Background: Over the years, I’ve bought a variety of massagers, all of which turned out to be pretty much useless for one reason or another but primarily because they didn’t even come close to actually massaging. It took some severe hip pain to entice me to try again.
Cons:
The instructions that accompany the massager are inadequate. There isn’t even a diagram. One is, apparently, simply expected to know how to put on/take off an attachment or how to use the stand. This isn’t a trivial oversight. I could quite easily have damaged the device while trying to figure out how to remove the ball which comes installed in the massager. (If you’re not going to tell people how to install/remove an attachment, it would be wiser not to ship the device with an attachment already installed.) And it took several minutes to figure out how to set the massager into the stand. As others have mentioned, the stand cannot hold all of the attachments which makes one wonder why RenPho even bothered to include it.
(I went to the web site hoping to find better information, but it was actually less useful than the small manual that somes with the massager. So, FYI: You remove attachments by twisting them to the left. When they’re free, it is easy to pull them off. To install an attachment, you put it on the stem and twist to the right until the attachment is firmly seated. As for the stand, that indentation at the raised end is where the massager goes, with the attachment head down and facing towards the lower part of the stand.)
Many reviewers have commented on the weight as “slightly heavy”. I’d say “very heavy”. Also, although the long handle may make it easy to reach distant spots (especially if you are tall), it makes it extremely awkward to use for “spots” (e.g., thigh or hip) that are not so distant.
Pros
I’ve only had the massager for a few days so I cannot comment on its reliability (which is one reason, in addition to the poor quality of the instructions, that I’ve given it only 3 stars). I was pleased to discover that the massager arrived almost fully charged, so I didn’t have to wait long to use it, and, as a massager, it is quite effective. I’ve found the “finger-type” attachments most useful for my needs at the moment, but the collection of attachments is fairly varied and should meet a variety of needs.

I’ve had 3 of these. My most recent lasted the shortest amount of time. I have had it 3 months and it’s not working right, power is less and it’s making weird sounds. It’s great when it’s working . My last one lasted over 2 yrs with no issues. The first one had something happen where it got really loud right away and customer service was great and replaced it. Over all I love it just wish I didn’t have to get a new one after three months.

Updated 11-17-25. Only use the recharging cord given, i lost mine used a similar cord to charge and burnt up the motor! Great massager! Had for a very long time with no problems. Helped get out back knots, helped with my sciatica pain, lower back pain, and whatever other pain I was having. Really nice handle so you can reach your back on your own and don’t have to have someone help you. I don’t leave very many reviews either. Great product!

UPDATE: I got this 4 days ago and have used it every day. It was great and I really was impressed, but this morning while using it the device stopped. I thought must be the battery needs charged, I went to plug it in and it made a buzzing noise and the light did not come on. I tried plugging it in a few times, but it just made a buzzing noise. The device would not turn on. I did a return and they are sending me a free replacement. I will give it another try, hopefully it is just this one that was defective.

I have never had a massage machine like this before and started looking for one. I like this one as it has a long handle and is easy to use myself. The other models would be I think better if someone else is using it on you (the best way to have massage), but when you are home alone this is really ideal! It would work fine too if someone else used it to give you a massage, but I got this looking for one I could use on my own. I have tried the extra attachments, but other than the half circle one for my calves I only like to use the half circle attachment. It really works best I think for everything. This is easy to use on the bottom and side of your feet (very relaxing). Also, on your low and upper back and the sides of your legs. For the back of my calves I do use the half u circle attachment as it works best. The battery came charged and I was able to use it out of the box right away. I charged it to be fully charged, but not sure I needed to. I can use it for 20 minutes and there is plenty of power left to use it again. I liked it so much I bought one for a gift already and I do think I will buy another one to give as a gift again. For the price and how great this is to use — it really is a great gift to give others that makes a impression and is affordable.

Very good massager. Slightly updated version of the same Renpho massager that I’ve had for 4 or 5 years. A little more streamlined design, a little difference in the charging station but same controls, feel and effective massaging action. Chose this massager when i wanted another one because I’m so pleased with the original one. Original has great battery life and hopefully this one will also.

