I bought this French Press in July and waited to review it. I love it! It makes enough for my two large morning mugs of coffee and keeps it hot as well. It is easy to clean, a nice size and the thing that convinced me to buy it is that the filter/plunger is all stainless steel. My previous pot of a different brand which I loved, too, needed the baskets replaced. The company doesn’t make a stainless version, so to avoid more micro plastics, Secura got my order and I am happy with the change.

Infinitely better than any glass french press I’ve used. Not to mention the value proposition with this being such a fair price, I literally bought 2 to give one to a family member.
All of the metal work like welds, laser etching branding and laser etched indicator on the top of the lid to show where lid opens… It’s all very thought out and made with care. Any other product would have just printed on something on top of the metal work and it would have just scraped off in like 10 uses. This thing feels like a tank and would last for years and years. Even the spout where you pour the coffee has been designed in such a way that the way it pours is intentionally smooth and doesn’t “stick” to the french press and make a mess. I honestly think this might be the best valued purchase I’ve made on Amazon in the history of using it. It’s honestly that surprising. This thing feels like it could be easily $70 dollars, but it’s actually at a fair price.
The only couple minor complaints I have, have to do with the screen mesh filter and the metal “spring” coiled around one of the assembly plates. I would love to see the inside circle mesh where a hole has been punched out to assemble the other parts on top of the screen, to have a washer/ring that lines the inside of that mesh hole punch. It has some slight fraying to it that I could see slowly deteriorating over time and it would also make it more comfortable with washing it without fear of one of the metal strands stabbing you in the finger. The other complaint is a little more of an issue with how the metal spring is assembled that lines one of the assembly plates. On my product, the end of the spring had just a sharp end sticking out, so when pushing the french press down, it would scrape against the side of the walls inside the french press. I ended up just taking a pair of pliers and bending the end part of the spring sticking out and pulled it inwards so it wasn’t facing the wall of the cup. Other than that though, pretty much perfect product. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to foam milk by pushing the press up and down a few times, and also for people who want to make a great cup of coffee.

Cannot believe the quality and value of this. Yeah it makes an incredible cup, but that may also be more reliant on the coffee you use and like to use, and your skill at matching the correct temps and so on. But, this French press is incredibly well made, the screen produces a very nice clean cup of coffee, heat is retained well also. Bottom line it’s a great looking product, well made and works as well or better than promised and all for a fantastic price!

I’ve been through MANY French presses in my last 20 years of using them- it’s the only method of coffee making that I use. This is by far the best French press I’ve ever used! 1-it won’t break: I’ve broken the glass ones from running hot water in it, then too cold of water to rinse it, plus knocking it into things, including just sitting a glass one on the counter made it break one time. This means that if you’re in a hurry, you can pour your coffee, rinse it immediately and run out the door. 2- it keeps coffee warm for around 2 hours (this was on a car ride with cold air blowing on it in the floorboard, so it might even stay hot longer).
3- my FAVORITE part about this, as shown in the pic, is the little arrow on top of the lid facing the spout so you know how far to turn the tip in order to pour. I’ve always marked my presses with a sharpie on top to know where to pour, but I’m thrilled with the thought process and detail this company put into this, it just shows the quality. 4- this is the best filter system I’ve ever had on a French press. This comes down to the fit and perfect cut of the filter to the press cup. I’m used to getting some grounds in my coffee cup every now and then, but have yet to have this problem with this press. 5- the ability to pour multiple cups- and hot cups at that!- is so appreciated. After 20 years of using these things, I’m so glad to have found this!!! Thank you, Secura! If I could add one thing, I’d love to see them in different colors!

Yep she still gives me the eyeball in the morning. But at least she has coffee in her hand. I have yet to replace the filter. I would say 1 out of 5 or 6 uses I give a good cleaning and split apart the filter…while she is waiting for her cup 😉 …thus the eye ball

I have used a few French press in the past. Here are a few observations.
1) extra bonus filer sceens. Nice!!! Thanks for adding them. This is a great bonus.
2) double wall insulation. Finally!! No burns and it keeps my coffe hot for cups 2 and 3!
3) stainless construction. Its sexy!…. well as far as a French press is concerned. Perfect to pack and won’t break. My other presses….i was scared to break washing or putting boiling water in. Last one burst….huge mess and burnt toes.
3.5) size matters. There is enough for my wife (coffee hog) and for me. Nothing is worse than a morning battle over coffee.
4) great cup of coffee. Hint use medium course ground not fine. Fresh ground if possible….. Boiling water, a good stir and let it sit for 3 min. And vola… no more hating morning’s. No more wife giving me the evil eyeball over snoring.
5) it filters great, no grounds in my cup…this is a first for me. All other presses have let grounds get in…
My intent was to get this for work. I travel alot now and hotel coffee tastes like hot water over gym socks. I might have to get another so one can be at home.

