This is a great product. I had to try something because at 62 everything was hurting.I have worked in manufacturing my whole life and spend 10-11 hours a day standing on concrete floors. Back, hips, knees, ankles, feet all hurt. After taking this for a couple of weeks all the pain is gone. I think it really helps with inflammation and will continue taking this daily. I also started taking a magnesium pill at night before bed.

I have taken turmeric/curcumin for years per advice from GI doc and have mostly relied on Qunol products. After the last several bottles I’ve received, I’m switching to another brand permanently. I’m with the others that talk about the Cheeto/Dorito orange powder – it’s all over the bottle/pills and can stain everything if not careful. Wash hands immediately after handling. Not a huge deal and I think it is at least the real thing, but the quality control in the factory is just not there anymore. It makes me think they might be lax in other production aspects. I’ve moved on to another brand that doesn’t leak powder, so I know it can be done. And I know it has good efficacy as I’m checked for inflammation regularly. Five stars for turmeric in general but Qunol can do better.

Actually I started giving this to my 13 year-old labrador retriever. I noticed she was limping quite a bit and was hard for her to get up at times. I’ve given her three or four of these capsules every day and after about a month she is walking much better. I checked with the vet and she said she prescribes it often and you can’t really overdose on it. I’m 75 and it’s hard for me to get up sometimes too, so I started taking it. Stay tuned. I’ll let you know on the next bottle.

I just want to confirm what others say about staining things orange. Even in my bottle, which has no loose powder, the capsules will stain a white bowl orange just being in it for a few seconds. Turmeric is used as an organic food dye, so you’d think the manufacturer of these capsules would be aware of the potential staining problem and take precautions.
As far as being a useful supplement goes, I know there are a lot of people claiming this is a natural miracle cure for lots of things. I personally have noticed no improvement in back pain, no less inflammation, no digestion improvement or increase in energy. I’ve been taking a form of Turmeric, including this one, for over 4 months now. If it’s helping me at all, I certainly can’t tell. I’ll probably keep on taking it anyway since I have the capsules and they aren’t too hard to swallow.

I’m persuaded that the anti-inflammatory properties of this supplement are adequate for me, so I guess that’s the main thing. I also like that it includes the black pepper (helpful with absorption) and ginger (which I’d just as soon get from actual ginger root; I like it, but it’s not faithfully a part of my daily diet.) I switched to this from a random brand of 500mg capsules taken morning & evening. Didn’t think I needed even that full gram, so I only take one of these pricey pills each day, allowing the bottle to last me 3 months. Goes down easy for me and, at the reduced dosage I’m taking (or even at 1000 mg/d) I’m not bothered by GI ill effects.
I’ve not had the same experience as some have with broken open capsules spewing orang mess everywhere, but there is indeed a fine dusty coating on each pill which, before I realized that is what was staining my hands, led me to wonder if I hadn’t gotten careless with a yellow highlighter or — worse — was becoming jaundiced! My entirely unaffected sclerae (whites of the eyes) reassured me that it was just powder from the turmeric. I do think the calamity of this staining business is a bit overblown, though — the bright yellow mostly washed off my hands with soap & water, and any residual discoloration faded without incident. Now I just take care to minimize skin contact and not to handle anything else after dosing until I wash immediately. Not that big a deal for me, so I’ve only ding-ed it one star re: the “mess factor.”
I’m satisfied enough at this point to order another bottle. Your mileage may vary.

This supplement helped me with a severe back issue that basically required surgery. I used it exactly for that to lower inflation by taking 1 pill a day. It will not happen overnight but your body willl heal itself over time and you will definitely be in a better place. This pill will help you get there..GAME CHANGER in a natural way.