Great value massager compared to others on the market. The different attachments are versatile and helps relieve aches and pains. The various speeds and vibration patterns are also a good feature. The device has a little bit of weight but that’s good so you don’t have to push down hard to feel the effects. Have used other Renpho products before and so far it’s been great. I have purchased this more than once over the years, and I’m always pleased. This design works better than a massage gun as you are better able to reach your feet, back, and any other part with ease. CAUTION: I have been using it for years on my head and face when I have a headache but didn’t realize the danger until this last purchase which stated in the instructions to not use it on the head (with no further explanation), so I looked it up on the Internet, and it said it could damage small blood vessels near bony areas and cause stroke. You would be surprised to know how much tension you carry in your face—just use caution around bony prominences like around the eyes. Enjoy!

Es ist ein guter Massagestab mit einigen Aufsätzen, schaltet sich nach 20 min automatisch ab und lässt sich aber problemlos nochmal 20 min laufen lassen. Ich empfinde die Massage als sehr entspannend, wenn man sich mal drauf eingelassen hat und sich nicht dagegen muskulär sperrt. Ich schlafe ein wie ein Baby, völlig frei von allem was einen sonst so belastet.
Die Vibrationsstärke reicht für uns locker auf der schwächsten Stufe, wir haben schon einen etwas höheren Muskeltonus, aber weit weg von Bodybuilding.
Unser Zweck war es Verhärtungen und Verspannungen zu behandeln, aufgrund von Überbelastung und falscher Haltung. Und was soll ich sagen, ich lass es 2-3 mal durchlaufen auf niedrigster Stufe und es chillt mich sehr gut runter und gibt mir das Gefühl ich tu mir grad was gutes und kann seelig einschlafen. Und dieses Gefühl ist selten geworden.
Tipp, Ich verwende es auch an den Fusssohlen, wegen Reflexzonen, und das zieht mir wahrlich die Schuhe aus.
Meine Körperzusammensetzung, zum Vergleich der Schüttelkraft: 1,7m/ 63 kilo/ Muskelmasse: 37%/ Fett 26%.
mein Lifestyle: alleinerziehend, sehr aktiv, regelmässig fitness, alleinstehend, körperliche arbeit, hohe muskuläre belastung, wenig bis kaum entspannung, manchmal zu lang am pc (krumme Haltung) hohes Stresslevel.
Für mich passt das Gerät wunderbar 🙂 Und bei dem Preis macht man also wirklich nichts falsch.

I bought one of these for myself because I’m a really fat guy who works from home on a computer, so I tend to get a lot of pain from being in one position too long. This massager fits the bill AND THEN SOME. I use this all the time, I absolutely love it, the vibration is fantastic, the attachments are great…I just use the standard ball because it always works and I’m very lazy, but all the other attachments do their specific jobs perfectly.
So I’m happy with my massager that I bought for my own wholesome purposes…but then my girlfriend came over. I will say with 100% confidence that this massager can replace the ol’ Hitachi Magic Wand as a personal vibrating device. She had some great orgasms with this, and it’s now a favorite toy of ours in the bedroom…not to mention the pleasure we get from actually massaging our sore muscles.
This device is so good I decided to get one for my grandmother for Mother’s Day…and when my mother found out, she asked for one too. So I’ve bought 3 of this exact model, and every human being who has seen it wants to try it, and after trying it, they want to buy one too. This massager is a great value, and it’s one of the few items I’ve bought through Amazon that’s compelled me greatly to write a review.
Oh, I have no idea if the battery life is any good…this thing keeps going way longer than I or anyone who’s used it has needed it. So I would say that YES, the battery life is great….but you know, there’s always “that person” on the internet who needs 86 hours of battery life for that cross-country trip to Alaska or something.

These messagers are not made with quality like they used to be. My wife has one that’s at least 6-7 years old that still works quietly and like a charm. This is the second new one I’ve brought in the last year and they are not the same, I’m guessing you’ve changed your manufacturer. This Model is the same as our old one, but the appearance is slightly different and easy to tell apart. Plus the new ones are noisy right out of the box, and then get noisier every time you use them. My first one lasted 3-4 weeks and then got very noise with a rattle. Then a small bolt actually fell out of the mechanism. This one I just got was very noisy second time I used it so I returned it asap. I’m looking for alternatives from other companies that hopefully still believe in quality. Your old product was excellent!
