This is by far my favorite lip product. I have it in at least 4 different colors, and every one is top notch. Pigment is great but comes off with a makeup remover, and it stays on for hours without flaking or smudging. Can be worn matte without the second step, or glossy with the second step. I personally like to wear step 1 with a basic chapstick over it, as step 1 by itself can feel dry, and step 2 can feel a little sticky. If you’re questioning if this one is worth it, I promise it is!

Rimmel is a truly long lasting lip stain! Other brands declare theirs last all day, but Rimmel is the only brand for me that lasts all day and at night easily wipes off.
Love Rimmel but it’s not sold a lot in my area so thankful that Amazon keeps me supplied.

I’ve been using Provocalips in the Heartbreaker color for over a couple years now and I really love how long the color lasts! It’s by far the best lip stain I’ve tried so far. It stays on after eating.
My only complaint is that the clear topcoat side runs out WAY sooner than the colored stain. I have to reapply that part more than once a day. It’s frustration to have all the colored stain sides that still have product in them and I have to keep buying more because the clear topcoat runs out first. If Rimmel made just the clear topcoat by itself I’d think this was JUST PERFECT.

I recommend this lipstick to all my friends. Do not hesitate to add it to your cart, you will not be disappointed! You do not need to spend more to get a great feeling, long-lasting lipstick.
This lipstick lasts longer and better than any I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot of different kinds. Even much more expensive brands do not last as long as Rimmel Provocalips does. One end is the color (Step 1) and the other end is a gloss you can wear over top (Step 2). It is not bad wearing just the color alone, but I do not like my lips to feel dry, so I usually use the gloss as a topcoat. Without the gloss, the lipstick dries to a matte finish. It does not feel like it is going to crack off though as some similar products do and it does not crack or flake. Step 2 is not a super-shiny gloss, more of a lip balm. I like the feel. It is not a gooey gloss but is not so light that it comes off right away. The gloss does not last through a meal, but the color does. The color holds up to eating, drinking, and kissing. Some really greasy food will remove it a little, but I usually have to remove the color at night with my makeup remover. Some regular cleansers will not even take it off. It has superior staying power!
The only downside is the gloss tends to run out before the lip color does, and I have not been able to find the gloss as a stand-alone product. You have to be careful if you use another gloss or lip balm as the topcoat because some will start to break down the color and it will not last as long.

This time I bought Rimmel Provocalips 16hr Kiss Proof Lip Colour, Summer Lovin. Summer Lovin is a good neutral to warm color for daytime. See my photos. I have it on in the photos. The first photo is Summer Lovin without the gloss and the second is with the gloss. I have a photo of Summer Lovin in the tube and I included a photo of various other colors I own. From left to right they are 750 Heart Breaker, 210 Flirty Fling, 710 Kiss Off, 430 Wish Upon a Berry, 730 Make Your Move, 440 Just Teasing, 220 Lazy Daze, 215 Summer Lovin. My favorite colors for daytime are 430 Wish Upon a Berry if I am wearing pinks or purples, and 730 Make Your Move, or 215 Summer Lovin if I am wearing reds and peachier colors. Nighttime with reds my favorite is 750 Heart Breaker. I wear Heart Breaker in the daytime too sometimes. If you want something that is a deeper raisin shade, 220 Lazy Daze is a good choice. I love this stuff! I hope they keep making it and make even more colors. It worries me that they will discontinue this product since it is hard to find in stores.

WOW !!!! I ordered this long wear lip ware for a pinup contest. I was to be in make up from 8 AM until well after 7 PM without able to refresh my make up and eating and drinking during the day. I was skeptical but this stuff stayed on and it look like I just put it on the entire day. Everyone asked me about this Lipstein. I am so impressed by it I cannot believe, the quality of it I’ve never had a lip stain that lasted morning tonight even after smoking, drinking sipping with a straw and eating sandwiches and it looks amazing still the same shine that it had in the morning

Been desperately trying to find a lip stain that doesn’t bleed, isn’t frosted or glittery, isn’t too garish in color and is easy to use! I followed other reviewer’s advice regarding putting it on at least a half hour after moisturizing, blotting it right away (unless I want a less-natural look, it tones it down), then waiting at least 5 minutes with my lips open to let it dry. At that point, it does feel like it might be making my lips dry, but then I apply the clear shine (or another color of gloss to create a custom color, or just my little cherry lip vaseline) and the whole thing stays on all day and looks great! Im approaching 60, and as you get older your lip lines start fading. I’ve tried all sorts of lip-liners, but NONE of them stay on, and I do not have the time to “prime” my lips then Line them with a liner, and then go back and outline that with a corrector pencil, then apply stain, re-line, apply setting spray, apply gloss, etc. This is just a one and done. I can put it on first thing in the morning and let it dry for 5 while I’m getting dressed, put the gloss on and I’m out the door. Don’t even need to take it with me- it lasts ALL day.
The colors were a bit concerning at first. I got Wish Upon a Berry for more of a neutral color/similar to my natural color, and I got Kiss Fatal, a deeper purplish-plum. My lips are naturally a medium plum shade, so both of these colors look nice, even with my pale white skin. I tried layering them- let the darker on dry then applied the lighter one, and it looks great! Highly recommend this for the colors, longevity, price and the I Don’t Have Time for all that shit factor!! Will add photos later.

I enjoy this product. The color goes on and dries, then the gloss goes on over the color. It will stay on for hours and hours. A fine, long lasting lip color. I don’t even notice I have it on. This is how lipstick should work!! Finally, an affordable, easy, comfortable quality product.

I really like the color I chose — it compliments my pale skin beautifully and has a flattering finish. It applies smoothly, and I followed the directions exactly, including using the top coat to lock it in. While it does have good staying power, I found that it lasted closer to 4–6 hours rather than the full 16 as advertised. It did fade gradually, especially after eating or drinking, but it didn’t flake or dry out my lips too badly, which I appreciated.
Overall, I think it’s a good value for the price. It’s not my absolute favorite or go-to lipstick, but I’m definitely curious to try out a few other shades in the Provocalips line. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a long-wear option that’s budget-friendly and has decent performance, especially if you don’t mind reapplying once or twice throughout the day.

Incredible durability, especially at this price point! I can wear this all day and it looks great! The gloss helps it last and is very shiny but not greasy-looking! I’ve had friends ask me for the brand and they can’t believe how inexpensive it is! Good quality at an even better price!

It is hard to find, was discontinued from many stores, only see it on Amazon now, but with limited colors.

This is the best stay on lipstick on the market as far as I’m concerned. I have it in 5 colors. Yes it is a little bit drying but I use the Rimmel lip gloss over it, or a plumper. It should come in more colors