An outstanding French press. The double screen filters help to cut down on the small particle sludge that sometimes accompanies a cup of coffee prepped in a French Press. Additionally the stainless steel construction helps to keep coffee drinkably warm for about 20 minutes after the initial press. Great for that second cup. Easy to clean and well made. Of all the French Presses I had used, this is the top choice for me. This press will make 2 10oz cups.

The manufacturer tries to save on material and has made the press disk thinner than on the same item purchased 2+ years ago. The vessel is of same quality. Overall makes great coffee and keeps it warm for a while.
The nut attaching the press disk to the shaft should feature a lock washer as it tends to get loose over time.

I’ve waited to do a review and use it before giving my honest opinion, I have to say I love this French press it is very well made heavy duty, and very easy to use and cleans up so easy. After you put hot water in and let sit i was worried about it being to hot to touch, but it’s not just little warm not hot at all. and it comes with extra parts and it makes a wonderful cup of coffee. I’m drinking a cup as I right this review so good. The handle is made onto the press and the stainless steel is so easy to clean and after use run some water on the plunger and the coffee grounds wash right off so easy I truly love it. I would definitely 100% recommend this press to anyone. They seller was quick on shipping there was no problems at all I would recommend this seller to. I’m very happy with my purchase. And I didn’t get this free for a review or got paid it was all on me.

I’ve used this coffee maker a few times now and I will say that it does what it claims to do. I get a very good cup of coffee using this pot with zero coffee grinds. It feels solid in the hand and also feels well made. My only issue with it was from an aesthetic standpoint, as the top of the handle came with a couple small scratches and a small ding in it. I think I paid around 23 dollars for this, so at that price point-I’m ok with it. This is a nice-looking coffee maker that you wouldn’t mind leaving out on display. This looks like a copy of the more expensive Mueller coffee maker (twice the price). If you’re looking for a solid coffee press and are willing to overlook some minor imperfections, then don’t hesitate to buy it.

But I’d order the next larger size than you think you want. I ordered the 12 oz size because 12 oz is enough coffee for me. But I can’t fit 12 oz of water in the pot (along with the coffee and plunger). So I wish I had gotten the next larger size. So after I pour my first cup, I add more water and let it steep again and it’s good though a bit weaker than the first cup. I highly recommend this coffee pot. There’s NO PLASTIC OR ALUMINUM! And no glass for me to break.

Love this French Press. Unlike the glass presses, you can preheat and steep with boiling water. Unlike the glass presses this is solid and heavy and you don’t have to worry about it breaking with the slightest bump. This press makes a hot, delicious smooth cup of coffee. I love this French press so much I’m tempted to include it in family photos, with me holding it like I’m a “Price is Right” model! . I wanted to get away from plastic parts in my coffee routine, and this Secura French press is exactly what I hoped for. It’s solidly built, heavy, and feels indestructible — every weld and joint is strong and clean.
While it’s insulated, the exterior does get warm to the touch, so it’s not quite Thermos-level, but the coffee inside stays hot for a good 2–3 hours. The double screens work beautifully, leaving just a trace of grounds in the cup — nothing unpleasant. The spout pours smoothly, and the lid’s alignment arrow is more of a guide than a gatekeeper (you can still pour even when it’s not lined up).
Cleanup is easy if you follow the directions, and best of all, no microplastics leaching into my morning brew. This French press makes truly delicious coffee — highly recommend!

I couldn’t be more pleased with this brand. It’s best if you wash it out after using and don’t let Coffey sit in it for hours and hours and hours after due date if you ever do need, you can do a diluted water and vinegar rinse and wash. I recommend not using anything at brief of inside of it. It’s a very, very good pot and it’s far better than the other designer brands available That are maybe well known very good filtering system as well better than the most well-known brand in the business love this love the company. They also really stand by their product and immediately respond if you have an issue.

For the price this is a hard value to beat! I live off grid and this has transformed my coffee drinking experience! I can keep it extra warm on the woodstove in winter, and summer is warm enough to maintain heat. It is no thermal comparison as a good thermos. Its not thin metal, has some insulation properties, but don’t expect it to be extremely thermal capable. In a colder (50f degree) air temp, it cools off pretty quick. Filter quality is superb! Usability is superb! Easy to use and clean! For the price its hard to beat!
