess, no crying. Sleeps through the night and is alert during the day. Even plays a little with the younger cat like he used to. This product is a life-saver for both me and my kitty!

My cats love this powder and want it at every meal. It contains L theanine and I originally purchased it from my vet to relax an anxious kitty who suffered from incurable idiopathic cystitis. now he has no more issues and I use this powder to entice him to eat when it’s not his favorite food. They both love it as a treat especially in the evenings, so they are less inclined to disturb us with the zoomies.
Relaxes the pets and improves appetite. I always have it on hand.

I recently had to take in a new kitty. To say that my cat hasn’t been pleased would be an understatement, especially as the size of our apartment means that I wasn’t able to separate them as much as I’d want. So I’ve been collecting various items that would help soothe both cats and make the introduction process a little bit smoother.
So far it seems to be working, but it’s very slow going. I did take a bit of a break with giving it to them, which was a mistake. People have said that this takes a while to kick in and it requires that the cats consume this on a daily basis. They are not kidding with this, as this needs to be consistent. It wasn’t a miracle cure for kitty anxiety and frustration, but I will say it helped take the edge off. Combined with other things like Feliway, it seems to work pretty decently as long as you are consistent.
As far as ease of getting them to consume it, I had to mix this into their wet food. It took two tries to get the new cat to eat the wet food but once she got used to the taste she was fine. Older cat chowed down on it with no issues.

We adopted a cat who was showing signs of aggression toward our current cat. I purchased this and gave it for the full 6 weeks. I added it to water for a little paste and the cat loved it. Did it work and help calm the cat or did the passing of time help and the cat got used to our house and other cat?? Not sure which one it was. It was well over a month before the new cane started to interact without a lot of issues.

I have an elderly cat that is skinny and not at all food motivated but goes crazy when I ask her if she wants “sprinkles” – only issue is the probiotics work so if I give more than one a day we’ll have litterbox misses resulting from emergencies.

I have two cats. One is fine living her pampered life. My other cat, who was adopted into the house first, is the instigator and will pick on my second cat. I give the instigator cat this calming formula and it does the trick. She relaxes and sleeps all day. I don’t give it to her every day as there isn’t enough information on the calming ingredients effect on cats organs. I also use Feliway plug in, which normally keeps the house peaceful, but every few weeks my instigator cat decides to act up and I shut it down with this calming formula. I recommend this product.

Good supplement that was recommended by our vet, really calmed her down, she was over grooming to the point she had bald spots and they recommended this to see if it would chill her out, and it worked! Doesn’t have any bad smell, she likes the taste of it and eats it just dusted over some dry food, for whatever reason this cat isn’t a fan of moist food, she just prefers dry kibble, but she licks all the powder out of her bowl no problem. We are happy with it and keep ordering more, we took a pause on using it for a month just to see that it was making an improvement and it wasn’t something else and her problem came back, went back to the calming care powder and the problem went away again, so it definitely does work.
