Nice beginners drum. I have never used one before so don’t have anything to compare it to, nicer ones online made with buffalo skin are quite expensive so I went with this one to start. I got one of the larger size ones I don’t recall exactly, but I will be getting two smaller ones for my teenager and my younger child so we can drum together. Looks like it’s well-made and quite sturdy, feels easy to hold too.

I was really excited to receive my 24-inch shaman drum, and I have to say, the sound quality is fantastic. It has a deep, resonant tone that really draws you in—perfect for meditation or spiritual practices. However, I was pretty disappointed with the construction of the handle. After less than five minutes of playing, the handle started to fall apart, which is really frustrating considering the price.
The drum itself seems sturdy, but the poor quality of the handle is a big letdown. I expected better durability for something that’s meant to be used regularly. I hope this is just a one-off issue and not a sign of overall build quality. If the handle had held up better, this would easily be a five-star review. For now, I’ll have to figure out a way to repair or replace the handle to continue using the drum.
