As you can see from the pics, this rune set was created with care. It comes packaged well, with a small brochure with meanings, and a cute little carrying bag. Unlike the Elder/Younger Futhark traditional runes (which are more complex), these are Witches Runes, which are dramatically different from typical runes and much better for beginners.
Though wood is the traditional material for runes, I would have preferred them to be of a heavier wood. These feel a bit light and flimsy. That being said, this is a well-made set, including all 13 of the Witches Runes with an added blank rune for the unknowable.
You can use these runes in collaboration with traditional Futhark runes, by themselves, or with any other divination protocol you choose (tarot, oracle, etc.).

These are a nice cute set of Runes. They are a good value for someone who isn’t looking for stone/mineral Runes. Comes with a little book of interpretations. Nice set.

I really want to like these wood runes. I have 2 sets of stone, obsidian and lapis, and a set of EF runes made of bone. I’m partial to the obsidian set, but want to add a wood set to my “tool box”….. But, I’m very distracted by the feminine rune looking like a hormonal IUD! Whats up with the nod to Mirena, for crying out loud!? The feminine rune is intended to appear as a chalice, not an intrauterine device. I’ve noticed this seems to be a new trend, with artists jumping on the IUD wagon. smh Guess I’ll make my own. It is said that’s the way to go, anyway.

I typically use my witches/gypsy runes as semi-precious gemstones. However, this time I wanted to take a gamble and try these feather-light wooden carved witches’ rune set of 13. I was surprised to also find a spare blank rune was included, not unlike the Wryd Rune one would get with the Viking Elder Futhark Runes set.
Each of the 13 Witches’ runes has a circular embellishment, as an artistic design besides the main carving of that runic attribute. I did find the rune for the Feminine typically represented elsewhere as the letter “Y”. Here, that rune, the top letter stems of the rune, seem wavy and split too far apart in my opinion. All other classical witch’s runes appear as usual.
The pamphlet design of the interpretation of each of the 13 witches’ runes and additional background information I found to be done quite professionally. The pamphlet paper stock used was of very high quality. The little black velvety drawstring pouch, probably made out of polyester, I find very cute. Since it has imprinted on the front in white logos all 13 witches’ runes as a set.
The price was quite cheap, coming in around $14.99 US is what I paid for it. The quality surprised me, despite the medium utilized being wood, as stated earlier.
