I never heard of shower steamers until the Today show. I bought one to try out as it’s inexpensive and I wanted to see if it would indeed relax me. I don’t have the time or patience to take long, relaxing baths so was hoping this would be a good alternative. You simply place it in the corner of your shower while the water is running. You can indeed smell the fragrance coming from the tablet and it is definitely relaxing. I bought more of these for Christmas stocking stuffers for my daughters. The only con is I do find myself taking longer showers as they are now more enjoyable so hope it doesn’t reflect much on my water bill :).

The orange smelled like feet, the pomegranate rose smelled like the inside of a locker room, the lavender smelled like chemicals, and the watermelon and mint had no scent whatsoever. The eucalyptus mint was the only decent smelling one, and even that wasn’t the most pleasant.

My friends and work friends are of a variety of ages and interests. It’s not easy to find a useful AND unique product to give them as holiday or birthday gifts. There are several selections on Amazon, but I chose this one which I find is the best value. I recommend as your go-to, no-brainer perfect gift for any occasion (but especially helpful during the holidays – I purchased a dozen of these this year) and your recipients will enjoy them, as I did. I’m giving one as a gift to a family member and I know they’ll love them as much as I do. You only have to use half of a tablet for a quick shower and use the whole tablet for a longer shower. Just place it in the corner of the shower and not directly under the water so it dissolves at a slower rate. These are perfect for a nice morning or evening relaxing shower.
